  • DEH – P88 RS + Phantom power + VW = poor reception

    Hello, I have installed the Pioneer DEH – P88RS in my Passat 3b. In between there is such a phantom feed. Unfortunately the reception is not good. The station search does not find a transmitter. If I manually set up a strong transmitter the reception is bearable, but not good. I tried it without a taptom feed, it is not much different, it feels a little worse. Here was the deposit however 3000€ + 42 months duration and 17,500 km p.a.. My question now is, which alternatives to this offer exist and whether this is a good offer from your point of view? I need a car as soon as possible and unfortunately have no time to wait for a self-configured one.
