  • Caravan: 12V power supply with 220V converter and battery.

    Moinsen, I have an understanding question about the operation of the 12V network in the trailer, which the SuFu could not answer. Also I do not want to buy a new electric block. Here the actual condition: caravan Knaus Azur, BJ 1991. As standard equipped with a 220V/12V converter. No battery. Some lamps and the water pumps run over 12V (so far from the converter supplied by land power). Some lamps, refrigerator and the Truma-Vent run over 220V. For the converter unfortunately, no technical data are available. The following is before: installation of a battery. Installation of a charger 220V/12V installation of a solar system. After the conversion – so I imagine that the 12V consumers should be supplied with the converter after the 12V has arrived. The 12V power supply is not supposed to be supplied by the 12V switch over the battery.

  • Power losses!?

    Hi! Actually I’m quite satisfied with the performance of my CTR ́s. I had a K&N Typhoon kit in the fall, but it was even more satisfied! ;^) But now I put WR on it and at the same time I prefer the original air filter box installed, but also with K&N replacement filter. Somehow I have the feeling that the car no longer has the kick from 6000 rpm. Is this in the cold weather that the car doesn ́t really run anymore?! Normally a motor runs like this only really when the intake air is nice cold. I also have real problems with estimating whether the engine or the oil is already at temperature. I drive really long until I have the feeling now can ́t go off. I think at least 30min. or 20km. Or has a defect crept in with me on the engine. So somehow the engine has become “severeer” if you can describe it this way. Do you have any idea what is going on?!

  • New CRV suitable for winter?

    In various test reports, the CRV’s main criticism is the somewhat sluggish reaction of the lamellar coupling on the rear axle. Obviously, first the front wheels rotate through some revolutions until the clutch closes due to the speed difference between front and rear wheels.     Hello CRV’ler, I’m about to decide for a 2.0 AT Elegance. I didn’t really want to order the Sun&Light Packet because it contains several things that I can do without. I’m not so sure about the light only. Are the standard halogen headlights really good, or does he need the Xenon? Unfortunately, they are not individually available:-( Although I have Xenon now in my A-Class, only the difference to the normal DE headlights (which the CRV has) is not sooooo big.   • CR-V Diesel or Gasoline?
