  • Blinker Noise

Hello, I’m super satisfied with the little bit of thickness except for a few little things, but what really bugs me is the Blinker noise, or the sound, whatever you want to call it. Is that just the MY16, or am I just too sensitive? My friend said you couldn’t do anything. I can’t imagine that a Blinker is still running by relay in the present day and that it’s just a sound file with loudspeakers where the sound comes from. What is your experience? Greeting Flycatch

  • SL R129 24Ventiler Bj 91 does not start

Hello, My SL R129 suddenly went out and didn’t start again. Since I have my residence in Paris there are few experts here, especially for joungtimers. Therefore, please desperately for help. As I said, my SL jumped on quite normally and after a few meters it suddenly went dry (without stuttering). My diagnosis: 1. The battery is charged 2. The fuel pump works / The tank is full 3. The fuses are all in the shot, they were carefully tested 4. The ignition coil 5. The starter runs and – the engine turns 6. The distributor cap is clean, the distributor does and all contacts have been cleaned. THE FUNCTION DOES NOT COME HERE 7. The spark plugs are clean (new) and THE FUNCTION DOES NOT COME HERE ALSO 8. I also replaced the crankshaft sensor for suspicion against a new one. 9. The (originally retrofitted) immobilizer was completely removed 6 years ago. The price is to cry and before I spend it, I want to be sure that nothing else will come into my mind. Please ask for advice or help because I just can’t get any further here in France. Many thanks to the MB community. I would like to thank you very much for your help and advice.

  • Which rims on the SL R230 heavy birth result Daytona

Hello R230 Friends For 6 months now I have been hitting myself with the rims asking on the SL 500 around I had only 19 AMG then 20″ with falcons then again 18″ AMG because they seemed too hard for me and now I decided again for 20″ with Pirelli tires (I know this is crazy but I would have liked to have the summer companion for me perfect) 3 weeks ago I could shoot the 20″ daytona with steps lowbed and new Pirelli tires very cheaply and wanted the actually again against 1 9″ 3S Edition (with black inner star) changed you but on Thursday then first assembled and tested. I am very impressed because on the SL you seem simply different than on another (before CLS) but the first test drive then surprised me very much because the hardness of the previous 20″ was not to be felt any more. so I drove first to the tank to check the tyre pressure but that was OK it is apparently only the tires responsible. The Falken tire h art was already clear to me before but I wouldn’t have expected this huge difference to Pirelli. So I’ll put the lid on it on the rim search and keep this 20″ Daytona here a few pictures PS By the way, 10mm H & R track plates are installed here but a registration (if necessary individual acceptance) should not stand in the way

  • Is there an affordable and yet good OBD2 for the SL

Hello together, have problems with the power supply with my SL350 R230/Mopf 1 (2006). To read under: Board power problems: 9002 undervoltage KL15R/Kl15 at the R 230 At MB and Bosch various errors were read out (CAN / SAM /… Undervoltage Kl15R/15) of which I estimate the undervoltage error as a cause (EZS problem) After which the error only occurs when the friendly far away I wanted the error over an OBD dongle (HHOBD from EXZA) with Android SW “Carscanner” after The things are running but the EZS does not seem to be supported. I was probably a bit too blue-eyed. Question: – there are affordable OBDs that support almost everything also the EZS (e.g. iCarsoft MB II i980 or iCarsoft i980 or what from AUTEL) – would “OBD2 Shop” be a trustworthy supplier ? Greeting blueglider

  • Quality Battery charger Tarraco Hybrid

Moin, with my Tarraco Hybrid Bj 9/21 the cover of the battery charging flap has fallen off. Apparently two artificial openings just broke away during the frost. Over night the flap was open for charging, let itself be closed to the start of the journey even without pressure. To open the flap you have to press in always for a short time and then the gap goes up to open it, that was as always and suddenly the part falls off there. Without having pulled there somehow with force or something. In the game was and I have been driving cars with tank covers for 24 years, I push the whole thing to bad material choice in conjunction with a bad construction. In other words warranty case, car is 15 months old. The service consultant says of course force majeure because of the low temperatures. I find a sporty statement, it was this morning -2° C, what happens then in a real winter. As said with other cars I never had any problems there. The car has no problems with the temperatures. I’m a bit disappointed by the car now, especially the price/performance ratio. Do you have to live with this kind of life at Seat or is there something else because of warranty or coolness?

  • Would you let others ride your bike?

Hi guys, I’d like to know how you’re on the subject of “others driving your bike”. I know that there are certainly some here who would never let your beloved treasures drive by anyone other than themselves. Some people probably don’t even want to let the examiner drive during a main examination On the other hand, there are certainly some who are the exact opposite of this and would like to drive everything with two wheels, which they would like to drive under I just get my fingers to do the experience of another motorcycle or just try something new I also have an opinion, but it comes later; I want to hear uninformed opinions here So, what do you think about it? Would you let others drive with your moped and then be allowed to drive just that of the opposite? PS: Let’s ignore all boundary conditions such as insurance protection. Let’s assume once in a while, everything is tiptop v secure and no one must be afraid to stay on a damage in the end. Likewise, we leave ultrateure single pieces or irreplaceable conversions in front of us; no one would give this out of hand It’s just about our “normal” bikes. I’m already looking forward to your answers LG from Augsburg

  • Highway Pegs, are you allowed or not?

Yesterday and the day before yesterday I covered 2000 km. 25 hours apiece. Day and night. Ok, break every two hours. Nice weather finally paid off. The problem is that I am 2 meters tall and after two hours my legs hurt. Knees especially. They are just too bent. 2 hours goes great, everything afterwards… not so cozy. So I got a brilliant idea on the highway. Because I have to stretch my legs constantly (not only me, I also see other drivers doing this) I thought first of all to install crash bars so I can rest my legs. However, I’m not sure if I can put my legs like this. Then I thought that it’s expensive and why not just put on some kind of pole, it’s cheap and easy to install. I guess but that’s not quite legal. I don’t think it would be a problem, but if it’s illegal, it should be so. But I’ve seen so-called highway bars on the Internet, which exactly I’m still unsure if they’re legal.

  • Safety training for beginners?

Hello dear community, I am a fresh motorcycle newbie and have my A2 driver’s license is about 3 months. Since I know how dangerous it is to ride a motorcycle, I wanted to do a safety training in order to keep the maximum control in dangerous situations. Now I ask myself which training is best for beginners. I have a few kilometers on the hump for 3 months of riding practice (sometimes over 3000) but nothing the same despite I want to be on a stand However, I hear from friends and known different opinions about these trainings. Some say you should do a race training immediately, because the standard trainings are too lax and therefore thrown out money, other friends say the opposite. Now I ask you, which training you might have had good successes, good coaches had the right experience etc. Live yourself in the area Bonn/Cologne, maybe you even have good tips for the region? I don’t drive a race track but a bmw r1200r (nakedcruiser) to 48 ps and don’t drive risky. I didn’t set a price limit for a training now, my life is worth every saved cent. Thanks for your support Lg Lukas

  • GPZ 900 R brake caliper attachment screw torn off

Hello, now the season 2012 is at the door and I still haven’t found a solution for my torn-off brake caliper attachment screw. This is the thing that is mounted next to the rear brake caliper on the swingarm. A countered screw that allows the saddle to move after its release (at least :-)). Please no question “how can you tear it down” – that’s what my “high-performance dealer” asked – and I drove right away from the yard. a combination of “non-solved for years”, a “10 nut on small HAZET gun” and “Japanese banana steel”. Someone has an idea how to get the thread out (i.e. former screw, but now without head). OK, expand the swingarm and drill it out is clear – only very laborious for a screw that I have not yet had to solve. Thank you!
