Hello to you, as a newcomer to Harley. I bought me a Fat Boy 14 days ago, also at my wife’s request, since we can drive them both (I-194 cm, they 159 cm). Those who have to do with it praise this engine above all, he also has powerful bangs, others say it’s the total scrap. Thank you, until soon, Jo P. S. Of course have the In the forum, existing posts were read, but were not quite informative.

  • FAAK 2009 – Accommodation

Hello Harleyists !! FAAK 2008 is over but 2009 is coming !! Was this year the first time ( let the shame pass by me ) in Faak for 1 day , I liked it very much so that I would like to stay next year 2-3 days . But have not had the time to look at accommodation this year . Ask the FAAK professionals you can tell me suitable accommodation does not have to be 5 star . A garage would be nice to hire . And the guest house should also not be too far of the event . for 2009 because I think it’s too late in spring !! Thank you for some answers

  • Every year new Harley – what drives the people?????

Personally, I can’t understand it (independently of the fact that you burn a lot of coal every time you buy a new product with the payment of the old HD), those are looking for which still THE right Harley or have to drive the latest model as with your mobile phone (some also always pick up the same model)???? Questions about questions. Duck and wech. Greetz BV2B

  • How to save to avoid financing?

Hello together, in advance: the search did not give me any useful results. If a similar Fred already exists, then it was not an evil intention. Discussions, whether one should pay a car better in cash or finance there is already a lot here. Also, which types of financing are preferable to others. But I am interested rather the other side, i.e. I want to pay a car cash and put my money aside so that I can even the next – hopefully better – car I would like to know from the cash payers: – Do you consciously put a certain amount aside for your next car month after month? Or do you generally save an amount X per month and if a new car has to pay this from this pot? – How do you put the money on? Savings book is stupid, Giro account much more. Daily money account, funds or savings letters? – At what intervals do you get new or used cars, i.e. with what life span k Alculate? To the background: I will soon buy my second car bar and for me the question arises about the easiest way to do that again. Against the background I found the Fred quite interesting. Thanks already for the answers.

  • Don’t know what to do (financing vs. leasing)

Since I know that when it comes to deciding whether to lease or to finance better, the situation is always important, I now ask for advice and try to describe my situation: Current car: Astra G 1.6 Petrol Kilometers per year: approx. 25000 – 30000 Current KM-Stand des Autos: 120000 The mileage is related to my work. However, the route is mostly motorway. Since I have between 200 and 300 Euro petrol costs per month, a diesel would be very interesting for me. J I was with my dealer today and he currently has annual cars of a former company there. That would be an Astra H (Diesel 1.7) with approx. 10000 km. He would sell them for approx. 11.000 €. I find this is a very good offer. Then we looked at the car and then he suddenly said to me: “Why do you throw out the money like that? Do leasing. That goes with 0 € down payment and a leasing rate of approx. 200 €/month. After that you can leave the car again. And they ha You have a full guarantee and nothing can happen. Be honest and think about how much money they have already invested in their used cars. Why should you do that?” <-- sounds really good and reasonable. Now the question arises, why does he say something like that? Because he wants to/must or because it is really more meaningful? My income is about 1400 € net per month, whereby quite a lot is deducted (apartment, Ben) zin, insurance etc...) So I don't have much money left. The money I have is 3000 €. And even the money I get for my old car (estimate about 3000 € again). That means I would have 6000 € available. My question that I'm asking now is: Well, with 6000 € I could lease a good 2 years. On the other hand, I could invest the money in the "new" used ones and maybe finance the rest for 2 years, but then it would be my own. Or should I really drive my current car to the bitter end? For the next few years I will have to drive these routes and drive so many KMs. Maybe someone has a tip, because I don't know very well about this, am unsure and always break my head.

  • Net earnings/finding

Hello forum , I know that I’m going to start a wave again with the question of meaning or nonsense. I want to buy a Golf V R-Line TDI and fi nance it via VW. Price approx. 34.000€ / deposit 850€ and then the 3-way VW over 48 months. How high must my net earnings lie about ? ( I am single and have no children) Would be nice if you can throw me some facts and figures in the room, thank you !

  • Leasing abort wg. financing

If we ask our Renault dealer, he reacts somewhat uncomprehensively. Therefore, I hope for some suggestions from your side: Situation: a Renault privately leased – runs another three-quarters year – then he goes back to the dealer. But now we are full of Renault – honestly – the muzzle, would like to stop the leasing immediately and instead take an Opel. Used by any dealer – however financed. Now the Renault dealer stubbornly imagines that we could use the vehicle. buy out (doesn’t go) He hitped, the Renault-Leasing-Bank insists on the fulfilment of the contract – or we could interrupt the contract and take another Renault for it (waheh!). Idea? Capital for interim financing definitely not available. LG Achim

  • Poser or Racer?

To the supersport drivers among us How do you use your bike? To drive around in the area and bends in the Black Forest? Or do you bring your babies closer to their destination and hunt them over the race track? I personally use my R6 ONLY on the public because it is unfortunately too bad for me for the race track. She was already there 2 times and also drove some laps but I was way too careful and didn’t really trust me for the race track I have a converted 2004 ́er ZX6R, she’ll always have to be angry

  • Still unsure of which 125 scooter..

Hello, I want to get a 125 scooter for the coming season. I’m just unwise which scooter. Had already posted here, but I haven’t quite come to a final decision yet.. In the tight choice are now: Kymco People S 125 + Grand Bike + dealer on site + Kickstarter (run mostly only short distance in winter, whether the battery is always sufficiently charged..?) + bad robust technology – can I sit comparatively badly on it (193cm., knee broken –> knee angle, little space for the feet..) – for a 125er lame, little PS – Lt. of different magazines bad chassis.. weighs approx. 115Kg.. Honda PSI 125 + I can sit very well on it( therefore also the PSI 125 and not the SH 125, at the SH 125 I could sit in about as with the People S 125..) + modern engine, injector, powerful.. – no dealer on site, the nearest dealer is about 35 km away.. – suspension should be knocked out according to different magazines after approx. 4000Km, V At approx. 20000 km the variomatik is done, the exhaust until then even 5x.. – NO Kickstarter, if there sometimes in winter the battery does not want anymore.. Now I received the Honda PSI from a dealer, approx. 90km from my place of residence, for 2500,- Euro. List price approx. 3100,- Euro. Is a new vehicle from 2008.. So far the Honda PSI 125 was always a lot more expensive than the People S 125. Now at once both move in the same price frame. Now I’m insecure again. Actually I wanted to be active in 2-3 months only at the beginning of the season. But the Honda dealer has 2 PSI 125 standing when they’re gone that’s at this price.. The motorly better, more modern scooter, without dealer on site and without kickstarter? But I can sit on it very well. –> Honda PSI 125 Or the lame scooter, with dealer on site and with kickstarter, but I can’t sit on it as well as with Honda. –> Kymco People S 125 Would be for Your advice or recommendations really grateful.. Many greetings and a good slide already..

  • Recommendation folding helmet for spectacle wearers

Hello, after my jet helmet is not quite suitable in winter I want to get a new “winter helmet”.. Since I am a wearer of glasses it should be a folding helmet. And my jet helmet is the size XXL. Should therefore give the folding helmet also in large sizes.. Should be for driving with a 125 scooter.. And if possible not cost 400,- Euro.. 🙂 I know that a good helmet also costs, but well, is “only” a 125.. And only in the city. Stop for the winter Einsat Z thought.. Can you recommend something?
