  • X-MAX 125 2017 moves to the left

Hello dear Yamaha community I introduce myself briefly. Up to now I have been active mainly in the BMW forum. Now I have bought a 2017 Yamaha X-MAX 125. I come from Zurich and enjoy the weather ๐Ÿ™‚ To the problem: My X-MAX moves to the left, which means that the scooter tilts to the right. The workshop rebalances the tires, checks the steering head bearing and thinks it is normal, certain tolerances, probably I do not sit in the middle, and so on. For me it is not acceptable, the scooter has a guarantee and should drive straight ahead on its own, no fall, only one year old and 2000KM. Free-handed driving is only possible if the upper body is about 10cm to the left outside of the center. That’s not a little. Of course, you should not drive by hand ๐Ÿ™‚ Is only for test purposes. Does anyone have useful information? What can it be on? Wrong settings from factory? The brake system is on the left side, it can we (I put the scooter on the middle stand, the steering wheel straight, then I push the rear wheel down, and the steering wheel immediately pulls strongly to the left side). I’m happy if someone has experiences and solutions. That the Yamaha X-MAX pulls to the left and does not want to know much about the guarantee, takes away the joy of the otherwise very beautiful X-MAX. Thank you.

  • Purchase advice Supersporter R6 vs. GSX-R vs. ZX6R

Hello community, for the current occasion I turn to the experts here. I’m about to make my driving license for the motorcycle. (I’m allowed to drive open) Since I’m on the lookout for potential motorcycles just before the tests. I like the optically the super athletes best. Therefore, the narrow selection falls on the Yamaha R6, Suzuki GSX-R 600 or 750 or the Kawasaki ZX6R. (In the order) I’ve heard from a friend that it makes little sense, a (My talent and motivation to screw is also limited). Can someone tell me about the respective motorbikes, as far as the inspection intervals are concerned, where are the children’s diseases? When are those from the factory set up and how much does that cost about? I think it will be similar with everyone. But maybe someone has current invoices lying around. Since I don’t have any appearance yet, it is not possible for me to do a test drive but if i I would like to buy it in advance. (A review is done before by a well-known mechanic). What do you think I have to invest here for a proper maschiene? Of course I have a price idea but would like to know your opinion about it. I thank you for the help. P.S. Maybe there is also one or other from Dormagen and surroundings for the exchange of information.

  • Dependence of compression on piston ring play

Hello Motor-Talker, I would like to ask you about your estimate. Imagine the following fictitious case, there is no real problem: You would have an excellent 125ccm engine with 5000km on the clock. This engine should have for example 11Bar compression. The 11 bar also reaches it and the engine is disassembled. Now we assume that the piston ring game should be 0.2mm. Also this is the case. The question about the fictitious case: How would the compression change, if one now in 1/10mm steps, the piston ring play by grinding down to 5.0mm would increase? Or what is really important to me: Would an engine with 5mm or even 7mm piston ring play still be running if the cylinder and piston dimensions are in the green tolerance range?

  • Received today detailed AURIS brochure – ***edited***

The AURIS brochure – **edit***MT-Moderation About the new AURIS was already written here a lot. What was shown in newspapers of him so far did not hit me from the stool. And now I got today the most detailed brochure with price list. The execution executive is only available from 124 hp. But if I want only 97 hp? Well then, with a few necessary small things like Bluetooth, parking aid, metallic, Navi, the small hรคs And then even with a consumption of 9 L Super inner-city and 166 CO 2 – emissions. For the money I also get a Superluxusgolf, Astra or Focus. They are cleaner. And cheaper, even at the LP. And Toyota is quite nimble with the discount. How can Toyota bring a completely new vehicle on the market with such a high CO 2 – emissions? In the first 2 months they will talk about super registration numbers – but you can talk about this. Let not be fooled – it is only the imagination vehicles.

  • Toyota Auris “Travel volume”

Hi people, since I am interested in a Auris among others, I would like to ask the experienced drivers about the volume of travel. My Auris is moved every day 80km over the highway. I pick up an economic speed between 120-130km/h. With so many motorway kilometers I would like to know how the generally perceived volume of travel of the engine + wind noise is. I would like to drive “comfortably” without the machine getting on my nuts, or wind- and wind- It is about the 1.6l engine, but I also like to listen to opinions about the 1.4l engine. Petrolers are in demand. On the occasion also like to post the fuel consumption (at this speed)! Thank you! MfG Laurooon

  • Aktelle Discounts with Toyota

Hello people, plan to buy me a new Auris. Now with the oh so great scrapping premium is offered again a certain arrogance at the car dealers, because the new car purchases rise slightly. What do you think I can knock out when buying an Auris 1.6 VVT-i. I hold 20% before and that without counting the scrapping premium! The dealers try: List price scrapping premium %Discount!!! NE! NE! Math we can do well! It must be: List price %Discount scrapping premium!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Don’t fall for it. So what do you think? How much discount are there? Experiences? Opinions? MfG Laurooon

  • Blinker on CV is crazy

Since today the turn signal on my CV plays crazy: No matter which side I blink to, the turn signal goes very fast and the relay ticks very loudly. I first thought that a bulb is defective, but that’s not so. All pears OK. Warning turn signal goes normal. That was today noon. Tonight the vehicle started and looked to the right at the first intersection – turn signal goes back to normal. Then left blink – turn signal is racing in front of it, at right blinking now again. that’s it? Relay broken? I made an appointment for tomorrow in the workshop but they always set up like this and everything lasts forever. Maybe I can help with the troubleshooting thanks to your hints……? That costs time again which I don’t have at the moment! I think the worm is really in the car. I already cried after the predecessor today

  • On the subject of “Auris”

I have been watching the Toyota Forum page for a long time and I noticed that there are hardly any threads about the Auris anymore. No one complains anymore and there are apparently no problems with it anymore! Maybe all the dissatisfied Auris drivers have changed the brand?? Or maybe everyone (like me) has agreed that the box is running?? What’s the matter?? Anyway, my rappelbox is still running reliably. Almost 90,000km are now without Massi The main reasons for this are still the too high consumption of 7.5 liters/100, the miserable and cheap processing in the interior where everything alternates and vibrates depending on the temperature, the poor quality of accessories such as radio, navigator, hands-free device, windscreen wiper with washing system, xenon, onboard computer, keyless, etc.. It’s all there and it works but no problems. Well, at least a reason to be satisfied! The Sensitive paintwork and the very high value loss of 17,000 euros in 2.5 years and 80,000km are now added as reasons. Rust also appears slowly here and there (motor room and underfloor). All this can not make a good workshop any better…..harm! I have replaced my leasing contract and drive the Auris again as long as before, so until warranty end (3+2 years). Does it last as long??? I am now practicing The Auris is the worst Toyota of all time and when I look at the Yaris or the Prius I find that the Toyota trend is going more and more towards “Billig.”…. So long Patrick

  • End Light Compulsory Austria – Fog lights allowed further?

Hello people, question above all to the Austrian colleagues here – with introduction of the light on the day duty in Austria 2 years ago was allowed (which was forbidden until then) with limitation light and fog lights (and without dipped light) to drive by day and good visibility. Now the light duty has fallen again, it is of course allowed to continue driving with dipped light, also automatic daytime driving light circuits (that have let some do) – where the dipped light or the But what I can find out (also not zb on the ร–AMTC homepage) is whether the manual (so not fixed installed) switching on of limit light and fog lights without dipped light in the day is still allowed in good visibility or again – as before the light duty – is forbidden. Did any of you hear about it? Lg Pete
