One question for you I have to have the first inspection, i.e. the entry inspection after 1000 km made mandatory with a brand dealer or can take over this also any other master workshop. I ask because I get an appointment with the brand dealer only in FOUR weeks, but the 1000 km have almost full and the tolerated leeway is just 200 km.

2.2l d-cat 177 hp are short-range poison?
Hello, I have experienced that the engine in my Corolla Verso Diesel 2.2 177 hp, short distances in the long run does not last. It would result in defective soot filters. Renewals of the oil strippers would be necessary, up to the replacement engine. My vehicle is driven daily to work and back each 13 km. Otherwise short distances between 5 and 10 km.On weekends also times 30 km at a time.Once a year 2500 to 3000 km holiday trip within two weeks and various family trips. My question is that my engine is at risk in my driving cycle, should I rather think about switching to a petrol engine again. By the way, the above statements came from Toyota workshop circles. For your opinion in advance Thank you very much.

Toyota Auris for 8473,– Euro?
Apparently, the Toyota Auris (Corolla successor) with a list price of 16.450,- Euro is now available with a discount of 7.977,- Euro or 48.4%. This would then correspond to an effective new car price for the Auris of 8473,- Euro, whereas even the prices of the cheap car brand Dacia do not seem at all cheap…… Here’s a link to the latest discount action for the Toyota Auris etc.:http://www.bild.de/…/with-these-models-save-they-am-most.html Itere information about this Toyota discount? Can you only participate if you leave your previous vehicle to the Toyota dealer for free in return? Or is there any other catch? Actually, it can only be called: “Go to the next Toyota dealer!” Or is this information just a false message and thus the worst BILD level? Greetings, Roland

Corolla has starting problems
Hello! I have a Corolla 1.4 Bj95 with 88hp. Sometimes the car has the problem that it doesn’t want to turn at all. So I plug the ignition key in, turn it, the lights go on but otherwise it doesn’t make a sound! So the starter doesn’t turn at all. Now my impression is that the starter relay has a Macke. Can anyone tell me where this is? Another thing is that the car has a retrofitted immobilizer. Can they react like that? Greeting, Michael

Toyota Corolla Verso Conclusion after 6 months
Hello, I have been driving the Corolla Verso team in black for 6 months now. When I got into the German dealer’s car it was about 23.500 Euro (list 28.500). The price was good – but I decided for a Danish model with roof railing for 18.500 Euro. I have been driving this car for 6 months now. Unfortunately, I am not as satisfied as I thought before: 1) The consumption is simply too high – if I drive very sparingly I can reach 7.5 liters – norm al are 8.5 liters – in today’s time in my eyes not portable!! 2) The tank is much too small 3) The car is very confusing despite Warner 4) The tank stop is already rusty – looks at least so positive is natural: 1) Beautiful car 2) The seats are good and you can also sit great on large distances At the moment I would say that I would opt for another car – but the car still has time to convince me. Greetings Sumajach

Gas in a lincoln?
hi us car community, who can help me with the following question? I think, my younger lincoln, more precisely a 78th town car, to convert to gas … he has a standard 460 engine which corresponds to 7.5L. can you convert these old v8s unproblematic to gas? or are there problems? if so which? has someone already gained experience? and if it would go, where could you let it be done in Germany? or is there still another way to save sprit … besides steh let … other carburettors and new bridge? with the 6.6l engines of ford the consumption is significantly lower. at the moment I am so at 25-30L … best thanks in advance … dennis

Engine damage
Here is a new, “stolzer?!” owner of a used R class! After I noticed oil stains in the garage, the DB workshop should check where the oil loss comes from. After a complex search it was set that the turbocharger (if I understood it correctly) was no longer equipped with its 3 screws (2 cannot be found, 1. Aborted; see picture) and was only kept in place by the loads. As a result the diselfuel (see picture) flowed down the engine block and d led to the oil stains. But what was worse was that the wheel from the turbocharger due to its self-vibration in the cylinder head has become metal abrasion (see picture) The DB workshop rightly says the metal abrasion is now well distributed in the engine compartment and will sooner or later lead to an engine damage; what I can imagine well. AT-Motor 14.000€ !!!!!! The engine is a 320 CDI built year 6/2006 with 146 tkm mileage DB-Checkheft. Please for help/ideas if the problem is known. st / Kulanz by DB is possible; etc. Thanks already for answers

Some questions about the R (350/500)
Servus with each other! I will probably have to get a new used car in the near future. I put a lot of value on the long-distance comfort, because I have to travel long motorway routes due to my service (about 20,000-30,000km per year depending on the location). Furthermore, I need space, lots of space, and in view of my personal wish- family planning, this would be the right space for a R class. I have already looked at the GL, but here fails. My questions: – Is it possible to upgrade the R 500 L with 388hp to LPG or LPG or LPG? – Can the third row of seats be lowered as elegantly as with GL, so that a flat loading area is available? – Did you have any problems with parking spaces, especially underground garage entrances? – Can you retrofit a rear camera? If so, what would that cost about? – I read here in the forum that it is supposed to rattle like in the R. Well, wi r have a vaneo in the family and there it is really terrible… I feel less like it, especially on long sticks. – What should you pay special attention to when buying used goods at the R? – Can you give me a clue about maintenance (inspection, brakes,…)? Thank you for your answers! Greetings, Tobias

R-Class – Problem: Automatic tailgate
Hello, I’ve been a proud owner of a R 320 CDi in full equipment for 6 weeks. I’ve had a problem with my automatic tailgate for 2 weeks. The trunk only closes automatically if I leave a door open… When doors are closed, the trunk doesn’t close properly. Do you have that too? Best regards Stephan

fine squeaking door noises
hello, have recently a R-350 L. since I am a changer from an E-270 cdi I enjoy of course the quiet in the vehicle. but: from the area of the doors come with light floor waves in city traffic always so light, fine squeaky noises. as soon as you drive the windows down only a few cm, the noise is completely gone. therefore I type on the sealing rubbers or window guides. have you made similar experiences and found a solution? maybe Talkum on the seal apply?! thank you for pointing out, because without this little pain-ache the sled is really fantastic in things comfort! 🙂 greetings hawaii
