Mostly city traffic with relatively short distances. Is there, also with regard to the fuel prices, the purchase of a TDI? Or because of the maintenance less.     Hello, after reading a lot about cheap car intermediaries here, I wanted to ask if someone had already had difficulties with the company APL. I would like to buy an A3 Sportback Ambition TDI in February 2008 and have put together my desired vehicle via the configurator on the Audi side. Come with everything I like so much to just under 37,000 €. Now I have heard by chance from the company APL, where I could get the car around 500€ cheaper . Maybe someone from the Berlin area has a tip, whether I can get a strong discount at an Audi dealer in Berlin or Brandenburg? How much can you beat out at all? With the sum you always have some concern to buy via an intermediary. But APL does not want a down payment or any other payment, does it? Since I would want to pick up my vehicle at the factory, I don’t need to worry about a re-import, I guess. Is it worth it because of a facelift to wait for the car purchase?   • Versch. Tyre sizes ex factory on the same rim: TÜV registration possible?

    The ordered Seat Ateca (equipment “Xcellence”, 2WD) is delivered as 2WD on the factory side with 215/50 R18, at the 4WD with 225/50 R18 (on the same rim, the 4WD has lower track gauge). Since I intend to switch to full-year tyres after delivery, but there are only 225/50 R18, I would have to show this size at the TÜV (COC of the 2WD unfortunately does not include the 225er). Which documents are required for this or takes the TÜV as the basis the factory data and evaluates the Rest “individually”? What costs can be expected?

  • Problem with tyre entry

    Hello! I bought Borbet A 9jx16 ET 15 with 215 40 R16 tyres for my Audi 80 B4…fit in the wheel box, nothing grinds, actually everything should fit…so far so good. The next day I had an appointment with the TÜV to register but he told me something about the tyres the abrol circumference is too small…blablabla… ! Then he said if I put 225 45 R16 89V on it everything fits and he can enter it to me. Well … tires on it… looked shit out and slo are totally on the wheel box when the car is fully occupied!!! Can you do nothing that the 215 tires where were previously registered ? slowly all this becomes too stupid for me … can someone help me ?? MfG. Markus

  • Audi 80 2.0E – Engine very tough

    Hello, today wanted to speed up my car strongly and I noticed that the engine will be very tough from about 3900 rpm even though I pressed the pedal to the end. After c.a 4500 revolutions it is no longer fun to turn the engine up because I feel it is not turning up anymore. It is as if the car is pulled from behind, but the engine fights against it. The acceleration is thus noticeably bad. The question is now whether it is due to the mileage of 275000km and an old it is normal from 19 years, or if something is wrong with the engine.
