  • Smart CDI exhaust at ATU for 41€ 🙂

Hello. Incredible but true ! In June advertising brochure of the ATU there is this offer -> rear silencer costs one € per PS 🙂 I sent an e-mail to my ATU branch, of course an e-mail has come back that this offer does not apply to the Smart, because with Kat etc…. blablabla I complained at the ATU headquarters in Weiden and see there got the commitment for an exhaust for my Smart. Of course a Eberspächer with KAT and ABE 🙂 I attached my bill to you and a picture of the montage. Perhaps this offer still applies to you good luck with greetings Thomas Edit by Derk: The picture pendants were removed at the request of the author.

  • B96 or light Where to look?

Evening. After 3.5 years of camper and a year of camping break, it thirsts us (5 persons + dog) for camping. The reason for the sale was the lack of mobility on site. Due to a misadventure in the late 90s I have only class B, while my better half has B1E to 12t. If I now look for WoWa with 5 sleeping places, then these are mostly between 1,300kg and 1,500kg zGG. My car has 2,250kg zGG with an empty weight of 1,670kg, a trailer load of 2,100kg, a support load of 100kg and a payload of 580kg. As soon as the WoWa comes over 1,250kg zGG, I exceed the 3.5t GG of tractor and trailer. If I have understood all the contributions correctly, I deduct the payload from the payload. Are then 480kg. 2 adults, 3 children, 1 dog should be with us about 300kg. So stay 180kg in the car for luggage etc. With B96 the team can have 4,250kg zGG. So the WoWa smooth 2,000kg zGG. The 100 registration would exist up to factor 1 of the curb weight of the train Now we are faced with the question whether we should look for a WoWa up to 1,250kg zGG or if I should extend my cloth by B96. At the moment I tend to B96 with a WoWa up to 1,500kg zGG. If there is still an awning and a few camping furniture to the clothes, the WoWa should not be sewn on edge (useful load). Are there members who also made the B96? Many recommend the hanging certificate with examination. But so much effort for the few Fa Did you have a year? Oh, if the train car is no longer, a similar or similar one comes, which has about 5kg less payload. All of you a quiet new week

  • HELP, seats are missing!!!!

Hello We bought an old Bürstner WOMO yesterday. This WOMO has 4 sleeping places! But are registered in the registration certificate as I have just seen only 2 seats. But we are 2 adults and two children ( 6 and 8 years). However, on the bench at the table there are 2 pelvic belts. The seller said that these belts would be OK, otherwise the TÜV would not accept them. When I read the approval certificate at breakfast now I almost fell there under S1 (seats including driver’s seat) is the number 2. Unfortunately, the seller can only be reached again from the 05.01.. Or is such a kind of inventory protection??? The WOMO is built in 1991 Please urgently for help, since we want to start the day after tomorrow!! In advance Thanks Paulchen

  • New old caravan bought. Electrics 1×1

Hello dear ones! After reading for days I have to open a thread. I have read so many articles about WoWa Elektrik that I now know which possibilities there are, or systems, but still do not recognize how the existing (or not existing?) system works. We recently bought a Bürstner City BJ. 82. Now we have been busy renovating for some time now. The topic of “electronics” is about. I suspect that there will be a lot of problems. please help me and explain what you see in the pictures here and how the whole thing works together and above all – how and where does a battery come between? I am very confused. And how do I find out if the 13pin plug is already set up in such a way that the alternator of the towing vehicle could charge the WoWa battery if necessary (provided that the booster)? To the project: We would like to equip the caravan with a system, which For max. 4 days Autark can be used. Consumers would be 12V consumers like LEDs and chargers, but also 220V like for example a sandwichmaker or similar. Here are the pictures. Below the bench in the rear are some cables. These lead under the sink to a voltage converter, from there to the wardrobe, in which a fuse is installed (or 2?) Up to the two photographed cans. Does the battery come between there? From there it goes on to the Outside connection for electricity. What exactly did I photograph there? Thank you in advance Best regards, Alexander

  • Saab with Opel engine

Hi I’m relatively new in the forum and an enthusiastic Saab driver (93 SE with Hirsch-Tuning). A work colleague (Golf VR 6 drivers) whom I take with me on business trips from time to time was so enthusiastic about the Saab that it could imagine buying the new Saab 93 – until I casually mentioned that the new engine was based on the Opel engine. Then the topic was done for him: “Opel engine – I don’t drive that…” So far I have not read a detailed information about which engine comp I am surprised that there are no tuned engines (at least from Hirsch) available from the new 93er – my interpretation is that the engine has to be too little stable….

  • how does the oil sieve sound when it’s tight?

Hm, that with the oil sieve, someone knows how that sounds to me. I have a whirring sound at the front right, regardless of speed and autmatic position. Whenever it starts when it’s warm, it’s gone – but not always. The noise is high and erring. I was already at the forge, there you changed the oil filter, which was supposed to be too. But the noise was back again… I’m not sure now if I should make the oil tank number precautionarily or not. The car has only 50 tkm, taken over with 28tkm and since then all 10tkm always get an oil change. Can the sinter have a different origin – the oil pump should sound different…

  • AU at the TÜV in SU… Aua!

Wishes to have had a happy Easter! Was last week at the TÜV and AU in SU. Was still early, the TÜV employee musty. Ok. Fumbles around his PC and with every measurement I suddenly see the green beam turning red (after which he went off the gas) He could talk: “That’s what for the workshop” On friendly! Inquiries was only to hear: “empty run too high” Again asked and in fact the reference speed was at 12 (twelve)!!!! RPM too high. What was nice with the old Ver There were 100 RPMs that could still be set after hearing. Still had the AU certificate from the last time, also SU, but a super-neather examiner, who had a little tricked and assured me everything would be great. The guy sees the certificate, murmured angryly and….made another measurement. Glued the badge and said goodbye: “That’s not possible, that’s not okay! Since you may have already read that I have a big bow around Saab Werkst If Kater’s blacksmith wasn’t so far away, I’d give him up too…. I’d be grateful for your opinion. dierk

  • Disconnection of thrust

Moin! In a thread for sprite-saving driving (MT-Forum “Alternative Fuels”, it is postulated that the push-off only takes effect from a certain speed. Under this speed fuel is injected, so it is cheaper to drive in idle mode (or better: to let roll ). Does this also apply to the Saab – and if yes, from which speed? (has unfortunately only cut through consumption in my SID, not currently consumption ) I am satisfied with my consumption (just 9 liters) – with speedy drive, but maybe there is another tenth in it. Have a 2002er 9-3 with Trionic 7 (2.0t, Hirsch). But might be interesting to say something about all engine variants (to which corresponding information is known) … Greeting
