  • Wheel change at Mercedes – Experiences

On a given occasion, how are your experiences to be changed wheels at MB Berlin? In Stuttgart, there is the fair fixed price of 39 Euro (A-E, SLK)http://…mercedes-benz-stuttgart.de/…/…sel-raederinstocking.html In Berlin, an A class of 80 Euro (!) plus 30 Euro is required for wheel size >= 17 Inch

  • Unbalance

Hello dear R-community, when I leave in the morning, I reach the highway after about 3 minutes. There I notice an imbalance in the wheels at speed 120 km/h. Can happen! After a few minutes driving time the imbalance disappears. Now my MB dealer has already re-examined the (winter) wheels, yet it still persists. Do you think it is realistic that the imbalance is caused by the high vehicle weight when the car has stood all night? My car p My vehicle: R 350 CDI Lang 4Matic with all extras (weight!) My tyres: 255er Conti Winter 19 inch original from Mercedes. Thank you & Best regards Schwabe550

  • Keyless Go

One more thing I would have. Topic Keyless Go. My said R320 CDI also has this feature, but with the drawback that it works with all doors except the driver’s door. My dealer has changed the door handle before, but this was not the problem. Did someone have to have the same experience? What was wrong with you? My confidant said that it might be the cable harness in the driver’s door or the lock. It is however that if I had a working Keyless Go T open and close, the driver’s door also opens and closes. Only the operation of the Keyless Go is not possible. Please ask for useful information to me (“as Konrad Tönz said at XY reference number”).

  • Why not advertisement? What kind of sales strategy?

Because of the poor sales figures, Mercedes carries out a new and comprehensive facelift with the R-Class (which in my view has also succeeded) and it is not operated on the in-house homepage or anywhere in the media advertising for the “new model”. And whether it is really advantageous that the manufacturer now specifies in the configurator which models are available with 4 Matic drive and which are not resp. which models with short and which available with long wheelbase In front of the facelift, I was still free to choose the respective motorization with the respective wheelbase (short/long) and the respective drive (4 Matic/Heckdrive). At least as far as these aspects are concerned, everything was not necessarily worse with the predecessor model. Let’s hope that the R-Class will not finally become a “swaving stroke” due to this well thought-out sales strategy or that the manufacturer here still improved. beebymurphy

  • Auris – Fuel consumption

Hello, the following problem: I have been driving a Toyota Auris 1.4 D-4D (90hp, automatic, 6speed) fresh out of the factory since mid-October. I filled it up completely normally and have been traveling with the consumption all the time according to the board computer at 4.8l/100km. When refueling it turned out that it consumed 5,3l. I have not yet thought so much, do not really know me with cars and thought that he just needed more at first. Why ever. The second tank filling is ready for the end, the board computer has been at 4.7l/100km for a good 300km, but when I set up the final calculation will result in 5,1l, rather 5,2l. What’s this about? It can’t be that there is a half litre missing every time on 100km. But first wanted to ask here if something like this is normal before I go to my workshop. By the way, I have the Toyota Verso (the predecessor of the currently released version), although petroler, also automatic, there is a lack of d at times about a tenth. But that was never more in all the 2 years. Also not at first, had it also fresh from the work. Thank you for information, Stefan

  • GP at the Nürburgring

Moin moin! Now it’s time again … the next GP is coming. The Nürburgring course will allow much more overtaking and all signs point to an exciting race. The Ferrari managers (including drivers) seem to be sure that Imola was not a short straw fire … Some teams report significant progress after the previous tests … Renault is always confident of winning … I am looking forward to an (hopefully) exciting race 🙂 and maybe the change will take place I would like to say a word about the Eifelwetter … Greeting Stefan

  • Has Ferrari caused victory in Imola???

I always thought that “The driver of Ferrari”, that is to say the exile German, who doesn’t want to pay taxes, is just baffling the Siegr—> Therefore, I call him just cheating!!! But now there seems to be evidence… http://sport.rtl.de/formula-1/formula1_65477.php Check out…

  • Formula 1 car without regulations

Okay, one thing in advance – I’m not an F1 expert. But every time I read about all the regulations regarding the cars, I wonder what a Formula 1 car would look like that wouldn’t be subject to any regulation at all…what would it look like? What kind of engine would it have? Nen 2 liters turbo with 2000 hp or something? What would the car look like on the outside? How wide would you make the car? I know, it’s a far from reality spinning, would still interest me…

  • Various questions about Clio 4

Hello dear Clio friends after I was very happy with my Clio 3, it is time for me to get something new. I was thinking about a Renault Clio TCe 120 Limited de Luxe EDC. I have looked at the price list and the features and have a few questions about it … Can the MediaNav Evolution be replaced with the above-mentioned equipment? Lt price list obviously not possible. I’m mainly concerned about the TomTom cards, which I bish It seems that NavTeq cards are pre-installed at MediaNav and I don’t know if I like them. So I’d rather be on no. The other question concerns the seat heating (driver’s seat). Unfortunately, this is not included in the package at a Limited de Luxe EDC and is obviously not offered. Is there a seat heating suitable for Renault Clio, which you can recommend to me? I think of something where the installation is not very expensive / expensive. Hoff e, I can help myself and would like to thank you very much for your suggestions in advance
