  • Stinger traction control at 200+

Dear community, I just had (for the second time) a strange bug, in which I can’t assign whether it’s the gearbox or the traction control itself. SITUATION: Car warm, mode sport, ESP/ASR on, in the middle of the AB, accelerates to exactly 211 km/h and suddenly the lamp for traction control goes on. Car remains at exactly 211 km/h and it feels like it is slowed down, as if by the limiter. As if it could not continue to power up in the 8th Da “D” I couldn’t see which gear I was in. Then – braked down to 120, switched manually over the rocker and back again to “D”. After that I went up to 235 km/h without any problems. Had I already had, after I switched a lot of hands/fingers before and then switched to “D” and high speed (from 200km/h). Did one of you already have that? Doesn’t feel threatening but also not horny at 200+. Thanks already for your answers. LG Chris

  • Fuck Ebay!!!

Don’t buy a puff at Ebay!!! They only sell shit!!!!! I bought a “cheap” ESD because I didn’t have enough money for Bastuck&Co.. I was happy when he came and a multi-page ABE was there and so on. I wanted to have it registered with the Tüv anyway, and at once the examiner had to let me enter net, after all, have an ABE for the tailpipe. So I bought only an exhaust with a welded tailpipe. However, the shitty thing is also lee Now I save on a Bastuck ESD and then on the rest of the complete system of Bastuck!!! So, in general, fingers away from cheap tuning parts at Ebay. Save your money and buy yourself something decent!!!!!!

  • What do you think of Powertech suspensions?

With D&W straight Powertech suspensions are 15% cheaper, and since my suspension is slowly making the greaves I thought you could use the action and get a new suspension! Have you already had experience with Powertech suspensions? I heard they should be quite soft! Are the springs reasonable or start to rust like my old Jamex springs after a year? Will the shock absorbers leak quickly? etc.

  • What kind of punishment awaits me when…?

So I now endschiueden to get me a VSD atrap for my bastuck system and maybe also wanted to see a MSD but well ask what punishment could expect me if they should pack me?

  • R32 as diesel variant…

Last weekend I had the pleasure of briefly driving the R32 in the new diesel variant sample… is such a hammer, unfortunately I lack the direct comparison to the gasoline engine… of which it is difficult to give details about the performance… but I would probably exchange my little Eleanor at any time The car came from a well-known one who has been working at VW for several years in engine development… so it seems that it won’t take long until he gets into the trade….

  • Anyone interested in my golf?

I’m starting to lose my nerves! In order for my new chassis to be registered, the fenders would have to be pulled by about 2.5cm! This alone should cost about 400,-Euro (perhaps also because I want to keep the original edges or the look)! Then the cage, chassis, cathedral warehouse, license plate would have to be entered into rear bumper (for the cage I have only a material report and on the cage is not a label from the manufacturer), and that should cost around 550,-Euro again! The whole thing with a 15-year-old golf 2, which had already had a strong frontal damage! Should I do that, or do I rather get a new car?

  • Car-buying addict ?!

Last summer I bought my Caprice. This for a long time looking on the Internet. For hours I forested on Drive-in.ch Autoscout24.ch etc. I MUST have a Caprice station. And then finally bought one. I find the car simply awesome! But nevertheless my feelings from “keep it forever and restore everything” switch to “sell it” . However I know that I would slap my face if I would give it here. And yet I want to sell it again… it is Last month I bought a small car (Corsa B), which I use as a “reserve and replacement car”. In addition, I ordered a new van which will be my own in April. Should be enough. But suddenly I see an absolute dream car advertised. I immediately looked for pictures in Google and ebaymotors.com, found and thus increased enthusiasm. Now I go tomorrow (Wednesday) to look at the car. And I am now looking for pictures. I’m almost sure that I’ll buy the car…if the price is right. But… I don’t have any use for this thing. But an inner voice tells me: “You have to have that!” Not that you think I’m going to booze here with money…my current cars haven’t cost 20t € together yet. But I’m wondering if I’m still okay? Have you or did you ever have that? Or is your enthusiasm limited to ONE car you have? I think I’m crazy…… rexxell

  • LPG Consumption Tahoe 5.7

Hi, I would be interested in what your Tahoes converted to LPG consume. My consumption seems to be quite high: I had a Tartarini installed in my 98 Tahoe 5.7 ltr. The fuel consumption is thus 13-14 liters. Gas it needs easily 20 liters; I find the extra consumption quite heavy! Since I had initially noticed on standing vehicle gas odor, I suspected a leak in the system. Was also so and was removed in the workshop. r screw connection was not reasonably sealed. Therefore, I am quite sure that further leaks no longer exist. However, the consumption remained high; a defective thermostat was detected during a further visit to the workshop. Since the LPG control reads and processes values from the thermostat, the cause was assumed here. But the exchange did not work either. Therefore, my question about your consumption values. Remember that it is not a problem with the workshop. Krauter is dealing with JA Automobile in Langenfeld, a major dealer for Suzuki, Dodge, Chrysler, for which LPG conversions are part of the day-to-day business. By the way: I was pleasantly surprised that I received a new tax notice completely uninquired and unexpectedly after the installation and now only half of the car taxes have to be paid (7.36 €/100ccm). So the system pays for itself much faster. I always assumed that the classification of cars with bivalent operation did not exist. t changes and is assumed to be worse each. Greeting wogro

  • Squeaking, wheel speed dependent noise

Hello, I have had a squeaky, wheel speed-dependent noise while driving for about half a year. (R230 SL350 Built. 06) The noise probably comes from the front left from the area of the brake. From approx. 50 km/h to approx. 100 km/h the squeaking appears audible, it gets faster and faster after wheel speed. However, the noise only occurs as soon as the car has been warmed up and already a few kilometers behind it. My first guess was the brake, however, changes the No sound when it is activated. I also checked whether the noise changes when I set up “N” during the ride – no difference. With brake cleaners I have flooded the brake and checked whether particles have caught up in the perforated brake disc. Several MB workshops and an MB branch have taken care of the problem, but could not find anything. The rear brake discs + brake pads have been renewed (Hinten MB original). rderen were still as good as new, the brake pads were nevertheless sanded (front ATE brake disc with ATE Ceramic brake pad). The tyres are only 1 year old, but were already tested with others. Also the parking brake was checked – everything was fine. Did everything cost a lot of money but nothing. Is there perhaps any special features because of the SBC brake? Could it have to do with the ATE components? Does anyone still have a tip what to check? could? I would be very happy about advice from you. Thank you very much! Greeting Marcel
