  • Air loss on the valve…

Hello together, I have registered a flat foot with my Alfa-Oldtimer with horror this morning. Wheel removed and can find no damage to the (quasi new) tires. So the old-school method used: tires pressed under water and looked for bubbles. And these rose up at the valve edge, so not from the valve opening but between the aluminium rim and valve socket (rubber). Now I think about how to get this close again. If the first possibility to the workshop would be f ahren – tire dismantling – valve disassembly – new in – tires again – balancing – finished. Is of course time-consuming… Maybe it also brings something to empty the tire – valve seat a little shaking – re-pump and hope that it does something… do you think that could work? Or breakdown spray…? I have never had such damage and therefore have little idea how the valve is sitting in there. Are old aluminium wheels and there it is of course possible that the seat is no longer so one hundred percent plan is… Best greeting, jo

  • ABE… I don’t kapiers

Hello together, bought a new Seat Leon ST and wants to buy winter bikes now. Only 195/R15 I want R17 rims and found them with 5×112 7.5 R17H ET50. I would like to have 205/50 R17 tyres on them. The SEAT report only lists 225/45 R17 91V for this rim dimension. However, the ABE of the rim manufacturer lists the combination 205/50 R17 with the rim as possible and not subject to registration. with the ABE of the rim manufacturer in the glove compartment and don’t have to worry about any missing insurance cover? Thank you for your help in advance.

  • Do the tires fit?

Hi Since my mom bought a new car and now I don’t need the winter tires anymore I wanted to ask if someone can tell me if I can build it with me or if the TÜV or so complains So there are 205/55R16 91H In my vehicle license is 205/55R16 91W. So they would have to fit without registration or? Or do I still have to pay attention to the axle load? If so where do I find it? Hope you can help me

  • How old is my tires?

Hello everyone! I hope I’m in the right forum this time I bought my car in 2015 with Vredestein Snowtrac5 – winter tyres. However, I’m not sure how old the tyres are. Even though they are 99% from the year 2015 too ÖAMTC and also my Volvo dealer these opinions are. My Volvo dealer even kindly contacted the previous owner, but the previous driver of my car no longer lives, so only his son gave this information. And a the mechanic at the ÖAMTC was sure they were from 2009 until I showed him the 1915. So my question. Could someone be so nice and tell me how old these tires are (below in the picture)? Maybe someone drives the same. MfG qwertzmax

  • Kia Ceed Reviews

Hello, I have taken the Kia Ceed as new car or day registration into the short choice. At the moment I have two options, which I would like to look closer at. Once the 1.0 T-GDI with PDC is at 14,250€ and the 1.4 liter version is at 13,400 € both EU-imports. Seems to be both quite decent offers. That the turbo more splashy is obvious. Unfortunately I will not be able to drive both. What experiences do you have with the Ceed in ? What do you have? for experience with the 7 year warranty ? Supposedly the inspections should be free ? True only to the working hours, or ? Already many thanks in advance for your comment VG MerRen

  • Accident. Where original (or comparable quality) KIA Headlights + Foglights?

Hello, last week someone drove me into the car when I was shopping. The left side is damaged. The headlights and the fog lights have been damaged and these have to be renewed. No note on the car, according to the police no one has seen or reported anything. I drive a KIA Ceed JD (1260/ACV) from 2013. And I need now said left headlights and left fog lights new. At KIA itself these are certainly very expensive. Since I’m at the moment I don’t know which ones I have installed at the moment, but I think these are the original ones of KIA. Do you see/notic this when I put in the headlights of another brand on the left side? Thanks and a beautiful Sunday, Rainer

  • Circuit

Hello Slowly my car really annoys me. I for 6 weeks the XCEED. About my problems with the increased air pressure at pickup, the crooked plastic cover at the tailgate and the failed repair I had reported. In addition, since the beginning of the R gang. This was almost fixed. Only very rarely goes in the 2nd attempt. You set the circuit again. Now it happened to me yesterday already for the 3rd time that I wanted to start the car and the inserted But the lever was completely fixed. Only in the 4th attempt I got the neutral position. Not without power but not brutally. When driving it switches normally. No scratching and squeaking. I think the workshop is going to crash. Just like me soon. In the net one reads there with the symptoms of gear damage. The XCEED is such a nice car. But that’s just annoying. Oh yes. The track was also delayed at delivery. Fixed 😉

  • Total disappointment

Hello, yesterday I visited the R class long and short and “sitted”. – Maximum disappointment. I would define both room feeling and workmanship as rather modest. The careless processing strongly reminded me of the initial times of the M-Class. I completely incomprehensible why in row 2 only single seats are offered. No wonder the DC now rams the thing over leasing special conditions. What should I say – I renounced the Probefa offered to me Hrt and was happy to sit in my XC90 again. I guess I just have to wait for the GL. The R-Class doesn’t survive two years of production without significant changes. Could be a similar “knuller” as the Vaneo. Gruss Nusso

  • Gear change rough and according to Yamaha R6 2003

Hi guys, I hope I get some suggestions. For some time now I’ve noticed on my box that the gear change is rough and loud, even during the ride. Know me technically quite well and have disassembled the clutch today, I couldn’t detect any flaws, all the discs still have decent profile and the clutch basket has minimal notches. Before I join now and get a complete clutch set I would like to know what else can be responsible for it. I put washers behind the clutch springs to get a little more tension on the springs. It seems to me that it has got a little better but still not really good. I am grateful for every tip! MfG KC
