  • Brake lines really change every 4 years???

Hello, I’m new here at the Yamaha Forum since I bought a Tracer 9 GT from 2021 3 weeks ago. Since 1994 I drive a motorcycle and have never changed a brake line. I have now read somewhere that Yamaha requires an exchange after already 4 years??? My first machine was a Honda CB 500, with which I drove for 14 years, about 55 TKm) and have done all the maintenance work after the warranty period itself. I have the brake fluid regularly every 3 years. The Honda also had rubber brake hoses, while the BMW was made of steel flexible cables. In the car, brake hoses are only replaced if these first porous spots on the outer skin (usually after more than 10 years). The TÜV examiner sees this the same way. Is this a (over) careful ) measure of Yamaha, as is the case with so many manufacturers today? How do you handle it?

  • Vote from the scooter

Hello?,? I’m not exactly one of the people who know the best with scooters. Well, I have one or several questions. I changed my cylinder so I changed a complete cylinder kit. Changing everything went well.. I bought the scooter used and it was bad at the beginning white the carburettor setting was wrong. I have a detangled Laser X Pro exhaust and don’t know how to vote it so… The scooter is thus completely detached (D-Ding, CDI and ha) The laser) Currently I have a 47.5 main nozzle but I think that it is too small or? If I have completely throttled it with the exhaust which main nozzle could I need? I would buy a tuning set but there are also different sizes. With which size should I start? Variomatics voice I still have a different voice but that’s easier. Sorry for the long text but would be grateful for all the answers.? Please don’t come with illegal, did not v or drive the scooter in the city. Thank you!

  • Test the scooter motor without a harness

Hi Scooter friends, I have a scooter engine here (although a QT6, JSD50QT-13) that didn’t sprung up any more. Carburettor is new, pistons and rings I changed, cylinder looks still good, the rings still fit inside the tolerance (0.4mm gap) in the cylinder. The old rings were already worn out. Now I have put everything back together, oiled everything, new seals in and also the valves checked again. So this fits now. Only I want the now before I a How? Fill fuel into the float chamber with a syringe, the syringe can also be used as a mini-tank. But I have no idea what kind of pin-occupation is: http://i.imgur.com/ZCYZuzs.jpg On the internet, only pin-occupations with a blue loop can be found for the China scooters, but this one has a 2nd on the clutch bell for the throttle in addition to the pickup on the pole. To test this will probably not be important…? l but definitely do not heat the CDI.

  • Accident with 1.67 Promille – insurance pays nothing?

Hello together, I had an accident with 1.67 promille. My car is total damage and the other car has a damage of €30,000. I have a comprehensive insurance with the Aachen Municher. Now I was informed (for the time being by phone) that the insurance will take over nothing or take me completely in regress. I have often read that the insurances take one to 5,000 € in regress, but pay the rest!? Do I have a chance on it or do I actually have to there with calculations for all the damage? Mfg Alksünder

  • Where are you insured?

I would be interested to know where you and the Stinger have insured (especially the 3.3) what the insurance costs. Perhaps according to the following scheme: Insurance: Costs: Additional payment UK: Supplement TK: mileage in km: damage-free class Options: Workshop binding, new value protection, etc. Perhaps the contribution helps that one or the other can reduce its costs or directly well & cheaply insure. Currently I have the following offers available: 1) Insurance: HUK24 Costs: 960€ (per year) – Part & All-inclusive surcharge UK: 500€ Additional surcharge TK: 150€ Running fee in km: 30000 Property freedom class: 3 (2.cars) – no other options booked – 2) Insurance: Ergo Costs: 110€ (per year) – Part & All-inclusive surcharge UK: 500€ Additional surcharge TK: 150€ Running fee in km: 30000 Property freedom class: 3 (2.cars) – no other options booked –

  • Experiences requested: Stinger GT

A friendly “Hello in the round! We were recently at the Kia dealer, unfortunately there was no Stinger on site. … we could not watch it live accordingly unfortunately no test drive was possible. The equipment, the appearance (on photos) and also the price have promised us very much. Also the interior looks high quality. The Stinger is definitely in our short choice and we also want to try to make a test ride with the GT. And 2 big advantages has the Wag in (for us): as a GT he has a V6 and four wheel! Similar vehicles are (Audi S5, BMW 440i GC) equipped good 25-30,000 € more expensive !!! Now we would simply be interested, how satisfied are owners of the Stinger in general (place offer, trunk, clarity, Navi) and then of course also with the automatic, four wheel and the 3.3 l engine??? Does the car drive relatively sporty, or do you still notice its weight and size (over 4.80 m) clearly??? Please not misunderstand: we don’t want a racing car, but it wasn’t just a good figure on the highway at 240, but also a bit of fun and safety on a winding country road….. Please don’t misunderstand: we don’t want a racing car, but it wasn’t just a good figure on the highway at 240, but also a bit of fun and safety on a winding country road…. which are offered by the Stinger in Germany – the Genesis G70 3.3T should have a slightly more sporty chassis, be about 10cm shorter, have a smaller wheelbase and be about 10/120 kg lighter … according to US journalists you notice that – what do you say about 10cm / 100 KG ???

  • Stinger GT Turbo display

Hello, next to the indication of the oil temperature, rotations (n/m) there is a “turbo indicator” from 1 to 3 bar. Even under full speed my GT does not reach even 1.5 bar. I wonder why KIA represents the indicator up to 3 bar, if not even the half is reached 1.5 bar. Does someone have an explanation for or after approx. 4k km already a defect on the two loaders? Greetings Patrick
