  • ZRX or Cb

Hey guys, I’m planning to change to a real bike next year My FZS actually made me happy, but since the middle of the year I’ve been having some stupid problems, so I want to get rid of it and then find my luck with a new one. I often drive an XJR1300 and think that’s the category motorcycle that makes me happy! So, the ZRX1200 is on average a whole corner cheaper than the CB 1300 (this is only about used ones). Is there any significant changes at the end ? She has 122 hp throughout and can also be found with half-shell, feeled me! The CB1300 is only available since 2005 with half-shell and also with ABS, there were to the exclusively naked Vorgaenger models still any changes in the chassis etc.? I have to say, I like to drive sporty, but I don’t want by any means sone egg swing ala GSXR. Which of the two would come to meet me? Is it clear to me that such a BigBi ke does not drive overly, but especially with the CB1300 it is mentioned again and again that one does not feel the weight in driving operation. Ohso, and neither of the two machines has a main stand as standard or? A bandit does not come into question, if then the 1250, but that is outside my budget!

  • New helmet – should it be a folding helmet?

Hello together, I need a new helmet again. Actually, I find a folding helmet quite interesting – but I have always ridden integral helmets so far. Price is first of all incidental – during the rough browsing I came across the usual Schuberth C2 & C3 and the Shoei Multitec. At my present I have mounted a Cardo hands-free set – I think this will not fit with the C3 because of the sun blind operation. Can you tell me anything about the helmets or folding helmets in general? A ch yes – driving profile is rather toury to sporty, but may also go a little fast on the highway… Best regards Stefan

  • Purchase advice for beginners or re-enterers

Moin and Hi for the first time, am new here hope but that I am in the right area. And this season I finally have to get my first big mopped before me. To me: I am 20 years old and made my appearance in September 08. Since then, however, I have only sporadically driven the Enduro from the buddy. Before I had already two years my A1 and also a own machine which I sold when I was 18 again. Am also aside from the slope with a tuned 180er Ro But as I said, I’m almost in my Astra for almost two years. Now I love the KTM Super Duke, the Z1000 from Kawa or the CB1000R. So it’s supposed to go into the streetfighter area. However, I have to think about all these bikes because of the performance that is not to be despised. However, if I take more weary I’m afraid that I’ll get bored too quickly. I hope you can help me with your experience.

  • Allow motorcycle with season mark – when to use?

Helloa, it’s me again – I’ve been doing a lot of threads lately, because “fresh” motorcycle owners. However, meine Google-searching are not really fruitful, don’t blame me for the fact that I’m patching up the forum here… the following: I took out my insurance yesterday at the DEVK, i.a. also get this electronic confirmation number to allow. Now I want to let my motorcycle go, all documents with me and tell them that I have a season mark i need from March-November. Do I get my license plate right away or will it be sent to me later; if so, how long does it take? And: what does it look like with the desired license plate? Does this cost extra or does it take longer to produce? Greetings

  • Sounds funny but important!!!

Hey people, which socks do you wear in your motorcycle boots? at first moment the question seems stupid but you think: have boots for over 180€ with the very great “cool system” etc. but the whole thing doesn’t work if you put your feet in thick “cotton socks”!!! now say what you wear! –> but please no pictures of used socks! thank you and a good ride…

  • 100T km, carburettor membrane broken – what to do?

Hi, in advance: Two years ago, I got a Bandit 650SA with more than 100T km and probably put a pretty egg in my nest. To the background: The machine is currently in the workshop for carburettor cleaning, however, several things gradually turned out, so that I have interrupted the work now. In particular, the carburettor causes trouble: During the cleaning it turned out that the gas slide membranes are close to the Exitus. Since the Mech aniker suspected finding even more things due to running performance, he didn’t want to give me a price for the work, so I have interrupted the whole thing now – the narrow wallet needs planning security. Now I need advice on how to proceed: 1. Does anyone of you know if there are the gas slide membranes for the GSF650 (WVB5) individually / as a four-replacement – or only with pistons? Unfortunately I did not find any membranes as individual parts for the GSF 650, only for the GSF1000 od I found an original part number only for the part with pistons (4x:82 € = 320 €; 13500-31F00-000)http://www.bike-parts-suz.de/suzuki-recherche-bike-pieces_nn.php?… 2. Do you have an opinion on the purchase and installation of a used carburettor with low mileage? (part price < 300 €) Is this not recommended or not at all at all, what could be feared? 3. Is the investment still worth or is it to be feared that s the whole becomes a savings box that clearly exceeds the value of the machine (purchase price 2600 €)? Thank you very much for your feedback! VG Bandito

  • (Suzuki GS 500 E)

Hello everyone, am currently buying the GS 500 E from my cousin. Year of construction should be ’91 or ’92. Was today at the TÜV with the papers, since in the vehicle letter there is once a registration with 20 KW, one with 34 KW and a 25 KW, however all three are crossed out. In the field comments is now still a non-coated entry with 25 KW at 8000 upm. However, now the problem is that the motorcycle is open, so 34 KW has, but only the 25 KW one. I still have to say that the motorcycle has been registered since 2004. The good guys from the TÜV now said to me that I need to register the 34 KW, an expert report that they really have this performance, but they can’t tell me where I get it from. I hope you can help me now! Thank you!

  • First purchase : find the advice and experience of the old rabbits

Hello together, I’m new to this forum and I’m about to come up with an overwhelming question. I’m short, I’m from Hamburg, am 25 years old and drive a pretty golf V. I’ve had my motorcycle driver’s license since 2009 and I’ve been riding the Suzuki gsf 1250 for rent to this day. My experience now includes tours over 1- 1.5 weeks with over 1800km. However, I do only drive these few weeks a year, since I haven’t had a parking space for the machine so far. But finally there should be one of my own, but I am very overwhelmed with the selection. I love with the super athletes, which is not in question for me because of my size (1,86) and the preference for long distances. Now I have remained stuck with the sports tourists, but do not know what a “newbie” is the best. I can drive curves, but have nothing to do with the knee-grinding on the hat. But she may like to look sporty biting :P. I hope you can give me a good time to choose a geei gnet machine stand by the side and give me helpful tips. Thanks and greeting Basti

  • Search Info and parts for Nato version for Chevrolet k30 m1008

Hello, as already stated in the title I am looking for my ex army chevrolet k30 some NATO parts like the nato clutch. I don’t know exactly how this has to look because it has been removed by the previous owner. maybe someone still has a home he wants to get rid of. furthermore I am looking for the 4 LED camlights that are sunk in the bumper. maybe someone can explain the exact function to me. the switch is still available and the cables are still all available , the leds are only unfortunately all for the German road traffic unrepeatably out of operation. (are installed in the back of the led-camouflage light brake light and closing light? I see there I think 4 single leds in 1 led-camouflage light. why is in the rear led a yellow led and what color are the front leds?) then I need the load class sign or also called troop board. the round sign which sits at the front left of the car on the bumper. Can anyone say even more precisely? (what exactly does this sign say and how are the number combinations to be decrypted?) where we are currently deciding on the number code, can anyone tell me after which chema the numberoenkombination were arranged at the original us symbol? there are at the front and back of the vehicle 2 white fields each with a combination of numbers, according to which chema the numbers were created? the number belongs to the troop name or the jew hurried cash or are the numbers completely arbitrary? so as I said I would like to buy you the parts from which I am looking, please make me a price offer. friendly greetings from v8mauxy
