Vehicle on foreign registration plates
Mr Moin. I know that this issue has been taken over here many times, but it has never been clarified whether it is legal or not. That is why I have dealt with this issue in detail and I have found that it is not tax evasion, as was often mentioned here in the forum. I explain it to you by the example of Poland. Before Poland entered the EU, a national was only allowed to drive a vehicle on Polish registration plates, if he did so at the tax office. By notifying the tax office, he had to pay taxes for the vehicle from the day on which he crossed the border to Germany. It was tax-free if the foreign vehicle owner was in the vehicle. So it was before joining. Now it is the case that the tax exemption according to § 3 KraftStG for cars and trailers was supplemented or superimposed by a number of bilateral contracts and so-called double taxation agreements, which according to § 15 I No. 7 KraftS Under this reciprocity agreement, motor vehicles and trailers registered in the territory of one Contracting Party and entering the territory of the other Contracting Party for temporary residence shall be exempt from taxes and charges. “temporary residence” shall mean a stay in the territory of a Contracting Party of up to one year beginning with the date of crossing the border (see also § 5 IntVO). It is therefore irrelevant whether the vehicle is used by a national or foreigner. In addition, German motor vehicle tax law is also superimposed by the Geneva Multilateral Convention of 18 May 1956 (BGBL 1960 II, p. 2397; 1961, p. 837, 922; 1983, p. 658; 1994, p. 446). In the case of a vehicle registered in another Contracting State under the Geneva Convention, the Geneva Convention also has no restriction on the person using the vehicle. Poland signed the double taxation agreement with Germany on 18.12.1972 and by accession, it is sufficient for only one person to be registered in another Member State. As a result, a national is allowed to carry a vehicle on Polish registration plates here without any problems, provided that the vehicle owner in Poland pays his taxes. That is why we no longer have to pay taxes on the introduction of goods in the EU since Poland is with us, which was different before accession.

Non-contributory life insurance
Hello Due to a (hopefully passing) economic solution and thus also financial bottleneck I am forced to discontinue the payments of my (and my wife’s) capital-forming life insurance. What possibilities do I have without losing too much of my already paid contributions? Is it also possible to continue with the contribution payment later on? Before I start a correspondence with my insurance here, I would like to first of all about the The 5 insurance companies have been running for 12, 10, 8, 6 and 5 years and still have terms of 20 – 27 years and have a monthly total contribution of approx. 450 euros. They are intended as pure capital formation (among other things for children, etc.). Thank you and many greetings, Michael Mark P.S. Hopefully this part of the forum is not only intended for car insurances!?!

UK damage really so cheap?!
Although my passenger side now looks like I was at war and was striped by a tank, the other car had GAR NIX! So I called my insurance company (HUK24) and they told me that next year I would pay 280 euros more (at then SF4 – 70%) Can it really be that it is so cheap?

Oil consumption X-Max 300
Hello Together I wanted to ask myself how your experience on the topic of oil “consumption” is. I drive a Yamaha X-Max 300. Before 4’000 km an oil change was made and filled up to the max.. Now the oil stand is in the middle. This is not much astonished but something. Before the X-Max 300 I had a Forza 125. That was on the highway actually almost constantly at the limiter but had no visible oil consumption. So as I said, it does not find bad or disturbing but because still interesting that the higher-turning Honda needed “nothing”. Had it rather expected the other way around, due to the speed. I would also be interested in how long your tyres last. I have the first tire Dunlop SmartScoot on it and the rear is now after 5’000 km at the end. How does the tire last longer when driving on the highway or overland? On the highway it turns much faster for it falls but the constant acceleration and braking away from the highway .. other X-Max 300 drivers here? Greetings

Ford crown Victoria Cab
Hello dear community The Ford Crown Vic, as the last representative of the classic Yellow Cab, Full Size Sedan in New York is consecrated to death. Since the New York City Taxi Commision issues only one license as a taxi for three years per VIN number at New Cars, the Crown Vic is no longer built as a taxi, no new ones will come into circulation. By 2012 all NYC Cabs hybrid vehicles are supposed to be. So it will be time to secure one before this genus finally disappears from the streets of New York I intend to get a Crown Vic from currently 20000 NYC Cabs. With an average annual speed of about 80000Miles it will be time now. I am looking for a data sheet for full acceptance in Germany. As far as possible with Euro 4 It will be a 2006/7 Crown Victoria with the long wheelbase and the low compressed 4.6 modular V8. Who can give me some helpful information about the approval in Germany. Before for all answers already thanks e.

How does the transmission get the signal to switch?
Hello guys, I got a little familiar with my new arrival, a Silverado K2500 6.2L diesel from 1988. The technology is then a lot easier and more mechanical than in my Crown Vic. I noticed now that something is wrong with the gearbox. Often the converter bridge does not close at all. You notice this clearly in the 3rd gear. Then the engine turns up forever and the box doesn’t get right off the spot. Occasionally it still works and from 60km/h the In the last gear at about 80km/h it is often undecided, whether WAÜ on or too. The funny thing is that the bridge works better, if the car has driven a few kilometers of highway or if it has been accelerated to 100km/h in the kickdown. The transmission is quite new and the oil I have checked several times, that fits now too. The big question is how the gearbox gets its signal, that it now switches The pickup has a maintenance jam. I have ordered everything for a service, so all filters and the glow candles. I’ve been looking for a long time now, but Google doesn’t spit out what I’m looking for. I’d be really grateful for your advice.

Electronics F 150 Triton 2000 please help
Greetings, I drive a 2000 of the F150, have electronic problems, the rev indicator just blows up, the engine oil control lamp lights up and the pointer goes up and down briefly, mostly, shortly after the start. The mileage indicator just goes off and then on again, but the main problem is an experience that just went out of my mind shortly after the start of the engine (immobilizer). Had car already in Boschwerkstatt, changed speed sensor, without success! I don’t know, thank you.

U.S. school bus – admission
Hello dear community, the following situation: My company has bought an American school bus and it has already been transported to us from America. Now I stand before the mammoth task to bring this here in Germany on the road and to allow (Motorb needed AU, braking system, etc., etc.). Of course this should happen cost-effectively. The aim of the bus is with customers over the company premises and through the public transport in the immediate vicinity of the company premises. for promotion purposes. Probably it will not move more than 1000km a year. – US-Schoolbus Blue Bird Model 3000 BJ 2001 Do you have maybe tips or tricks on how to simplify the way of admission ? Is there something like a long-term special permit ? Other suggestions ? Thank you already in advance…
