    Hello I’m driving a Skoda Roomster until now – and somehow it did to me Skoda. 🙂 Now with child and cone it should be a Skoda Yeti.   • S8 or S6 as a fun car?

    Hello, the questions are meant seriously and I would like/hope on “relevant hints” 🙂 An older Audi with some strength for the weekend. Wish No. 1 would be one of the last RS6 from 2003/2004 (series C5), however I have no idea what the BiTurbo (450 hp) says to so much short distance and whether a “normal” V8 with only 360 hp for my requirements is not “more meaningful” ??? As a travel limousine the S8 (for me) is much more valuable and nicer than the S6 … is he also on the country road (for his size) sporty ??? The car is only meant to travel to the place of work and back, every year should come together a maximum of 15,000 km. Most of it is driven in the city (70%), the rest is mainly motorway. Important are above all a low consumption and high reliability or low repair vulnerability and low follow-up costs. Air conditioning and ESP should also have the car. Since I am 1.90m tall, there should also be enough space for the driver, otherwise there are no big requirements in terms of space, both back seat and trunk do not have to be generous. The search takes place in and around the Ruhr area – if someone here knows suitable offers always with it So far I have found e.g. a Chevrolet Spark, a Clio or also a smart. Budget: up to 2,500Euro Usage: 45km a day on the S tadtautobahn durability: hopefully 5 years (at approx. 15,000 km/year) My questions: Because of the budget, cars that were produced between 2000-2005 come into question and have between 50,000-90,000 km down. How should I capture the balance between age and consumed kilometers? Is it better to produce a car with 90,000 km but in 2005 (12 years old), or to take one with 50,000 km down, but produced in 2000 (17 years old)?     On My Opel I downloaded and played the new map material.You have to re-enter your previous date !! But the data-which are allowed abroad-have no access. In Austria an FHO has made the settings for me. In the upper bar appears a red triangle, one can set kaann which kind vo BL . But there is no database available.In Austria,Slovenia Croatia and Poland the triangle is there, soon in D it is gone. I drive across the border back there. I already emailed the service 3x, have a process number and then no answer. Are we already at VW ? The own citizen looks into the tube ! Does anyone have experience with the update ??

  • ECO mode in GLX

    Can someone help me with the following problem: After the drive has ended and the ignition switched off (key is still on, radio is on) appears in the display after about 3 minutes: “ECO mode is activated. The system is now shutting down.”. Then the radio goes off and can only be switched on again when the engine is started. Even if the ECO mode is disabled via the switch, which also controls the start/stop system, I get the same display and the radio goes off. How can I use the or can I not listen to a radio in the GLX if I wait for my wife in front of the doctor’s office? Or do I have to keep running the engine when I want to listen to the radio? My FOH was of the opinion that this was a safety shutdown in order to save the expensive (gel) battery ???
