  • Qualities of choice

    Hello together, we would like to put a TTR. We do not know which: either the 3.2 with DSG or the 1.8T with 165KW. The 3.2 would cost about 51T€ and the 1.8 approx. 47-48T€. At the WE we had the 1.8 and I have to say that the engine was also not bad On the one hand I would like to make it even deeper and other rims on it, therefore also do not know which equipment I should take. Am at the consider whether the 1.8 and then still a bit discreet chip If the 1.8er does not need as much fuel as the big one, insurance is certainly a bit cheaper.     Hello MT municipality, I just came home and read the newsletter of MT. It contains a new section called “actions” The first action now starts directly with motorcheckup, which can be obtained here cheaply. Now surely some will say that MT exaggerates the advertising. Only recently the large ad with the insurance, where there was already isolated protest. Recently the protest about spam-like mails because of alleged Golf VI advertising. Now again concretely a product is in the front rgrund and it will sound right again, that advertising came by mail. But I don’t want to complain about it here. I say that here has been addressed to user requests. So what has happened is what users want. Concretely HERE It’s great when MT implements proposals. That’s what I wanted to say.   • Car bought by a US soldier in D

    Hello guys, I really need your advice. I bought a BMW e39 on ebay on 8.12.2015. Now it’s the case that the vehicle has driven a US soldier stationed in D here. They have somehow different registrations here. This US soldier has now sold the vehicle to the person I bought it from. A purchase contract and a disposal permit from the US soldier is also available the vehicle from where I bought it was customs dutyed. So I bought it. After the purchase all these documents got handed out. Now I presented the vehicle to the TÜV and almost passed it (due to the rear integral driver to the right failed). He told me that he can make the TÜV without any problems but at the latest at the registration problems will get because the first registration of the car is unknown. (No letter and no vehicle license available) The US soldier also bought the car used here in Germany. Is a European model no US import. Now my question how do I get the first registration for my car? I am grateful for every answer! MfG

    Evening together, I will be eighteen in about 2 months and wanted to look around so slowly for a car. I will have my driver’s license until then and have already informed myself a little bit about cars, but otherwise I am rather a lay car opposite.   • Compact car searched, 25k km a year, 6-7k€

    Hey guys, I need your help now too. I’m looking for a compact car for the way to work. One route is 40km, of which about 50% is motorway and 50% is highway. The car is practically only used for the way to work and maybe for shopping or something. So would appreciate the annual driving performance at about 25k km. I don’t care if it’s a diesel or petrol, it’s all about having as cheap a cost as possible. So here’s my requirements in the K urzform: – compact car (thought so to the golf class) – 6-7k Euro purchase price (if there is something super great for 8k, that would be ok, in principle cheaper but of course better) – age I thought so about ~5 years, but is also not carved in stone, is mainly about that the car is reliable, not too expensive and also lasts a few years – 25k km a year (of which an estimated 10k highway, 10k highway and 5k mixed city/country/motorway or so) – about 100 HP ( whether it’s 90 or 116 is not sooo decisive, just nothing with 60 hp and nothing with 150+hp) – reliable – as low as possible total costs (i.e. purchase price and annual costs for fuel/tax/insurance) – diesel or gasoline both possible, depending on what is cheaper in the specific case What would you recommend to me? I’m not a car romantic, so it’s really only about a solid car with reasonable costs. Look and name are not so important to me either.   • Later installation of storage tray

    I ordered my EQE without the storage tray under the center console, because ordering along would have meant that I would have had to choose a package that cost more than 14,000 €, which I did not want. However, since the storage tray is very practical, I ordered it as an accessory and now questions about the installation. Certainly none of you know exactly with such a detail, but nevertheless the following questions (see also pictures): 1.) The storage tray has at the head side (i.e. in driving direction) 2 As I can’t imagine that for configurations without a storage tray the constructions under the carpet cover are made differently, I think that even with my car under the teppisch there are somewhere the openings for the folding, so that I only have to cut the teppisch. Question: can this be, or do you think that the substructure could look different with me, so without the folding openings? When I feel the carpet I can each 2.) The same applies to the underside (see picture), because there is a protruding nose and 2 screw extinguishers in it. During the visit to the factory last week in Bremen, i.e. before the pick-up of the car, I could only look briefly into the interiors of EQE and EQS which passed by me on the prefabricated conveyor belt, but unfortunately in terms of fixing the storage tray could not detect anything. to remove the pin and simply screw the shell down and forward, but that should only be the last option.   • Priority for traffic sign recognition?

    Why does the permitted speed in the navigator proceed in front of the permissible speed detected by the camera? Within the village (50km/h) the permissible speed on a federal road has been increased to 70km/h in several places. In Würzburg I have the “problem” that above the place sign a limitation is mounted to 60km/h. There the sign is not displayed and the vehicle shows further 100km/h. What indicates, It would make sense that the camera has priority, then both cases would be solved correctly, wouldn’t it?
