  • Large inspection due

    Hello together I have been proud owner of a TTCQ for two months. And I have a Prob .I bought the car from our Audi office in Do with warranty. Now I get a call from Audi two days ago regarding the exceeded inspection interval and the request that I should have the inspection carried out for the sake of my warranty, because in case of a warranty damage Audi would not provide any warranty. So I did, a little bit of Radau, how they can sell me a car with a guarantee, but there’s no guarantee on it. But no chance said the sales manager. Now my question: What does a large inspection cost at 60000 km and what does it contain. The master said about 600 € and told only what about air filters and windscreen wipers and so you don’t pay 600 € and v or I can change my windshield wipers myself. Or do I see this wrong !?!?

  • New G63 (W465) – Shock absorber defective?

    Hello together, I picked up my new G63 in Affalterbach the week before last – which was of course an absolute highlight!. Unfortunately, after about a week I noticed a poltern on the left, when I drove over unevenness. The noise occurs especially at speeds below 50km/h and then, if you do not drive at the same time each axle over a unevenness. It sounds like a component has played and would “poltern” against it.   • Sl R107 engine choice ??

    Hello, I’m thinking about buying a nice R107 because I’m already dreaming of it my childhood. Now I have no idea about the engines at all. He should not be a everyday car but honor what to be for weeks and the beautiful days of the year. Which engines are really recommendable? I think the 280er would be enough because racing can’t be done with brakes and suspension from 30 years ago anyway. But is the 280er also empfelenswert ? or rather a 350er ? i de nke the 450 does not have to be, but I just want to know which engine is really to be recommended or whether it is only a matter of taste ….? and what should I pay attention to ? so general weakness etc … thank you in advance ….

  • Leave the car standing longer – what to do?

    Hello, I have the SL 560, from the end of the 80s. I would like to hear from you your experiences what it is like if you leave the car untied for a long time. What should you do with it no or little damage? I think that there should be enough gasoline in it so that nothing dries out in the tank of seals or what rusts; disconnect the battery; park dry and cover. One does just that, the other does so. But what would the facts be more correct 🙂 I red e park here already really from a long time. Maybe even unsubscribe, since it does not really make any sense financially. That would be months if not more than 1 year. Evtl also has information about parking possibilities to itself (Room Berlin). I wanted to hear from you before I contact Mercedes Benz directly.   • cylinder head gasket defective 🙁

    Hello guys, I bought yesterday a saab 9000 2,3L 194 ps with beautiful equipment and 220tkm for 180 euro … he has received many repereatures … .. what I noticed to this day, is that the upper front engine bearing is defective, the sky hangs, and I think (I don’t know yet) that the sun roof does not close properly. well and the much discussed topic of head seal … which is defective with him … and a few questions 1.) I know many screwdrivers , a llerdings have the fear because of control chain and saab is new land for the young … is the fear justified or could an opel mechanic easily (saab tool) change the control chain ?????? 2.) the cooling water compensation tank is empty up to about 1 cm oil sludge… is that normal with a head seal harmful ???? and how do I get all “cool components clean again ???? 3.) there are different strengths in the seal ? 4.) where do I order the material best ??? look forward to training r expert advice … thank you in advance

  • SRS problem

    Hello Saabfahrer, after repeatedly disconnecting and attaching the battery there is the following SRS problem with a Saab 9000 2.3 FPT, model and year 1995, after turning the ignition key into the position start SRS lights up for 4s, extinguishes 1s and lights up permanently afterwards. As can be read here several times in the forum, the error must be read and deleted by a Saab dealer. Nevertheless the following questions: 1. Can someone interpret the SRS problem due to the lighting? 2. Where will the SRS errors be physically splashed? In the motor control unit, in the SRS control unit, in the ABS control unit… or where else is the memory chip installed?? Thank you for any relevant note!

  • Cooler temperature?

    Mojen together, the radiator temperature indicator in my 9000er (BJ 97, 2.3 Turbo) is supposed to settle in the “middle of the field” according to the manual. But with my Saab the needle hardly moves at all (max. 5 – 10 mm from the bottom to the top). That was already from the beginning, the dealer thinks it is OK, the car has now 90,000km on it. Does anyone know the problem, or is it none at all? The cooler fan still starts, by the way, if I stand for example long in the traffic jam. Thanks already

  • not proud new Mondeo driver

    Yesterday I bought a Ford Mondeo, year 03/03, Turrnier TDCI with 130 hp. I actually (at least thought) well informed myself about the problems with the Mondeo. Also about the topic rust at the doors. During the visit I looked at all the doors and could not actually notice anything. When I cleaned the car once thoroughly, especially at the bottom of the doors, the result was of course: ROST on all 4 doors, sometimes stronger times weaker. Sorry, but like Can this happen with a 3 year old car?! I’m still driving a 7 year old Bora, WITHOUT rust. I read the Ford the cost of this rust problem, but only if you do the rust control regularly at Ford. That’s the problem now, the previous owner did this with Ford in 2004, but not in 2005, because he was in a free workshop. So Ford will be able to talk out nicely and I’ll probably stay at the expense. I’m really a I don’t think I’ll be able to find a “normal buyer” anymore….     Hello together, after four years of SL55, two amg-less years I finally hit again and bought a used SLS. two things I would like to optimize on this vehicle. Does any of you know which company produces the carbon parts for this car? I am looking for the engine compartment cover made of carbon, which as a first-hand part costs more than 6000 euros. That is definitely too much. And does anyone know which company produces the steering wheels for AMG? I have a special wish, de maybe someone can help me, also per pn! thank you and vg from Ulrich
