  • Turbo starts so slowly now???

Hello to all Peugeot fans, don’t know, somehow I noticed my oil change, that the turbo just gets active after a certain time, but that was NEVER the case before…. hi funny….it’s about a 206 Peugeot Sport HDI 2.0 and when I went into the gas, he immediately activated the turbo….now it’s different and really doesn’t know what it could be…..can’t be the oil and the only thing I had to remove the lower engine cover. n, because it was completely destroyed……I also noticed that it is the worst at REGEN….can it have to do with the lower engine cover, the protection???? In any case I changed the air filter, which was already very wet and dirty and the pollen filter also the same…..naja, the small one has now already nearly 108.000km druff and soon the timing belt should be changed too. Until 120.000km it should be guaranteed that it does not tear. I think sometimes , such a lower engine cover will be very expensive, however, it should dampen the engine noise or be seen as a protection when driving….well, the small black one is so deep that the engine cover just didn’t make it*gg*….know who costs how much such a part?…maybe replica stop….originally just way too expensive I think……well, I’d be really happy if I could help someone with my problem with the turbo….the engine runs really round, but he simply no longer accepts the gas at the beginning. lg mckater

  • Renewal of the water pump when changing the timing belt?

Hello, I have the 120,000km inspection and with it also the renewal of the timing belt. The Peugeot dealer and ATU say that the water pump would be replaced prophylactically. Another dealer said that the renewal of the water pump only makes sense if it is leaking, everything else would be money making. The Peugeot dealer holds against that if the water pump is broken, the timing belt must also be renewed, because these parts are related to each other. The question is now, who is right and how long does a water pump last if it is not replaced after 120,000km’? I don’t want to save at the wrong end. Greetings Eifelzwerg

  • new member, old car and many construction sites

Hello everyone, John my name and I would like to introduce myself today. I have been in possession of a 850er for 4 years in the most miserable condition. Actually I needed a car at that time only quickly, because the family needed more space and the VW GTI had a capital engine damage. Boa what I sank in there within a short time for a coal. I had found an old, red, derelict moose just 200 meters from my front door. The car stood several years ago. ereported under a tree, was full of foliage and had had an accident on the left front. That the car was a construction site car and the previous owner had some dogs didn’t exactly make the thing better. For 3 years I didn’t put much in the car, the money was very scarce and this forum helped me VERY further. I saved several hundred euros through this. Also through various videos from the Youtube-Robert. I would like here explicitly the users “adult” and “Scutyde” (Schreibwei I’ve taken a lot of these here. How’s my Volvo today? The TÜV is due, the ABS has not been running for 4 years. Currently there are many construction sites (certainly a page full) that will be removed in the next month. The old moose really earned it. I’ve never been SO satisfied with a car for 4 years. I’ll also read a lot here.

  • Part compatibility C70 – V70 I

Hello Elchgemeinde! Was today at the Schrotti and could find a door lock VL from a C70. This C70 year 2000 also has an alarm system (LED and sensor visible on the dashboard). At the extended lock I could see the 2 green micro-switches. The Schrotti could not tell me if the lock of the C70 also fits in my V70 I, therefore the question to you experts. Does a door lock from the C70 year 2000 fit in my V70 I year 98 T5 (see also the Deadlook function)? Greeting Dobrowolsky PS: Is there already a part set-up that can easily be taken over from the C70 into the V70 I? The headlights should be the same.

  • Change W123 coupling hose

Hello friends of the old stars, I currently have a bit of problems with my clutch hydraulics. The first two three KMs it is relatively difficult to switch with, after that no more problems, so probably air in the system. Taker and encoder cylinders are not soooo old (about 3 years) so that I could imagine that it might also be on the clutch hose this time. Now I looked at the “Russen-EPC” and saw that there are apparently two different versions (see photo).Does anyone here know which type of hose has been installed in which cars? (I know I could get the information from Mercedes and then order there, but both versions cost 150€ each which I am not ready to pay for a hydraulic hose). The second question would be if someone changed the hose recently and could provide relevant information for installation and removal: Is it very fuzzy or is it possible? Do you have to pay attention to something special? e perform the repair in a self-help workshop, which is why it is always very practical to consider possible complications already in advance. Thank you in advance for your help! Best regards The scrap metal fanatic

  • W114 Coupé vs R107

Dear forum! We are just about to decide to buy a vintage car. My preference would be a 114er coupé (250 CE), while my wife would like to have a R107 (380). The differences between the two are of course enormous and difficult to compare. Nevertheless, I would ask for your pros and cons! Thanks in advance and sunny greetings, Thomas

  • W123: Remove rootwood – Repair?

Hi together! Will now finally approach the interior of my 123er – especially the various wooden inlays. Over time these are partly scratched, damaged and do not fit together (my grandpa had to change one – unfortunately in the wrong wood…) Question 1: Remove center console I can manage – but how can I get rid of the groins on the dashboard?! Is there a trick / careful method? Question 2: Individuals try to buy or foil The elements are yes maximum difficult to get, because for example every different switch has… I know you stoned me certainly but has jmd thought about foliing?! I don’t want to put mine in the museum, but just drive and feel comfortable, but 2 years looking for 800EUR is not so my joy also your tips and tricks! THANK YOU! Niki

  • New taxes, have you read?

I have just heard it on the radio, from June on taxes should no longer be calculated by engine capacity but by g co2. The question arises to me on whether large companies also have to print 2 Euro per gram co2 what you blow up in the air? There would be so much nice possibilities to preserve the environment sustainably, to save and to spare and what does our Bundestag do? Of course, takes again the most short-term solution which in the end does nothing. I really wonder what this with our We It should still be done if everyone is so lazily dealing with the topic and obviously nobody is interested. As I understood earlier the first 120g co2/km are free, each additional gram costs then 2 Euro. Can someone confirm that? Haven’t found anything yet… So even the 2.5 DTi would cost only 228Euro taxes!? Well, just give your opinions off MfG

  • Idle speed Omega 3.2 V6

Hey people, need urgent help. Since about 15 TKM the DZM shows about 550 rpm. The engine also runs a bit rough. Was already in the workshop and had the idle speed raised to the maximum 950 rpm, unfortunately without success. Is there with the 3.2 it also as a kind of idler as with the 3.0. I already the whole time on troubleshooting. Who knows with the engine and its treacherous something. Thank me already for comment ;-)) Domi81

  • It also blocks HILLFFEEEE when driving from time to time

Hi guys, I’ve already read all sorts of things here, but I’m going to open my own topic. As written in the description, it cracks with me when I steer. Sometimes it blocks easily. I have unscrewed the steering cover and found a small plastic part in the lower part, no idea of what that can be. I steered something back and forth and noticed that in this eye view when it blocks this “plastic disc” goes slightly upwards behind the steering wheel…. Has jeman d ne idea ?? Thank you
