  • Dyna Street Bob weak suspension fork??

Hi there, unfortunately I didn’t really find something on the internet that helps me with my problem. The following: I plan to buy a Dyna Street Bob 2011 96CUI. Today I looked at one again. Since it fits from the price into my budget, I also looked a bit more closely. I noticed then that the suspension fork in the front is bad and then not up to the stop. I did not see any oil or anything at the fork. Before that, I did not see any oil or anything else. a sportster S built in 2022 and lastly a Suzuki GSX-S 750 – that was definitely not the case there. Of course, the Dyna is heavy and built in 2011, I think you didn’t put such a great emphasis on the suspension on such a motorcycle. Can you tell me if the generally sluggish or does the suspension fork have a way? Thank you very much

  • 40000 kilometers with my Chinese Westlake tires

After about 40000 kilometres with Westlake tires in the tire size 185 60 15 have now converted to adhesive tires. My experience with the Opel Meriva: – the first 200 kilometers slightly slippery on dry road. – then not noticeable on wetness or on dryness. – very low wear – at the end at approx.2.5 – 3 mm profile depth very susceptible to aquaplaning. – until the end good braking behaviour in wet weather – until the end no tire noise – no tyre damage Conclusion: better than expected.

  • Harley for big people

Moin! I’d like to get an HD and I’m totally fascinated by the Fat Boy. But I just read somewhere that Fat Boy is nothing for big people. Before I get up to any test drives and pros, I’d like to know from you what you can recommend to me for an HD, if you take into account that I’m 1.93 m tall and not quite easy. I don’t want to look like I’m on my Bonanza bike. Thank you.

  • H-D Night-Train year 2007 does not start.

Hello everybody, I have a problem again. I drove a lap yesterday and at the beginning everything was ok. I stopped at a Norma to get something to drink. When I wanted to start afterwards she went on first and then immediately out again. After that I did not get to her anymore. Then I called my girlfriend and she came with her car and a bridge cable. The cable made it, a time waited and then tried again. But without success. but it doesn’t start. Then I called the ADAC and it finally came after 1.5 hours. I then had myself brought with the moped into a hall from me. After the unloading I tried to start for fun and she was there immediately. Then I drove with her about 25 km without any problems home. This morning the same game. Again it does not start. Then I hung the battery to the charger and then it jumped again. Then I wait again half a day. I have 2 batteries here. Both were so cheap batteries for 65 €. I suppose they are both on the A…. And now my question. Can it be that the battery has enough juice to turn the starter but then has too little to get a decent ignition spark? I took out the spark plugs once. The spark is there but I mean, it’s just that I don’t have enough juice to turn the starter. It would be nice if I got any tips. Greetings Frank P.S. On the picture is the battery I installed.

  • King Sportster Tank on Softail

Moin I’ve had my oven for a few years now and I want to knit something else out of it. I find the King Sportstertank on the Softail quite funky, rear remodeling also follows (flatfender and side cake sheet with saddle bag in front), 20 Z handlebars and somehow back-laid footrests. I got infected by the old school virus in Los Angeles in May. Is the tunnel at the Sportstertank as wide as the 2-piece softail tank? probably not. The flatfender is supposed to be resonating, sociable for occasional coffee trips. Are there any ones that have built such a thing? for the purpose of entry etc… I have seen this more often, only what do I have to pay attention to?

  • Renault Laguna 1 Buy or not???

Hello Renault expert! I’m seriously thinking about buying a Renault Laguna 1, built in 1999, 1.9 diesel with 98 hp and 61,000 km on it. Color black and climate it has. Is also really very well maintained the car with service booklet and very good paint. Rust is also not available at all. What do you think you can recommend the vehicle or should I ask for an alternative?? How does it look with reliability, consumption?? I’m not a frequent driver! twa 6,000 to 8,000 km!! mfg, blitzwilli

  • A short time after start, bright noise sounds and shortly afterwards only emergency run at 1700 rpm

Hi together, I got into my Transit Custom today (at -6°C) (last trip only 3 days ago, i.e. to the TÜV, which I passed without any problems), and after about 300 meters a bright noise sounded, which I could not find at first. I did not know if it just comes from outside or from the car itself, I also turned around on the radio, whether it comes from it. It was then also for a short time again clearly brighter/higher and after a further approx. 200 meters it jerked then Suddenly and the engine only turned up to 1700 revolutions (no matter in which gear). In the BC only “Service necessary” appeared. I then ran right, switched off the engine and restarted again. For a few seconds the problem seemed to be gone, because I could turn higher again and no message appeared in the BC, but finally the game started again from the beginning. I noticed then that I heard a new noise as soon as I switched on the ignition: h ttps://youtube.com/shorts/gKqzVAMycJ0?si=421v2eJJxms8uKUJ sounds like a siren and I don’t think it’s what I heard before the emergency run program while driving, but I can also be mistaken. I couldn’t exactly locate it, but it didn’t seem to come out of the engine compartment, but rather from the area under the driver’s door. Can that be the fuel pump?

  • Determine the age of a weld seam

Hello together I bought an occasion car 9 months ago. A few days ago a mechanic discovered by chance that the exhaust was modified (including welded). I wanted to ask myself if it is possible to determine by an expert the age of a weld seam? If so, how exactly would this be? I must somehow prove that the modification was made before the purchase and I haven’t changed anything on the exhaust since purchase – otherwise I have bigger problems… Or do you have other ideas like I can prove that? The previous owner says he didn’t do anything and I would have made it. Thank you for your help and greetings.
