Servus, we are looking for a new car as a family coach. Mainly my wife drives with it short distance (10 km), on weekends are put back as longer routes and we want to drive with it on holiday (2 children). Currently is to choose the Octavia 3 or the Seat Leon ST. Passat is too big, Golf 7 will drive already as 5 door and A4 is too expensive (liked however best 🙂 ) If possible the car should cost around the 15 TEUR, max. 2-3 years old and a as low as possible La Question: – Currently there are many diesels on the market, which are partly as expensive as a petrol engine and often also have better equipment. Does it make sense to buy a diesel with one of the current diesel engines and every year only 10-15TKM? Bzw. where are the disadvantages, except with the tax? Do I have to think about the particulate filter at the moment at short distance? – there are known problems with the 1.2 or 1.4 gasoline engines of the two candidates in particular. Does anyone else have any good advice to consider or an argument why I should choose Leon or Octavia? Thank you in advance

Problem after buying a car.
Hello. Hope here someone can help me. I bought a car yesterday from private. Tüv had expired in July. According to the seller a few crossbars would be made. Therefore for me no problem. So yesterday the car fetched. On the return drive after about 200 km motor control lamp. Well, who knows maybe the installed gas system swallowed itself. Errors deleted and further. Another 200 km further again warning lamp. Well Nachm tüv ehh goes to the workshop. So today to the tuv. : Not to exist, whole engine oily, crankshaftsimmering leaks and Lambda regulation does not work. So I called the seller. He says he knows nothing about nothing… He refers to purchase contract entry -> bought as seen In the purchase contract, however, there are defects: none of this but just a few repaintings. So I called the workshop where the seller has always taken the car. So I am told that the car was presented to the tv in May and the defects that I have already been known and therefore the car did not get a tuv. I asked the sellers explicitly about problems like oil loss and whether the gas system works perfectly. Was everything answered with no problems. I looked under the car but it is relatively deep so that I could not see any oil and the motor control lamp was also not up to. Is there thus fraudulent deception? Greetings

Buyers don’t come – a scam?
Hello, I’m trying to sell our car. I also posted an ad on ebay-kleinanzeigen and mobile.de. We don’t lack offers and interested parties. Several dates have already been made for viewing and also for purchase, with various interested parties. Of these 7 dates, however, not one has been noticed until today. I don’t understand that. You write or phone for hours, sometimes agree on the price, another time for viewing. This is really frustrating and I feel like I’m being fucked up. What’s that supposed to mean? That’s a lot of trouble to get to the date and address, for nothing? I don’t understand these potential buyers. It wouldn’t be dramatic if you changed your mind, a short info and good! bar means it would be a trick to wear us out so that we can sell the car at a mock price… Can that be? How are your experiences with it? Is it just us? What are we supposed to do? That’s how we never sell our car…

Buyer accuses covert defects
Hello dear forum, I’m a bit bald this morning because I received an e-mail about my sold vehicle…. Brief history: I sold a small car with repaired accident damage two months ago (driver’s door). I explained this damage, explicitly explained the accident and what was done and here also demonstrated that the door of the car sometimes does not close so perfectly when you shut the door too weak. The whole thing is also as repair two days later the buyer called me and said the passenger window would drive from time to time “high down” if you steered it from the driver’s side. I told him quite frankly and honestly I forgot to mention this mistake because he only appeared sporadically and even offered to have this checked at my expense, but he said it would be half as wild and otherwise he would report again. I thought it would be all done now. t and read now (more than two months later) an email with the cheeky subject “hidden defects” in which he accuses me the problem would have become much worse since then (the windows would both go down by themselves! although no one is sitting in the vehicle) and at the driver’s door would loosen a hinge that he would have to keep following…. Now the email reads after an indirect demand I would have offered a repair at that time and since the mentioned points become so worse h At the driver’s door, I personally believe that the risk is there in case of an accident damage and that I can’t do anything for worse. With the window electrics I had offered directly after sale and there was nothing left, now that the problem is spreading I don’t see myself in the guarantee to be able to do this anymore. Has anyone ever had similar experiences with such cases?

used diesel for long distance up to 12.00€
Hello together, as the title of my thread already says, I am currently looking for a diesel vehicle up to a maximum of 12.00€. The following information should be noted: – largely long distance on the highway – approx. 45,000km mileage per year – no special space required (preferably a vehicle of the golf class) – at least 110hp and 2 liters displacement, better would be 140hp – color, equipment etc first of all no matter I hope you can start something with this information. For “secret tips” and gen I am open to some suggestions, I have not limited myself to golf and BMW 1s. I would also like to know whether you can generally give the tip to look for younger cars, which however have more kilometers down or prefer to rely on older vehicles with less mileage. Thank you in advance!

Dealers who don’t give any warranty…at 120TKM!?!? Tachodriver or what? Legally portable?
Hello to each other, I’m looking for a used long-distance station wagon. It’s supposed to be the kilometer without end. Therefore, only models that are extremely reliable come into question for me. So I’ve had some dealers on the phone in the last days and got all sorts of strange statements… A dealer had an Accord, BJ. 08, 120TKM and the conditions… – trial trip ONLY on the premises up to 50km/h. -KEINE warranty. Statement:Is at the dealer’s discretion…!? …and that was a Honda dealer who wants to sell a Honda… Now I got the statement from some that they do not give any guarantee for a car with such “low” mileage. These are all models that like to rewind 300~500TKM without twitching with the eyelash and then can still be sold well. Is this legally correct? Could you display them for this? Is there a car dealer review portal? The first thing that comes to mind: which turned on the speedometer? Please tell us if you have heard such statements, and if you know in the right whether this can be true. Addendum: The cars are also offered explicitly to end users without trade! Thank you already in advance!

2years convertible with hardtop as second car for max. 6.000€
I thought that I would change our second station wagon into a convertible. It is planned to buy the vehicle at the beginning of 2018 and to drive 1-2 years. Under 10,000 per year and throughout the entire year. I have already looked for used cars from BJ 2006: : BMW E93 from 10,000€ : Opel Astra TwinTop for less than 5,000€ purchase price is less the problem, but the swabe in me struggles with the not foreseeable follow-up costs: roof, transmission, engine, electronics,… I don’t like to rely on my luck that everything will go well. The low price speaks for the Opel. Spare parts are good to procure and in case of a capital damage I move it for a 1,000er to the parts recycler. The E93, on the other hand, is too expensive to simply deport it in case of major defects. And I don’t want to be dependent on additional insurances like e.g. GGG guarantee in case of damage. The predecessor E46 is hardly unbased and if then not much good Tiger than the E93. But he is older (rust risk?), has only one fabric roof and is burdened with the “correct 3” image. Leasing starts the “naked Muddi” at over 300€/month. And also buy with annual car and after two years I will lose more than 5,000€. So only the Opel remains or do you see any other options?

Weighting / evaluation of extras for merchant payment
Servus, a dealer purchase price can be determined online quickly, e.g. at DAT There you enter only the very general data for a naked basic model and get price X for it. But now my car still has a top equipment like a certain model line, large Navi, head-up display, sports seats, panoramic roof etc. usf. Is there a guideline, what you can expect or demand on-top, so plus X%? How are your experiences?

First car with special situation: MINI with special discount or polo?
Hello together, the question has already been discussed several times and I know that many say that Mini= driving fun and Polo= reason. Now I have the following situation:I drive already more frequently car (family, DriveNow, etc.), but for the first time buy my own with insurance in my name (start so above…). Therefore I wanted to buy a used Polo o.Ä. at first and then after 3 or 4 years something from the premium class. “problem” at the decision: I get on BMW u.A. nd / or MINI about family members 25 – 28% discount on new cars. If I would now take a used polo from the dealer with warranty and under 60k kilometers, I pay about 12 – 15k and there is not really much inside. With a new MINI (One petroler) I pay with some extras maybe 20k. What would you guess? Does a MINI pay with 28% discount? Or is the value loss still too high? I drive 80% city by the way. I plan the “first own” car also not 10 years ago If the insurance will be cheaper, I’ll be happy to take advantage of something nicer. Thank you!

Car deregistered – vehicle license lost/dismissed
Hello, I bought a car and unfortunately lost the ticket (certificate of approval part 1) on the way in front of the house and found it later tearing (unfortunately only 1/3 of it is left, the rest is missing…). Losing it was not particularly clever of me, is already aware… The car is logged off and I did not intend to allow it because it is for someone else and wants to let it abroad. Unfortunately, the Frzg letter (certificate of approval part 2) is not enough but it also has to be the vehicle ticket to allow the registered car abroad. What should I do now? I live in Berlin, according to the registration authorities online, that a “lost” vehicle ticket can only be replaced if the vehicle is registered, but not if it is already registered. And I certainly will not allow the car extra for one day to register it again on the same day because of the papers. that costs a lot of money again. you think there I don’t know if I’m going to be able to print out the ticket and not devalue it or stamp it as invalid ? I absolutely need it.. I have an appointment with the citizen’s office tomorrow (you can also replace it there), but now I already know I’ll get up early tomorrow for free and get on my way there… the car doesn’t come from berlin, should I rather go where it was registered and logged off ? do you think you’re printing it again from the ticket? thank you for your answers.
