Hello, when I got into a general traffic control today (on men’s/father’s day), two “nice” police officers exceptionally meant well with me. After the “party-typical” alcohol control, the officers wanted to see my first aid box, warning triangle and my vest and the world seemed still fine. When one officer then noticed my rims (with KBA number), he also asked immediately for my ABE. When I showed my ABE in then he suddenly said that would not be There would still be an attachment missing in that it says that these rims are also allowed for my vehicle. [blow] When I explained to him then that I bought the vehicle like this (i.e. with aluminium wheels and the test report) they let me drive again, but with the reference that I should get a more detailed ABE. Now to my question: Does anyone know what they want exactly? I already looked at the manufacturer’s side and googled a little bit, but unfortunately I am not fed. Here my data: Seat Ibiza 6k Year of manufacture: 1999 Performance: 44 kW / 60 hp Engine: 1.4l MPI Wheel manufacturer: ENZO KBA: 45747 Type: EO4G Size: 6 J x 14 H2 Tyres: 185/55 R14 80V I would be very grateful for an answer PS: I once attached the ABE as PDF

Tyres and rims. Which brands are good and which are not so good?
Hello together. I’m looking for nice rims and new summer tires for my slightly older Kia Rio. However, I always find brand names that tell me very little. In the rim area I have actually not been able to collect any real experiences yet and so far I have only had a few bits of rims. I think they were really ok. And I think the others of Alcar (AEZ and Dotz) will be ok or do you have any negatives? W he looks like he with rims of DBV, platinum, Keskin and other suppliers who demand for a 15 inches rim under 100€ or just above it. With the matures there are then again every quantity names that tell me nothing. I can not really assign things to the Sonar, Sunew, Runway, Kormoran, Goodride etc. Are all these some far east cheapest ripening that you should not really take? In winter I had now ridden Nokian WR D3 and was actually quite satisfied with it. e no problems with it. But are the Nokian summer tires also all usable? Or should it be better for the Korean to mature a kumho? With the different manufacturers one unfortunately always reads about different matures. But then the one should be good and the other less. And always only on test results from the big car newspapers etc. one can not just orient oneself so easily.

When (at how much mm) do you change your winter tires?
Just because of interest: When (at how much mm) do you change your winter tires? Background: The Michelin A4 on our golf are actually at the border where you could change (at least 4 mm) and supposedly should. However, we noticed yesterday and today that the Michelin (which we actually wanted to shut down the summer) still has so much grip that it would be a waste of money to change it now. I have to say that we in general really really do with this tire. were very satisfied. By far the best tire we had on the golf so far. So: When do you change your tires?

Does anyone know the difference between Michelin Alpin A4 and Michelin Alpin A4 AO (for Audi)?
Hello dear tire experts, someone here in the forum knows the exact differences between the standard tyre model Michelin Alpin A4 and the model Michelin Alpin A4 AO (AO stands for Audi vehicles, but according to Michelin website also suitable for vehicles of other brands) I now ride the AO version as 185/60 R15 88H on the polo and only know that compared to the previously driven and reclaimed “Normalo version” the rolling noise is quieter. ellche Properties Audi is worth it and how Michelin changes the tire? Something will probably be different. Michelin or Audi don’t have any exact information about it! Why do they make such a secret – I as the end user must also know exactly if there are deviations to the already frequently tested “normalo-version”! Not that the winter characteristics are possibly worse Many greetings

Audi 80 B3 driver door closes only half
Hello, with my Audi the driver’s door does not close properly. If I lock with the key, then all the buttons go down as they should, only the button on the driver’s door goes up after about 1 second again a few mm. If you pull now in the locked state at the driver’s door, then the a few cm goes up to a certain point, when I pull then a little stronger then the door is open. If I lock with the key at the driver’s door and calculate vigorously after ts spin and wait 5 seconds, then it cracks, the button sinks a few mm lower than the others and the door cannot be opened, as it should be. Now I have installed a radio central lock and thus you can open the driver’s door with a little force, because the button does not go down. I don’t want to lock with keys now. Is the locking motor (Hydraulik) completely broken? Or do I just have to put a little oil there somewhere. is it going right again?

Winter tires – need recommendation!
so right now I have the semperit sport grip on it (195/65 R15 T) which was recommended to me by my workshop but I am not satisfied with the thing at all on ice it is acceptable on snow on average in the rain terrible because I come in the level almost not from the stand away side stop is generally quite good only he drives himself a little spongy to my driving behavior: * live in the mountains (must drive a climb with 19% at every weathering i.e. he should be able to climb well en) * major autobahn * approx. 20 000 km per winter * faster driving style which would you recommend to me he should be best an allrounder who can climb half way well and is halfway acceptable from the wear (my dad had once the michelin alpine on it is a top mature but since we used 2 garnitures winter tires with similar kilometer performance) would be grateful for each tip 😉 I only know one thing round though that a new mature must come with the semperit sp ort grip am I absolutely dissatisfied was driving with a car with conti ntal TS 810 the other day and I have to say the dinger really had a bobendhalt but does anyone know how they are from the wear?

3 Problems Audi 80 B4
Hi guys! Now I’ve got my Audi 80 T89 driven together and total damage has increased to n B4 2.0 with 115 hp. I’m very happy with the purchase, pulls (compared to the other car) very well and besides, I like the better designed trunk (Limo) a lot better, not only because it is bigger than the 89. However, I have 3 problems: 1. The engine sometimes jerks extremely (when driving at constant speed, possibly the relay problem could be the one described here. 2. The clock somehow doesn’t really work. It doesn’t work, but it doesn’t shine (the digits), had that with my old also for a short time but then no idea why suddenly again ok. 3. my radio (blue point Daytona) seems to be constantly running in night mode (the switch on lights up even when the car is switched off) also the light-summer goes off when the driver’s door is open the engine and the radio is on. Do I need a possible adapter to connect there? I think (hope) that Is so far everything, I would be very happy about a few tips. MfG, Stefan

B4 front axle “Knorpelt und Knuckt”
Hello together, the front axle “Knorpelt” always louder. The TÜV had nothing to complain about in May. When turning on a farm driveway where the axle has to spring is really loud. On bad road straight ahead it “knocks” meanwhile already. Is there a main suspect that I can make myself??

HELP: After performance increase only 180km/h peak???
hello I have a 1995 coupe 2,0L 8V ABK. despite all the advices I did not do anything I started screwing at the performance and the end of the song, for now, is already standing up. but why? have given the car a fan bender a larger throttle flap built in and the petrol pressure on 4bar. but still keep the org. camshaft. now he pulls through the bottom of it completely but above it goes out to him and at 180km/h is close. does anyone know what that might be?
