    Hi guys Got question and problem, maybe someone can give us tips. Vehicle SL500 6.0 Bj.91 129 0661F005606. right in the engine compartment, under the cover are two controllers installed. The units look identical, are plugged in one after the other. Not every SL seems to have installed these controllers, also have a Bj.90 without them. So, now to my problem: with a controller a PIN is broken. If it is replaced, it can be repaired. And basically for understanding s and interest, what do these controllers serve?? The car has a problem – starts well, but engine runs completely restless as if petrol control is defective. Had bought suuper soft with short fingers at C& A 100 years ago which are long worn. Search short beige leather gloves, black look to me to look for Domina……….. but find neither in the auction house nor at Goog… which?   • Dension GW51MO2 in the SL year 2007

    Hello together, this time not a question, but feedback in the forum for those, you maybe deal with the topic MP3 in the SL and fall into the vintage, where the COMAND is not easily extended by a corresponding connection. Last week my SL (built in 2007) drives now with a Dension Gateway 500 (GW51MO2) and I am highly enthusiastic. The quality is good, the operation so far not too complicated – measured by the fact that this with the COMAND Not all the secrets in the service are still open to me, but I hope that’s still coming. After a few posts here in the forum I decided to take this step, also because my CD changer with the 99 titles per CD and a not really problem-resistant read-in behavior of the burned MP3 CDs didn’t come to the wisdom last conclusion. The Dension came from eBay and I have to say, rarely on eBay I have such a high degree of editing During the purchase process I was offered a lot of accessories, I also decided on the USB power booster (UPB1000). After less than a week the device was there (it is fast for shipping to Switzerland). With the device I turned to a local Mercedes workshop. Even if the installation is certainly not too big, I was able to get a lot of help from the manufacturer. bleme for skilled hobbyists and professionals, I decided some time ago that my screwdriver days had ended. Nevertheless, I had been busy with the matter before and I was able to deal with the electricians of Mercedes in detail about the installation. The device was installed as mentioned here in the forum invisibly near the CD changer behind the driver’s seat. The switch between CD changer and the Dension plus the hera The USB port is located in the storage compartment next to the CD changer, because I don’t need it very often, I wanted to get these connections out of the way. The iPod port is located in the lower compartment of the middle armrest, at the very right front the holder and a maximum cable piece in this compartment, so that I can also take the iPod out of the holder in the hand to operate it. As iPod I use an iPod Classic with 160 GB memory, so not only all of my CDs have At the moment there are about 600 CDs on the device, which should also be enough for longer holidays. When picking up the vehicle, the dension was still at factory setting, although the master bravely worked into the operation, but without text support the operation is more than meager. Thanks to preparation I knew about the necessity of this setting, after a few runs with the switch (from the switched on state) -from the point of view of the Dension- start and then from, On, On, On, Off, On) came the menu, I followed the recommendation from the manual and switched on text and paging support. Thus the operation was greatly simplified. At this point it can be noted that the manuals are quite Murks, I then disposed of the German manual directly, but also the English reading is not very transparent. Instead of the 6 CDs you can now find menus for controlling the Device. For example, you have a list of performers or a list of CDs there are also some extended possibilities. I am currently using the setting “play everything without certain order” and sometimes wonder what songs I call my own. In doing so, the dension gets along well with the amount of songs, my fears about this have not been fulfilled. Nevertheless, the navigation through the CDs is quite resinous, I have found no way in which To jump interpreter list to a certain initial letter, so that the operation at this point becomes quite troublesome, this also applies to the other lists. Today I have added some intelligent playlists to my iPod via iTunes, tonight I test whether this works. In the playback title and interpreter are shown, that’s not much, but it has to be enough. The iPod is also loaded (you should note the compatibility tables of the Dension) u The sound quality is good, the operation via the COMAND is a little limited, but sufficient. Price-wise you have to take some money in your hand, the dension itself, the iPod and the installation is not quite so cheap, with the eBay solution at the dension itself and instead of an iPod touch I am the iPod Classic within my Limi of course a USB hard drive could be connected, but the extra charge for the Ipod was worth it.     Hello dear SL municipality….. normal white I drive a w211 320V6 Cdi and a w124 e 320 c…and I am also highly satisfied with the two….but this week I have to drive the sl65 of a friend, because this is on vacation…..and…..I’ve lost the language..when the car on Monday I won’t get away from it anymore…..es is a monster 🙂 he was converted to black series look + interior equipment and the engine power was blown up to 740 hp..the v12 is the wa hnsinn….the whole car is addictive….have already bammel to leave the car again on Sunday…don’t know how to bring it over the heart 🙁 so car driving has never been fun for me….but unfortunately I didn’t get the 230000 € for the 65 he did, also not the 35000 for the conversion + motor tuning 🙁 I now board up and down the a8 again..if only net overdo it….the car has 4778 km now…with 3910 I picked him up…. shit..will unfortunately always remain a dream…

  • Replace oil pipes from gearbox to cooler with flex hoses

    Hello, with my favorite G (BJ’93 300GD WDB46332717088920) after the transmission oil wash (at the automatic transmission) at Bosch (actually positively known for its quality in Leipzig) the pipes were soaking, where they are screwed together. Unfortunately, I found it only weeks later, because immediately after the washing of the cars stood elsewhere several weeks. I have now attracted several times at the spotting places, last with a higher force (because slight dissatisfaction in me Ok no topic, new lines here and completely renewed. Aha there are not, but only parts of them in the WWW. Now my question: Why not use steel flexible lines? Aim: Minimization of the possible Siff positions and the line can be moved from the gearbox to the cooler better than the partly rigid lines of MB. Does anyone already have experiences with this?   • WD463 G 500 – Built 93

    Hello dear community, unfortunately I don’t have the manual for my old G class anymore and therefore I’m really thrown up with the fuse box. Are there still some old plans? Especially I need the fuse for the rear electric window lifters. Unfortunately, both of them don’t go. Sometimes you can see if a fuse is through, but I don’t this time. Is this the only fuse box for the passenger seat or what else is there for? Unfortunately I find online also no manual for the year of construction more Anbei ein Foto.   • Current circuit diagram Engine control unit and ignition lock G270CDI

    Hello together. I have a problem with my G270CDI (2005). It doesn’t start sporadically. If you turn the ignition key, nothing happens (you turn into the void). Battery is new. Sometimes it starts normal (turning ignition key-starter is running). I would like to check the connection between ignition lock and motor control unit. Can someone help me there? And where is the starter relay? It seems to me that there is a cold soldering point… Thanks already!

  • Problems associated with the supply of the synchronous shaft

    Hello I ask for help from the axle special lists! That with the axle balls always a slight fat release seems to be normal. But with my G it is recently a grey fat film mixed with oil. The diff oil which was recently exchanged was also gray. So probably the cuffs and the sealing rings are broken, but strangely simultaneously on both sides. I ordered now new seals and bearings and disassembled the first side. At the cuff which still in Ordn ung the tensioner has opened and the cuff was loose at the larger diameter. Unfortunately, the DC joint is also to be replaced. A drive shaft for the G is quickly found, but not suitable for my G500 Bj.10 388Ps at least if the information of the providers is correct.     Hello. my getiebe seems to be spinning somehow. Again and again the car ruptures while rolling comfortably in the 4th gear. That’s about as if the gang jumps out briefly. has someone had something like this before or knows what it might be?
