  • The first AMG GT

    Dear Forengemeinde, I would like to introduce myself in advance. I used to drive Audi until 3 years ago, most recently Audi TTS. Then the AMG C63 came as a coupe. I have to say, so far the best car I have ever been allowed to drive. Emotionally a madness. After C63 came the GLC 63 AMG Coupe. I have to say that I was really disappointed after C63. Soundwise this was clearly emotionless. I don’t know if it was on the particle filter or generally on the difference C63 Coupe Now the AMG GT Coupe is coming in January. I have to say that I have not been so excited about any car. My question in advance to you, is there any experience with the GT coupes from 2019 regarding sound? And can anyone classify this between C63 and GLC 63 pre-mopf? I’ve been thinking about the color for a long time, but I think it’s really nice in silver with the black accents. Thank you!

  • Water intrusion through leaking sunroof

  • X20XEV motor, switch and automatic equal?

    Since I didn’t find anything wrong about the SuFu…I would have liked to ask a question seriously: I want to install in my Omega B Caravann X20XEV engine with less km…but the potential “new” engine is from a switchcar…other differences are…I don’t have a climate,the donor vehicle had a…I think something like climate compressor can be dismantled and disposed of…but what about the gearbox?I let myself be told that I had the flywheel And in general:Is an X20XEV always the same?It was not only installed in the Omega B, but also in the Vectra B, Calibra, Astra G etc….would an X20XEV fit in my ́94 Omega, for example, from a G-Astra?

  • 3.0 TDI BMK and injectors?

    Hello, on the Internet you can read a lot about problems with the injectors with regard to the 3.0 TDI. Well, I have the 3.0 TDI (BMK) in my 2005er, MJ 2006 Phaeton. The following values I have read today by VCDS, km stand: 163.800 1 injector, which seems to be already at the end with -22, all the others are obviously coked. What is surprising is that I have never read about defective injectors with the 3.0 TDI here in the forum, at least I don’t remember reading about defective injectors with the 3.0 TDI. I’ve had at least 5000 to 6000 km before, before that my schedule is packed so full that I don’t have any real time to investigate the whole thing. What do you think?   • How much pumps wiping water?

    Hello Together now the next defect. No water comes from the windscreen wash nozzles and also not from the headlight cleaning nozzles. How many pumps does the thickness have? Only one pump for everything or two? If two it is very unlikely that both are identically defective. All at the same time clogged also does not work. But fuses can it not be anyhow (look after) because the fuse is SD11 for headlight cleaning and SD19 for disc…. Am for each one Tip grateful Greetings Günni

    That’s exactly what happened to me yesterday with my omi. During the ride the display of the on-board computer goes to 50 km range and flashes. Well, I figured that would still come home and to the tank. Schei…, after 4 km the omi starts to buck until the engine went out. I thought, what is that now again????!!! Well, then I pulled the simplest solution in terms of 5 Litter canisters out and off. See there, when the omi had taken the 5 liters she jumped again as if nothing had happened to me.   • Brösel Brösel: Cable repair ABS pump Volvo 850 MJ 96

    Hello dear elk hats, now I (or the elk) also got caught by the Brösel virus. Actually, I only wanted to replace the ABS control unit (typical ABS + Tracs error). According to diagnosis code 443 (electrical or mechanical error ABS pump). Well, when I was expanding I had the isolation almost completely of both strippings in my hand. I have read a lot about the phenomenon both here and in the US forum. But I have nowhere found a concrete answer as it is in the end again. This is why I have some questions: 1) How do I get the black cap from the pump without removing the ABS block? Is there a trick in how to remove it from the pump motor? 2) How do I isolate the cables best? Generally, the condition of the copper is still OK. I was able to remove some oxidation products (only above ground) well with contact WL. I have already removed the 2-pin plug housing – so the cables are pinned out. At the ends si This makes the work with shrink hose exciting. I ordered a 4-1 shrink hose now and want to try to get over it with 8 mm ID. But maybe there is also a better procedure? 3) Can you drive the vehicle (in terms of damage to the ABS control unit) without a plugged-in pump? (apart from the fact that defective ABS is never great, but that’s what it is at the moment anyway.) 4) If you do the whole thing very differently like this welten, also gladly with the information.   • Smoke from the ventilation nozzles

    Hello Elchgemeinde. It is again about a ’00 TDI with automatic climate control. We went before without activated air conditioning, with switched on ventilation (faith automatic position) about 1km to shopping. After 2x parking for approx. 10min with slightly opened windows and 40m between the parking lots, it smelled when getting on to rotted plastic. Short check behind the radio (had recently built a new radio, therefore the glove compartment was already outside) climate control part and below After 10 meters of driving, plastic smoke blew towards me through the two middle nozzles. The shock sat and I immediately switched off the ignition and the children evacuated or can do it quite well themselves. I checked afterwards: the fan, the radio and the air conditioning unit. I left the latter outside and removed the plug at the rear of the air conditioning box (picture) and drove home without having to smoke again. 1. I Can this happen if the control flap adjustment has never been performed? I have heard a flapper/running probably the control motors in the dashboard from time to time. Nozzle adjustment via dial wheel has been problem-free so far. 3. How do I proceed now? 4. Can the ventilation/climate be used for the first time if the control position remains in a position so that the control motor is not controlled again and completely burns?   • Belt Warner Series at v70 1?

    Hello, so after some errors are fixed now on the v70, it goes on! The belt warner ! Mine is without Funkion! Was there always the side in the V70? With me under the seat these cables arrive..The seats are from the facelift. The thick cables for the seat heating arrive, and on the same plug the thinner black ones..knows someone, if these thin cables are for the belt warner? Was there any differences? Because there is a bridge in there, what surprises me. n is also cut open and wrapped with insulating tape. Is the original so? Have a nice weekend for you

  • BlinkBox – Dimensions Contacts searched

    There is still (hopefully ?) a whole herd of moose drivers, which have a model with the BlinkBox A/B in front. I am here again something to craft, for which I must necessarily have the dimensions of the contacts to each other, as well as to the respective inner edges of the boxes – i.e. distances row/column as well as the max. dimension X/Y of a board, which fits into the boxes A/B. Also important the diameter and length of the test pen. Who is sometimes so nice, and can sketch this for me -pl us some good pics of the box ?
