Hello Grandland X driver, have since March this year bought a Grandland X 1.5 Turbo D,130hp, Ez 5.2020, with just under 17tkm. Since then I have had some problems which have been removed after several workshop visits, e.g. A column coverings, timing belt exchange ink water pump due to roaring noises etc. Now for a few days I have noticed when outside is 0 degrees or colder, when starting the engine has hard start process, but then knocks properly when jumping. If he is starting up, 0,xx seconds later RASSES he would say for about 0.5seconds and then is gone. First oil change was made when the car had just under 17tkm, then I drained all about 10tkm of oil and refilled it.Do something like this because I don’t want to drive 30tkm with the same oil. Now the car has 42tkm. What could that be, chain of camshafts? Are there any problems? Has anyone had such a problem?

Sign identification
Have a Grandland, new registration 27-06-2024 without navigation system. The first months he has recognized all signs concerning the speed, also local signs. I live in a settlement where at the entrance there is a rectangular sign with printed text and the indication of 15 km/h, even here he indicated the speed. On parking places where there was a speed limit he indicated. After some time he did not indicate all speeds and also end of the B Then it went some time again and for 5 weeks it is not right anymore. If I have a limit in front of a place he takes it with him until it is eventually gone and I only have the Red Circle with 2 strokes. Have had the Grandland in the workshop with the result that everything is in order and that the Grandland can not recognize a place sign and I imagine that that something like that already went on. They say he only recognizes with the camera and has no internal data . If someone has the same problem or if you have the recognition or have a tip I’m new here and please check it out if I have not asked quite correctly or given too little information.

Well-known topic: Timing belts in oil
Servus together, I have a (pricely good) offer for an Opel Grandland, gasoline 1.2 from 09/24 (day registration with 100 km). Does this guy have the famous timing belt in oil? What about the Mildhybrid (48V)? (also from 09/24) – is that the same engine (with timing belt in oil)? Thank you for your answers 🙂 VG, Alex

Which Dometic roof climate ex works (HOBBY)
Hello together, we have ordered a Hobby Premium 495 UL with some extras at the end of last year. Among other things also a roof air conditioning system by Dometic from the accessories list of Hobby. Now, however, I have read that there are different large models, which are used depending on the construction length. But now I am a bit stubborn, because in the price list of Hobby there is only one price for all caravan types. Can someone tell me here which Dometic for Hobby ex factory verb because I’m afraid that they’ll build a sub-sized air conditioning system, where only a lukewarm little air out of the slits gets thanks and greetings, fasy

Hello dear user .. Weswas I had in December 13 a traffic accident. I drove quite normally with about 50 kmh on my track suddenly another vehicle has changed dan into my lane and with her rear right side wall jerked me at the front left (cot wing bumper) The accident was taken up police the opposite side also did not discount large and I did not see him the police gave me also right finally I can not there r. The whole ran dan over a lawyer, who gave all this to the insurance company, the insurance company again commissioned an expert who looked at the scene of the accident and my car.. Today after about 5 months write a letter that I slow down the accident by lightly could have prevented .. and the one partial debt of 50%, quite honestly what’s that crap! What can I do for it if I drive on my track and someone suddenly changes into my track … Unfortunately my lawyer is on vacation and I don’t know how to help myself … The against insurance is the AXA I would be happy for any helpful answer. Tires and co.,…
Hi, guys! Have a few questions for you again I hope you can help me: -) I noticed that there are always so colorful stripes on new tires! What are they supposed to do? To see if they are new? Don’t you see this at the DOT No.? -) Why do you slip with wide tires rather? Because they have more attack surface? -) What exactly does retreaded tires mean? What happens to the old tires, how do they get them floated again? -) For what reason are new cars not More tax-free? Does this have the reasons? -) How does it cause head seal damage? Due to too little lubrication? -) Does it have a disadvantage or advantage that you turn on the generator/ alternator while driving? Did you hear that the alternator is charging the battery? Would that even be advantageous for the battery???? -) Is it good to step on the brakes every now and then? To reduce the squeaking? And if so, why does it reduce the squeaking? -) Can you also apply 14 inches instead of 15 inches? -) What are ABS rims? What is different to “normal” rims? -) Are there advantages in the control chain in contrast to timing belts? Or are there disadvantages? Thank you for your answers! Greetings S ́Mirile

good old “Wackelelvis”!!
I hope you don’t rip my head off now, because I dedicate a thread to IHM. I just found my old wobblelvis when I broke down! You certainly remember the cool advertising – wonderful! But remember that he has disappeared from all Audis for quite some time. Do you think I could put it back on my front window or is it too daring and old fashioned? Of course I mean the original, directly from Audi, golden Elvis, no t for example the silver-coloured imitations or even the wobble-boals – woh! Maybe some of you will come along and help this boom to a revival. That would be a change to the small boxer gloves, children’s shoes & Hawaiian flower chains on the inside mirror! Write me your opinion, would interest me! Michel.

Insurance does not pay the estimate
Servus, some time ago a passer-by thought he had to stumble into my CLK and with his wristwatch 2 beautiful dents hit in. After all, he reported all this to his insurance company etc…. I went to the Mercedes workshop and got me an estimate about 1150€. I then sent it together with pictures of the damage in copy to the insurance company (AXA). After a few weeks a reviewer of the insurance company came and examined the damage. tzt is recently a report fluttered into the house, which does not even come near the Mercedes-cost estimate…about 670€ for everything. Now the question is how do I proceed? What would you do? Thank you already for helpful answers
