  • Astra F Cabrio 1.8 115 hp – no more power!!!!

    Hello everyone, have a big problem with my Opel Astra 1.8 (115 hp) year 95: for some time (about 3 – 5 months) he doesn’t pull right anymore, so he doesn’t bring any power on the road and accelerates like a small car with 60 hp. I really noticed this only recently, when I drove another car more often and noticed the difference in direct comparison. No matter from which speed range I want to accelerate, he simply does not transmit Leis I know that the car is relatively heavy and the EcoTec engines are not exactly the most powerful, but it can never be so extreme in life. Even if I pull it up (5,000 rpm to red range), I don’t notice any power surge – only the engine is getting louder and louder. The car is already a good two weeks in the workshop and they haven’t found a mistake yet (but they also confirm that something can’t be right!). nieur there, but he hasn’t found anything yet WHAT CAN THE BLOW BE???????   • Fox 06/2010…. is he a drunk?

    For a week I could enjoy this little bag, which was quite lushly equipped. Except for a climate everything was available, with a folding roof. Due to the folding roof, the wind noises were somewhat more audible than desired and the average consumption was over 1000Km at 7.4 liters (AB & Stadt). I had never before been interested in this model and I was finally torn back and forth. The tachometer unit looks optically cheap, but is surprisingly complex. the LED display in the dark, however, thanks to the switch to red, hardly decipherable. The steering looks spongy up to 30Km/h, the seats a little too soft in the side support. Nevertheless, the “little” felt rather agile and was amazingly spacious. A little more power, more cuddly in driving behaviour and more insulation material… I could be enthusiastic about it with a consumption of around 6 liters.

  • Rust on the Fox ?

    Hello dear Fox friends. During the spring cleaning I noticed my 3 years old Fox first rust base, at least I believe it looks like it. If you open the trunk and then the pressure pistons for the lid are attached to the C-pillar to the left and right. Follow the C columns to the top the corners where the columns and the roof converge. These connections are like the edges on the doors etc. first covered with some putty and then overpainted. At the places I have approx. 0.5 cm long cracks in the paint exactly in the area of the kitt. So on to the friendly which meant only quite cool that is not bad because the kitt is elastic and then the paint can tear by movement in the car. At my Ford Focus I also had these cracks after six years and a few months later masive rust under the kitt, which was therefore not seen. After about two years I then had a wet sky inside in rain – diagnosis: rusted through! Now i What do you think about it? Do your foxes have cracks at the places?   • Important software updates not findable!

    Hello together, I have the following problem: I had the last weeks increased the problem with failures of my assistance systems and above all drive loss with subsequent illumination of the engine control light. Appointment with the car dealer agreed – error memory read out – nothing out. Statement of the dealer: I have 3 software updates open, which could fix the problem and should do this first. Because for data protection reasons the car dealer does not have the right to do so. I don’t find these (OTC) software updates either in the infotainment system or in my CUPRA CONNECT app. I’m the main user, I set the CONNECT account and my settings to “Send Location” – In the settings of “Software Information” – “Updates” nothing pops up either. Unfortunately, I really don’t know how to install these important updates anymore. Maybe one of you has advice and can help me here, because I still have assistance failures and drive loss.
