  • Fahrad fell against car!

hey people. a couple of days ago I saw the bicycle fall from a teenager to my car. he descended to buy cigarettes and put his bike next to my car. he turned around and exactly at this moment it happened. my car was properly on a parking lot. it fell on my car and the result are deep scratchers and a bump in the passenger door and scratcher in the kotflügel. personalities were replaced. then the Gess you could hear that you do not like to regulate it about private liability. you want to “do it this way”. today I was in the friendly and during the evaluation of the car I found more thick scratchers and bumps in the area tank lids. these were not there before. 100% not. the car was only in the garage the last days so they could not have been added in the meantime. so the painting of the entire left side suggested. what do I do if they say that they don’t want to pay for the damage? pays in this case the private liability? for the first time something happened to me. how should I proceed? have just tried to reach the family by phone without success. mfg, drago

  • Residual value exchange / unabh. expert reports / car itself continue driving

Hello, I have the following problem: I got into the car of my girlfriend (Corsa) one in the back. The opposing insurance already confirmed in writing that you will take over the damage (accident opponent is therefore 100% responsible for the accident). According to an independent report, which I ordered immediately, the car was worth 2300 euros before the accident and now has a residual value of 800 euros (economic total damage). The remaining value stated in the report would not be recognized, since someone would offer 1200 euros for the car in an online stock exchange (the opposing verse has placed the car in this exchange without our consent). Now we do not want to sell the car at all, since I will repair the damage myself in the summer (car body pressed in in the rear area, trunk flap closes only with considerable force). Have already turned on a lawyer. would pay the difference of 230-1200, i.e. 1100 euros, but not the 2300-800 = 1500 euros. Meanwhile about 5 months have passed and up to now she has still paid GARNIX!!!, despite a tenfold payment request and bank data transfer. My girlfriend has no legal protection insurance, but gets Bafög and therefore has to pay for the lawyer only a consultation fee of 10 euros. Now the big problem: she has the right to legal aid because of Bafög, i.e. the exemption of Legal fees and court costs. If the whole thing goes to court now and it doesn’t win, it has to pay the costs of the other side in full! (lawyer and court costs!) In a comparison, if its income situation has improved noticeably in 4 years, the attorney and court costs incurred by you to pay off in installments! If you win, you don’t have to pay anything! Now the question to the experts: WHAT WOULD YOU MAKE IN THIS SITUATION??? 110 0 EURO CASSIERN WHEN YOU WOULD FINALLY PAY, OR TAKE THE 2500 EURO AND ENSURE THE RISK? How do you get the verse in this case to come over at least once with the 1100 Euros? Greetings, Roman

  • extreme paint damage

Hello and healthy new, following censario: After two days of extreme snowfall, my father turned my car away with a road broom. Today I found out that the car was scratched all around. Whatever that is possible with a road broom. The question: Can anyone tell me if in such a case private liability jumps in?

  • Insurance insures wrong car

Hello together, in the middle of last year I got a new car, which is of the same type as the previous one (Mercedes A-Class). I registered the old car and sold it. I took over the license plate of the previous holder. I informed my car insurance by telephone about the change of the vehicle and requested the rewriting of my insurance to the new A-Class. As now turned out at the end of the year, the insurance company did not have this change. During a telephone call because of a question, this was noticed by the clerk who admitted that it was a mistake in the insurance and said that it was now being corrected. My question: Was my new car insured this six months, although the documents did not have the correct registration number? If the insurance had been carried out in this Zei t must be responsible for any damage to the new vehicle? Does anyone have experience with a similar case? I look forward to your feedback. Best regards An insured person

  • Simson S51 Ignition system 6V or 12V!?

Hello people, in the following I hope for help through your competence and experience! I have got a Simson S51 in parts with a “snow find” in my hands and have already partly restored it. Currently the cabling is on and thus also the alignment of the necessary components to 6V or 12V. Since there are repeated statements in countless forums and posts I want to create clarity for me now and hopefully also other hobbyists! g to this thread you will find a photo of my ignition / generator. I would have liked to know if this is a 6V or 12V system!? I would also like to clarify if it is a 12V system, for example, which components have to be installed with a 12V voltage? 12V ignition therefore also uses 12V lamps, 12V flashers, 12V battery, 12V ignition coil? I hope for your help and thank you already in advance for your efforts! VG __OPTiMAL

  • (compact) combo up to approx. 800€

Hello, my beloved Passat 35i has to be sent slowly but surely into retirement, because the problems in old age are now increasing. Therefore, I am looking for a successor, who should be just as reliable, as the good old Passat, from which I was already a bit spoiled in this regard. We are looking for a station wagon, which should accompany me reliably over the next (10) years. Due to the annual driving performance of approx. 15000km and before After a little research, I found that a larger station wagon in the direction of Mondeo, C5, Mazda 6 or something like that would probably be quite expensive in the maintenance. The petrol engines are already swallowing a lot due to the size. Therefore, I tend to buy a compact one now and get a trailer for larger transports. I think that would be the more economical choice in the longer term. So we are looking for: Compact station wagon, denno ch spacious, petrol, from c. 2007/2008 with approx. 130tkm to have maybe another 10 years in about fun at the car. I don’t really need a lot of frills, the only thing I would like to have would be the comfort of a seat heating. After a little research the candidates Focus MK2 and Astra H are mentioned again and again, which should probably be very solid. Visually would appeal to me a Octavia II, however, these are rather rare and the motor selection due to the Tsi Gesc Which cars would still be in question? What about the Astra J (1.4T) in terms of reliability? Can it keep up with the predecessor? Thank you for your help!

  • Ideas for a 640D release

Hello forum, I’m looking for a successor for my 640D GC. Since I’m not really brand-bound, model-bound or class-bound, but I’m a bit disoriented I’d be happy about some ideas. Maybe someone likes to juggle a few models with me. Key data are as follows: MUST: – Four seats. Does not have to be a Skoda Superb Fond, but more than 2+2 in Mustang / 911. BMW 2 Series Coupe Fond is ok, i.e. adults must be able to sit halfway in the back. – Gasoline. Never. again diesel – and this has nothing to do with driving bans, scandals etc. – engine power at least GTI / 230hp in the compact class, >300hp when it goes towards the upper middle class or upper class – No French, no SUV and no passat 🙂 – Smaller than my current, i.e. under 5m outer length – Dynamically mobile GERNE: – 4 doors – 6/8 cylinders – Mercedes / BMW / VWA – RWD or AWD; actually felt “must”, but I haven’t driven an FWD with Diff yet and would have at least one sample – unusual, rarely priceless under 60,000€ as a destination. Used or new no matter, maintenance secondary. As an example like “wide” I actually am here examples that I have looked at: Mustang, 340i and 550i limousines, S3 limousine, M240i Coupe, TT Coupe as 2.0 TFSI, S4 Avant, Giulia, Alpina B3 Touring, C63 T-model.

  • Trying at a dealer, buying at another?

Hello, I’m a bit in a mess. I want to buy a Golf GTE, but the dealer on site has no such as a demonstration car and the next dealer who would have one is about 40km away. Actually, it would be perfect to test the GTE there and then order it from the dealer on site. However, I find that quite unfair, so the second possibility would be to order the GTE at the dealer’s where I also test drive. Only then could the dealer on site My family has been buying their VWs there for decades. So how to proceed?
