Hello together, as seen in the photo, found a piece of metal in the rear wheel at my Harley today. My question would be: would you fix the tire or change it? Thank you very much.

Questions about the end of the “time limit” for general tyre approvals
On 31.12.2024 the “already time” for general tire manufacturer approvals ends. I have driven the last years Continental ContiLegend white wall tires, which unfortunately are not registered in my papers. In my 28 year old papers – two different tire types are registered with me: – Dunlop D402 F Touring Elite II – Metzeler ME 88 Marathon Ok, the Dunlop flaps still exist in exactly this name. h replaces the Metzeler ME 888 Marathon. Do I simply smell this successor tire, or do I have to register it? Speaking of registration. How does this work? Do I just drive to the TÜV with freshly assembled tyres from other manufacturers and they enter this in my papers and give me permission to do so? If so, what does the fun cost about? Fun on the edge: Who knows the company Bunlop? [see picture] 🙂 Thank you in advance for your efforts!

Heulton after changing brake pads
Hello friends, after changing the brake pads, front, the brake swings up to a high frequency when braking. It sounds like an organ pipe – also so loud. the whole stem hums. Before the change everything was OK. Did one of you ever have this and know remedy? The facts: – Deuce 2006 – Brembo with the bean-shaped sheet metal logo – Einscheiben – 4-piston with DOT5 – SBS pads – Brake disc is 1 year old and runs round – Antiquiet paste (blue) on backs, pens and By the way: Is the rule true… ?: – Plate with angular cam > to the outside – rounded sides of the pads in the outlet direction of the brake disc – see attached drawing If so – the pads do not go into the brake shoe. The cams hit the rear edges of the housing and the pads can not be pressed in so far that the holes for the pin screws come on top of each other. I am perplexed.

The “old” models from Smokey and the Bandit (1970-1981) also alternatively 1982-1990 now, what do you have to pay attention to when buying such a vehicle? Where are the really critical ones?Weaknesses? doesn’t want to buy anyone with the anger pre-programmed. Does anyone know where to get such an exemplar from?

Automatic gearbox for stop and go or traffic lights or traffic jam
Moin moin, I would be very interested in how you all deal with your automtic gear when you meet the above-mentioned situation(s). Do you basically leave the “D” level in it, no matter how long you have to wait for green, for example? Or do you go to “N” – idle level and only insert a driving level again when it goes on at some point? Is it helpful for the vehicle to “rest” with idle, or do not always do a favour to the gearbox at all times. only in order not to have to stand constantly on the brake pedal? Thank you in advance for your answers!

Who has the seats in denim beige?
Hello together, has someone ordered an up! with this interior or already in use? I could not see this variant in any exhibition yet. Is the cover very sensitive?

It’s not really about driving in…
Hello together, As already announced in the http://www.motor-talk.de/…/…iguration-und-delivery-t3554859.html I have a question. That’s why I have to pick up my up! In my “holiday” or only then I would like to have time directly from WOB to the Salzburg area. Do you think it is healthy for the engine (taking into account the “drive-in guide” of VW on the first day about 900 km to drive? Alternatively, I would only drive to Frankfurt (about 370 km) and then the next day c a. 650km. Is that too much load on the up! engine within one or 2 days in the drive-in phase or just for that reason good? Please note that I am only concerned with the load on the up! engine. I assume that there will be some discussions because of the sense of the drive-in and not drive-in which are probably unavoidable in the context (don’t know me so well anyway), but I doubt that in one of the numerous discussions it will be at MT about this topic And when you are about to enter, you are right. Thank you all and greet you all.

L-S Car-Tec conversion Gt28RS
Servus, someone has experienced this stage, the price is really cheap compared to the big tuners like MTM, Oettinger,Hohenester etc. The kit is supposed to bring 350 hp and costs about 4000 euros without installation. Does anyone know that?

Questions about 9-3 Viggen
Hello, have seen a Saab 9-3 that has aroused my interest in this car. So I have a few questions about the 9-3 Viggen, which experts can answer here safely quickly and easily. First of all, thank you so much. Did the Viggens only exist in certain colors? Or otherwise: Were there colors in which only the Viggen was available? I think of a striking blue, it could have been lightning blue. By what external characteristics does the Viggen differ from an Aero, which There are still differences? What about the Viggen S on it? What makes it different from a normal Viggen? Finally, the question about the 9-3 Troll: Is it a performance-enhancing variant of the Viggen? What are the distinguishing features (technically/optically) there?
