  • Please HELFEN handlebar flaps in the scooter

    Hello, I would urgently need some expert tips from you. The whole thing started with the fact that I recently noticed that my front brake is no longer fixed, that much of me by a clapping, when driving over small bumps. I found out that a screw has already loosened and that the brake was only sitting crooked on the disc and sanded the brake cheeks on the disc. I then renewed the complete brake caliper. This also works perfectly again, but I now have a very strong vibration in the whole front axle. This is expressed by a very strong flickering front light when driving fast. When driving slowly (approx. 30-50 kmH) the handlebar starts to shake extremely strongly when I release it. I had first read on the internet that this could also be on the steering head bearings and have already changed them, unfortunately nothing changed at all in the situation. my question about what it could be? Can a bent brake disc be the reason, purely optically I can find nothing. Or is it possibly due to the fork or the wheel bearings? Unfortunately, I can’t afford a repair in a workshop… Can you help me? Or give me tips on how to examine the individual components for functionality? Thank you for your help in advance!!!

  • Speed cameras in the Navi of the Kia Sportage PHEV

    I have had the new Kia Sportage PHEV since last week. In the settings of the Navi I was able to activate the radar control warning under warnings (see photo), with settings warning time, distance. It also worked two days. After two days the wheel alarm disappeared without having changed anything. I then set the system to factory settings and re-enter it. See since the radar alarm could be activated again. Two days later everything went away. Is there any way that anyone can explain it?

    Hello everybody, I’m looking for a 640i. It’s supposed to be the Facelift model from 2015. The purchase is not planned in 2 weeks, I’m currently watching the market which are offered for vehicles. The selection is not really big in all of Germany at the moment. For example, I don’t intend to drive 800km. It doesn’t matter if GC, Coupe or Cabrio is flying out, because it’s a lot more expensive and little is offered by the GC. ug will be my daily, i.e. about 12-15,000km a year. My first question is, which equipment do you think are mandatory, which Nice to have? I filter on Mobile from 2015, but some of it will still be displayed VFL. Facelift is best recognized by the LED headlights in the description, is that right? I want M-package and the Flappennauspuffanlage. Is the exhaust system series at the Facelift or do I still have to make sure in the vehicle description that the dabe i is? If this is not standard, then it reduces the number of vehicles offered.   • Sailing doesn’t work on my Mildhybrid-Sonic – Kia Stonic Mild-Hybrid 6-speed manual gear

    Hello! I recently bought 120 HP-Stonic as daily registration (EZ 14.04.2024) brand new with 6 km and got on 30.04.2024. Since then I have driven more than 1000 km (2x longer highway routes with just so 100-120 km, city and overland) and I have not yet managed to sail once, it is only recuperated. Had from yesterday to today the car overnight at the dealer and the batteries were charged as well as it went, but it still does not work. Had previously also sc hon other dealers and Kia themselves contacted by phone, but no one could tell me what that was due to (Kia themselves were people on the phone who had never heard of the sailing mode and were not cooperative). =O Is it possible that the sailing mode only works after some time and by frequent recuperation or is there a defect? Have tried in eco mode and without cruise and limit, at all possible speeds and as soon as I go off the gas always the enginebr It’s only at about 30km you can feel a mini-buckler and have the feeling of the engine goes off and you roll there (then seems to be the so-called roll-out function). How is/was that with you? Did the sailing work immediately at the beginning or did it take a while until the time worked out? my dealer thinks we have to watch this and he stays on the topic, but I’m actually a little impatient already, since I am not in any test gel It had that it doesn’t work from the beginning.   • Kia Sportage missing properties after new purchase

    Hello together; I bought a new Kia Sportage. At an online dealer, where I could look at the vehicle myself and also picked it up. There were assured among other things lane keeping assistant, traffic sign recognition, speed limiter (tempomat is available), automatic driving light. Seller – is unfortunately 150 away – says, what is guaranteed according to purchase contract, would also be available. I had a Kia Niro before, so all these assistance systems are known to me. All attempts, I’m going to my Kia workshop next week and I’m trying to figure out what really exists in the car. Does anyone have any experience with it: Is it possible that these systems – why are “only” switched off (somewhere in a service menu)? I’m just annoyed and don’t want to wait until I get confirmation from Kia. It’s a re-import vehicle from Hungary. But with 5 kilometers. D I know all about it. I’m annoyed that the promised properties are not available and I hope somehow that the Kia workshop will tell me: “everything is only disabled – we can activate it”. What the seller would have to do in some way. Concrete question: can it be that by activating these systems could work? Much in today’s cars is software-controlled. In relation to it – it may be that due to the service life (the vehicle has been at home since September) or are there any sensors that simply have to be present and without which all this doesn’t work? That’s what I’m assuming. Camera in the windscreen seems to be present. But don’t really see them. My wife’s Rio has a well-visible camera at the top of the windscreen. My sportage “only” a black box, where the camera should be. I assume that the camera has the basic equipment. is to “activate” all this.     Hello and moin together, I’m new here in the forum. 10 months ago I bought a new Kia Sportage NQ5 – petrol 180 HP Mild Hybrid -. I love the car and reached the 15,000 km already in 10 months. With 4 weeks advance I signed up with a Kia partner for the 1st inspection and then pulled it through. When I then held the bill in my hands, I had to swallow first, it cost me 379,12€. Primarily the oil is changed and a small pass. What do you think? Best regards Karsten PS: The free car rental and the car wash were added because they didn’t have all the spare parts in stock despite the appointment and I had to come by again the following day…

  • Experience with the 7 year guarantee?

    I would be interested to know how your experience with the 7-year guarantee is. I have heard, for example, that kia has been embarrassingly careful not to exceed the inspection intervals (I mean now not 5000 km, but maybe 500 km or so.) Is that true, that the guarantee is forfeited, for example, if you drive with 30,500 km to the first inspection, although you should have been there already at 30,000 km?. Of course, the manufacturer is certainly the rules, but would that mean, that for example after 2years (i.e. 30,500km = 500km too much, the remaining 5year guarantee has expired)
