  • Usury price or false idea??

    Hello together, since we are about to change our main car, we also want to change our second car at the same time. It is to become a smart, a diesel. The list price is about 14500€ gross. As leasing rate (36 months with 30000km/year) our smart dealer offered us 187€ gross at 250€ gross deposit. When I heard this I was really shocked about the amount of the rate! I had previously assumed the same rate during my planning but WITHOUT down payment . How do you rate this offer? Is the offer really so bad, or are my prices just completely unrealistic?   • Water in the interior

    Hello everyone, I now discover every day a different problem…… :-/ I wondered why the Smart has been so busy lately. I took a closer look at the one before and raised the carpet. And look there….. The foam was soaked with water. It can’t come out of the trunk, or from the side windows. The trunk is dry. The side windows were leaking, but they had them sealed. Someone had a hard time. Idea where the water could come from?? Then I guess you’ll have to drive to dry out……. Has someone had good experiences with something like this in the HH room and can recommend something to me??? Cost, etc.??? Nice WE to all Agnes.

  • Power sources for DSP amplifiers at the Mini Clubman

    In addition to the W206 forum, I am also at home in the mini forum on Motor-Talk. 🙂 In a few weeks, my better half will get their Cooper Clubman from 2020. Since the car only has the standard sound system, something stronger has to be done. I have planned the system as far as possible, but I hope to get some tips about the power sources. In addition to the usual safety box in the engine compartment, I still have the one behind the glove compartment. Are there any other boxes or power distributors where I can tap the current for the amplifier (desirable value in the trunk)? _____ In case you are interested in what I want to install, here is a brief description of my project: Centrally the new sound system is to be controlled by a Match Up 8 DSP. The signals for front/rear channels are picked up directly on the radio. This is done by a quadlock on ISO T adapter and the ISO connection cable of the verse In addition to new Koax speakers in the front doors, the car gets new 2-Ohm underseat woofers, which are actively driven. Accordingly, they are separated from the original wire harness and equipped with a sparate wiring from the amplifier. The old cables are still used to fire the door speakers, since they switch in parallel in the origin. Matching sockets for bridge are already available. Thus, the system is operated over 6 channels. We’re in Cologne!

  • Weakness of approach / Second of thought

    Hello. I don’t have to specify a car brand now. I’ve been desperately looking for someone in various forums for weeks who has found a solution for the lack of access or even a second of thought – independently of the car brand there is this topic, but apparently nobody has a solution. 90% of all drivers (who have already answered on other in forums) apparently don’t mind – I belong to the 10% And it only happens maybe once per 50 car rides – you don’t drive like the full-blown through the city traffic and not every traffic light is an invitation to DragRace. But there are situations that I want, or I have to react and/or quickly start driving. Examples: – “Town highway” three-lane, speed limit 60km/h, you drive up in the middle lane to the traffic jam and come to the stand, left lane goes off, and gets free, in the side mirror a vehicle comes about 40m away, turn signals out, give gas, want to quickly get to the left – but the car doesn’t start fast – it doesn’t start at all – after a second, because in the panic the accelerator pedal has already been pushed quite deeply it starts with a set – but the coming vehicle has already driven 20m in a second and now it gets quite tight and I take the other vehicle priority – I don’t think so – I hate people who do this with me… But there are countless examples of other car driving in all possible situations like Kreisverkehr, from a side road, from a parking space, etc… with all possible car brands with automatic gearboxes, whether DKG or converter. Is there already a solution? – And please no answers as with me not – ok, then you belong to the 90% – or, my Porsche does not have it – yes, my Porsche does not have it either, my jeep did not have it, I never had it with a vehicle – but the Mini has this “thinking second”. Is it because of the electronics? At the gearbox?   • 7 years of service life: Gilera Runner 50 starts very bad or not at all

    Hello guys, sorry, this is probably the 9347 thread on the topic, but it is always individual again. So: my runner 50 C14 BJ 1998 doesn’t start with the kick starter, no matter how long and intense I step (the battery is empty and thus the electric start is not possible). The scooter stood about 7 years. I managed to start it with a pinch of brake cleaner in the air filter box, however the next attempt hit a few minutes later (without brake pure). My plan: clean carburettor. Makes sense at all, because the scooter was running with the help of the brake cleaner before?! What else could you do good for an old scooter? My plan was: -new brake pads front -new brake fluid -new oil fill in -new air filter -motul fuel system cleaner fill (unnecessary?) -possibly change coolant -possibly new spark plug -possibly a new carburettor, if everything does not help (costs at Ebay only about 30€) -Tires are from 2005 :// Anything else? I would like to make the scooter again with relatively little money and effort. Thanks for your help !

  • How do you usually pay for a new car at the dealership?

    Hello, soon my new one comes. Now I ask myself, how do I pay with the least risk. I transfer, dealer sends me the letter to register and I pick up the car afterwards.   • Rear left door can not be opened at Kia Sportage

    Hi, need your professional support. Our daughter drives a Kia Sportage 1.6 GDI Built. 2015 On the vehicle the rear left door can no longer be opened.   • Sportage NQ5 Year of construction 2023/10 Hybrid 230 HP do not start

    Hello, my sportage has been in the workshop for 4 months and find no fault. Errors are engine management, all assistant distance brake assistant airbag and battery with red symbol and the app and with red exclamation mark. When error erasure it goes again 2 days then he starts from now on no more. 6x was already ADAC since 2x of it would be dragged Fzg into the workshop.   • Omega 2.0-16V, V6 or an MV6??

    Hello dear ones, I play an Omega with the thought of putting me. My savings feeling tells me that I should take a 2.0 16V. I just don’t know if the 136hp and the 2l are not too weak for the mass car and man who is there. So rather a V6 or a MV6??!!!?? MV6 I think by consumption is damn expensive. But the fun would be worth it to me. Must the woman just eat less, which wanted to lose anyway! What worries me that the MV6 apparently I already know this from my old VW Passat VR6, which was also a dime grave. Therefore the thought would only be between a V6 or nem 16V.   • ATU – crazy tires – need advice

    ATU – crazy tires – need advice Hello! I’m new here and hope maybe someone can give me some advice. I was at ATU in Gera in June to change my timing belt (+ the free check for brakes and chassis). Then a staff member called me at home and told me that something was wrong with the track at the front. The track rod head at the front left has to be renewed. So what must be. After that there was a measurement protocol ..all iO.! Previously 0.36 after 0.0 6. Until that time I never had the problem of one-sided tire wear!! Last week I took off the summer tires, and got the shock completely. The left rear tire is completely flat in the outer third. The wire comes out already. What could have happened. I to ATU in Hagen (here I live). Again protocol, graciously at the expense of the house. This time back 0.45 (Lt Gera before -0.18 after 0.12). How can that be? In 5 months tire flat though reported Atu has offered me 30 percent on new tires. That’s a laugh. I have to buy 2 new tires. And I should also have the rear track bar changed. And the best thing is, it should be so rusty at the back to the right that they could only adjust it from 0.33 to 0.18 and not to max. 0.15. Only funny 5 months ago it was not rusty because they allegedly corrected the value from -0.27 to 0.09. I didn’t have an accident and I don’t take curbs with me either. I drove 7000 km in time. Who knows about it. What happened or didn’t happen at ATU??? Atu says the protocol from Gera was fine. Basta! What about my guarantee? How should I prove the ATU mess?
