I am still thinking of buying a nice R129 – had a SL280 (1996 year of construction)…he would be a pure hobby / weekend car for nice days and no everyday use. I have to say that I (still) live in Dubai, and the SL in any case for a (very) long time – so also again in D, should stay in the fleet. Here are now two available, which I like both quite well – which is probably the better choice here (same condition and condition). d same purchase price accepted): A) SL320 from 1998 (still with the M104 R6 engine) – 126.000km, very well maintained with documents including purchase invoice etc. – smoky metallic, inside safran/java (264A) with dark brown softtop – panoramic roof, xenon – otherwise no superior equipment B) SL500 from 2001 (one of the last, more details – whether special model still unclear) – 105,000km – silver metallic, inside gray seats and cockpit, cover rack, overroll jacks are red / red – AMG package, X enon – other equipment unknown (I don’t have the VIN yet) The 500’s naturally appeals to engine technology, whereby I think the 320 is sufficient (it’s either way not a sports car), color combinations please me both, the panoramic roof is a big plus point from the first, the AMG package a smaller plus point from the second … which therefore take into the short choice?!

Collision with a “UFO”
Hello, I had a collision with a UFO ((U)nknown (F)lug (O)bjekt ) on the highway today at 130 km/h. The bonnet was deformed, on the right headlight the mounts were broken and the windshield (not broken or so, but it is very strong around the windshield)(was just 3 hours old!!!!) damaged. According to the police it is supposed to be a bird of prey. Part cascade I have. I also got a wild damage sheet from the Police. I also informed the insurance company that I had a collision with a bird of prey, which they meant sending an expert. Now my question: Does my insurance pay for such damage?? How is the turbo controlled?
Hi, I’d like to know if anyone knows how the turbo is controlled by the 2.5TD, and that’s the one tube that’s attached to the engine at the top and a tube that points down. Where the tube leads I don’t know. That’s why my question would be whether these two connections lead to oil. I have four models of the EQB to choose from: EQB 250, EQB 250+, EQB 300 4MATIC and EQB 350 4MATIC. My main goal is to reach the maximum range, and according to the manufacturer, the EQB 250+ offers the highest range. EQE – High beam cannot be switched on
Hello together, maybe someone can help me here briefly or give me a tip: With my EQE I could not turn on the main light this morning on the way to the office. I could activate the automatic, but the car simply did not turn on the main light. I drove out of town and of course fast enough for an activation. Also trying to test the light horn failed. I didn’t get any error message, for example, that the main light assistant straight e is disturbed. Maybe someone from you has had this problem before and a tip for me.

Wrong location in Mercedes Me App
Yesterday I was travelling in a big city and then drove home 30km. The EQE was parked in the garage where it is still standing. In the Mercedes Me app the current location of the vehicle is still displayed in the big city where I had parked yesterday. Does someone know what this may be, why the current location in the Me is displayed incorrectly.

EQE – No more camera image
Since yesterday my camera image has failed. No camera setting works anymore. Both in reverse, GPS as well as the manual key function. If I press the key function below the central monitor, the light of the surrounding ambilight strip will go out briefly. Had used the trailer coupling shortly before and then drove in again. Then much to me that the cameras will not bring any more picture. I have now put the vehicle in the garage and locked it. Let’s see if what b Has anyone ever had such a malfunction?

Noise electric parking brake
Dear community, I took over an EQE300 as a young star a few weeks ago. Built 09 2023, mileage 3300 km. The car is as good as new and I’m very satisfied. Visually new and no problems or noticeable defects. What I notice, however, is that especially the release of the parking brake, a very loud squeaking, creates clamping noise. Hard to describe, however, sounds like a rusted parking brake is solved by force or by the accelerator pedal. With me, however, not the case. When driving with the cruise control and stop on go, the parking brake will only be active for a short time and every time the noise will be released. Didn’t I notice that during the test drive with other Eqe vehicles. Did anyone experience or know about you? Is this a lack that can be solved on guarantee? Has there been a problem since the day of the takeover ?
