The temperatures are going up again , There must be another logic with the treasure ice ! meanwhile I doubt the temperature display in the instrument strongly . there are deviations of 10 degrees normal . also the display in the MSTG read out is not exactly the climax , especially if the cooling water temperature sensor is as old as the vehicle ! This sensor’s probe pin sets off a `defeat’ , which influences the evaluation of the temperature . partly the old 2 pole SEnsor for the MSTG only reacts after delay and that can be up to 25 seconds (finger sample ) . moreover these sensors become very sluggish and the display in the instrument, reacts even with delay , up to 20 seconds ( According to decade ) . the lot of water must be refilled by leaks , which also gets a lot of oxygen into the cooling water r and damt `Blüht` der Kühlwasserkreis auf ! I had once made a resistance decade to the sensor grip of the 1-pole sensor for the display in the instrument to see how `exactly` the treasure ice in the instrument is, terrifying ! actually this could every here time itself try , which has a decade ( about 6 Euro ) and a good access to this sensor . e.g.http://www.pollin.de/…/resistance decade_5_1_M_.html with the decade you can also test other things e.g. tank display . man k ann of course also with the upper thermoswitch on the cooler , (because of the better access ) its large fan a little hairdress ! for cooperation is asked ! mfg

Omega B – X30XE – Is the installation of an additional oil cooler from Cadillac Catera useful..?
At the current increasing local temperatures and the already existing heat problem due to restricted space conditions in the engine compartment of the stronger Omega B models, I wonder if it makes sense to use the oil coolers installed in the warmer areas of the USA in the Cadillac Catera also in this country. I think it won’t hurt. What do you think about it? Dietmar

Hello, Porsche actually says that the Active Ride chassis is intended for all four-wheel versions of the Taycan. However, it is not configurable for the Taycan 4 Sport Limousine. Does anyone know what this is about? And when this should come? Thank you!

Taycan FL series battery vs. performance battery Plus recuperation
Hello, I couldn’t find a clear answer either at Porsche or in the official press releases and hope that someone here knows more. The new performance battery in the FL model is completely different chemically from that of the pre-FL. I would be interested: Is the FL serial battery simply the battery from the pre-FL or is it a similar version of the FL performance battery Plus with lower capacity? What makes me stutzig: The weight underlay d between the two FL batteries is just 5 kg. The higher range and extra power are not decisive for me, but the FL performance battery Plus can recuperate with up to 400 kW instead of 300kW when braking. Can the FL serial battery also? Taycan FL calculated charging end during AC charging
A question to the Taycan drivers: Is it also the case with you that at the beginning the end of the charging shows much later than it has to be after the charging quantity? This is usually corrected down, but I don’t know that from my other BEVs, that’s quite true from the beginning. I plugged in at 60% today and entered 85% as the charging target. Currently (10.25 o’clock) it shows me a charging level of 63% and the charging target reached at 14.03 o’clock. So there are 22% SOCs missing, which then make up 23.1 kWh in relation to the gross capacity of 105 kWh. Even if you add 10% charging losses, that would be only 25.4 kWh, which would have to be inside in 2.5 hours with a charging power of 10.2 kW. So the charging target would be reached at 12.55 o’clock at the latest and thus more than 1 hour earlier than the indicated time of 14.03.

System errors no operation possible
After I wanted to make my EOS spring ready today, I noticed light rust on the left roof at the front of the transition to the window frame. So I opened the roof half-opened and first worked the place with a rust release so that I can bring the paint in the next few days. The roof then slipped by itself (as intended) after some time forward. I then opened the roof again electrically and probably made a stupid mistake. t goes on the rubber seal of the window frame, I put some kitchen crepe between Holm and seal before the final closing. Then I closed the roof. That’s it, apparently the crepe slipped unfortunately into the locking hook. In the later attempt to open it again came the message system error, cover operation not possible. I also noticed that the rear window can be slightly pushed up to the left. Apparently not locked. On the right it is fixed. le front in the Dachholm is closed, but you can see that there is something in between from the crepe. would it be possible that the reverberator is disturbed by this? I know that many expert members read here and hope someone has an idea, otherwise probably only the friendly one remains…… Thanks! Smaxx

Hello! Would have a question for you! When clearing out an old garage, I found a gearbox (it seems to be still fit) of a Ford. I can’t assign it to a Ford model because there’s nothing on it except the gearbox number. Is it possible to find out the Ford model that fits this gearbox due to the gearbox number? Are there any possibilities or do I have to drive the gearbox into the Recylinghof? Would it be a pity because it still seems fine. Any of you give me a tip? Thank you! LG Kitcat

Mustang GT
Hello, I will probably separate myself from my BMW in the foreseeable future. Now I play with the thought to get an Ami, I fluctuate between the Mustang GT, the Dodge Charger or if n Kombi becomes which is rather improbable but Magnum or Chrysler 300C. But now the Mustang as a sportsman and the Charger as a sports limo have moved into the narrower field of view. I am already aware of the kick-off costs, I do not calculate with dream values of 12l with quiet driving because i It would possibly become a new vehicle depending on the price situation, but is still open. Are here possibly even Mustang drivers represented who can say times more about insurance etc., respectively about driving behavior etc of the Mustang ? I am actually still Jungfrau as far as US Cars is concerned and am grateful for every tip on the topic. What I know so far with new imports often underbody protection and cavity sealing have to be resealed and they must be approved for German traffic I was with an importer today who took over the import, or have already imported and approved in the exhibition room and have punched it a bit.

Seat heating, leather
Hello have a little problem 🙁 And indeed I have changed my beautiful fabric seats for leather seats with seat heating everything nice and good.But unfortunately the heater does not sit at both front, because sitting was a plug on it the with me not paste so I changed it from my old seats, it comes to stom but the seats do not get warm.Can one help me there much further??? MFG PS. I drive a 98 Opel Omega B 136ps
