Electrical problems
Hello guys, maybe someone can give me a tip. Drive for about 20 years a 92 Zephyr1100. I have now almost 140,000 km on the clock, since then actually almost without problems. But recently the mill starts to annoy. Starts right after the first push of a button and runs quite round, even if it is cold. But sometimes – not always – so about 100-200 meters after the start, the revometer goes abruptly to zero and the cart stands. And that with beautiful like in bad weather. If I’m lucky then she jumps back and forth after several ignition keys and violent cursing again. I have changed almost all switches meanwhile, clutch switch, side stand switch, right handlebar fitting and even the lower part of the ignition lock with the electrics on it, but the problem comes again and again. I checked the battery cables and they are fixed. Recently she even goes during the ride on the fast road. ßeße – and that’s not very fun, if you are just overtaking. I cleaned all plug connections and treated them with contact spray, but the problem still occurs again and again. Maybe someone has the same problem. For a good advice I would be very grateful. I don’t want another mopped, because I don’t like any other as well as the Zephyr.

Have Audi repaired or scrapped?
So yesterday was with the car in a car workshop. Have let the whole car look through. He meant broken or what has to be done in the near future: – Domlager – Achsmanschetten (but are dry and only slightly porous) – Brakes front Completely new (dishes + coverings) – rear the brake lines – wanted to do an axle measurement – possibly the wheel bearings = cost 950,-Euro with wheel bearing without wheel bearing 750,-Euro Does this still pay for the Audi 80? Is year of construction 1991 and now has about 230,000 km on the speedometer. Timing belts were made at 223,000 km, cost already 200,-Euro. And the car has an oil consumption of about 1 liter/1000 km is normal or too much? Someone said to me would be normal, another said in return that the car should not use oil normally.

Drive shafts Reperature DC joint cheap on the Internet??
moin, I broke the left drive shaft with my vehicle and pinched it when accelerating so the DC joint will probably be defective. Now I have seen that it is to be sold in the internet DC joint without ABS from ATP. Includes: Dust sleeve High temperature grease Joint Explosion ring 2x Crushselle central screw Plastic ring for wave 2 years warranty Costed in a complete set 22,70€ My question is worth it or is the total scrap ?? I don’t feel like tearing everything apart again after a couple of days due to noises Gruss Schally89

Audi V8 restoration
Hello, dear people! I will soon be 18 and will receive the car of my opas, which still fulfills its purpose and purpose “to come from A to B”. During this time I would like to do myself about the restoration Audi V8. what do you think (maybe someone has experiences), what a motor overhaul would cost and what a performance increase for possible little money would be 3.6 liter–what can you do for the good yet oversized money bag. the project should about about a Run from 3 to 4 years and the V8 will then be used as a “Sunday Car”. would be nice if I would get as many tow as possible as soon as possible… mfg Sebastian

A lance for the price comparison! 600 euros saved… at the LiMa!
Ay screwing community, probably you all have your suppliers and also your screwdrivers, if you don’t do it yourself… I know an excellent contact point in the Black Forest, but as Nordlich I also know one up here. Without which I would have already shot down the car. For all of you, who live a bit more north of Kassel or who maybe sometimes, even if the website is not so doll at the moment, want a meaningful price comparison, here my intimate Experience Confession http://www.motorkultur.com/…/5514-ein-fall-for-den-retter.html My V8 will no longer see an Audi center from inside… Sandmann

So Final Final Decision Show – Audi 80 B4 Chassis Decision / Lowering
Moin, maybe a sad topic here, but I didn’t get very smart from other threads. Only as far as the hanging ass is concerned So since it’s supposed to get warmer, I have to buy a new chassis in front of my Audi. The old one is really a bit swabby. So with the dampers I thought about Bilstein B4, they have gas pressure and serial height… With the springs I wanted to grab first to Vogtland 35mm… I don’t want to have the car too deep, but I don’t know what the Audi 80 is already too deep. It should just be the right look and of course bring a few better driving characteristics. I have 16″x7 or 7.5 no idea, with 205 on it should be no problem Of course I will also have dorm storage and on top of the car. their wear parts change! Now my question is on what kind of feathers would you grab? so for about 150€ greeting Daniel

Audi 80 B3 does not start after installation
Hey guys! I really need your help!! I built a system in the trunk (Magnat 400Watt + Power Amp 400Watt), and that makes amazing way really “wums” (small tip to all Audi 80 B3 owners, the problems have to get the bass in the interior, just separates the ski bag device, then it goes 🙂 ) My problem now is that the car after I turned it off doesn’t start! I connected the power amp to the radio, and of course at the Battery connected, and when the radio goes out, then the lights of the power amplifier go out! Then I just got 10 minutes before I turned off the car, turned off the radio, and when I turned off the car, still cut off the power supply at the back of the end stage, and this morning it then also jumped! Now is my guess that the alternator does not manage to charge the battery, because it is too much used by the system…!? On the other hand, have a lot of e i know even older and relegated cars, with 1000 – 1200 Watt systems and the jumping also perfectly on…! Maybe the further helps… my battery has 12 V, and 360 A…..but maybe it is also easily perfect, or can n short circuit be the cause, and should I just install a second…only where, and does the alternator manage to do that at all?? I hope one of you knows what could be his, and what I should do!!? Vilen Thanks already in advance! MfG.: André

Workshop costs VW, Renault, Opel
Hello together, I have found a car in the meantime a Renault Laguna Grandtour 1.5 dci DPF 110PS. This car tells us so far. As an alternative would be to call Skoda Octavia/ Golf (Kombis) 1.6TDI and the Opel Astra Tourer 1.4 CDI. However, I worry if it is a Renault to be faced with high workshop costs. The Laguna is also not exactly the “world car”! But with 40,000km and good equipment from the year 12/11 is just 10.800€ not much if you have it with a only the Opel would be better equipped but also worse equipped. Can someone give experience and or recommendations at which the least workshop costs would occur. I admit that I can get an engine damage with each of these cars 🙁

8000-9000 Euro Budget – A3 vs BMW 1er or alternative
Hello, I need the car for the journey to work: only 10 km back and forth and for training: 20 km back and forth plus further rides. (planned use: approx. 4-5 years) That means I come in the year on 7000-8000 km, mainly short distance with 1-2 months longer distances. My parents drive only diesel, therefore they also recommend me a diesel. The vehicles I have looked at up to now: E87 3-door 118d or 120d I have now also contributed from the control chain problem. My questions now, after the E87 diesel no longer comes into question: – has the E87 3 doors petrolier, the same problem? (because usually only the talk of the n47 is) Otherwise I am looking for: – From the power, something like the 220 CDI from our W203 – size from compact class – optically I like the 1 BMW 3 door and the Audi A3 – No Golf V, Hyundai i30 I like the outside and inside not t, Seat Leon also thanks for your help
