Hello. I’ll get back here after a long time. So it’s about the following: The cold season has caught up with us very quickly. That’s why I need a set of new winter tyres with new aluminium wheels now. Now my question: Absolutely original from Mercedes Benz or can you just buy from the big tyre dealer next door? I don’t know about technology, but how exactly does the tyre pressure control work? Is this somehow with the tyre Is that why you can only change the original tyres with MB incl. aluminium? Questions about questions..I know.. Maybe my concerns are also absolute nonsense Well anyway. Thank you for your answers and everyone a nice Christmas wishes Christian, who is still very happy with his R-Class.

Hiiilllffe: Brake light does not go out
Hello dear, I have a problem, which I have already found here. But no solution. Sometimes my brake light does not go out, even if I pull the key (then I have to disconnect the battery every time). And sometimes it goes on suddenly at night (then the battery is empty afterwards). I changed the brake light switch. But that didn’t help. Then a mechanic buddy glued a piece of felt somewhere and everything looked good. It went on and off. And then it went on and off. This morning the battery was empty again. I assume that the brake light has turned on again (by the way: in the summer). Now I wonder if I might have to install a newer brake light switch (I have built one that looked exactly like the original). Would be great if someone had an idea!!! I only had the car for a few months, I am very happy to drive, but I don’t always like to disconnect the battery. Thanks and greetings, andi

Permanent Load Harmful?
Evening, I have read through some forums and have often read that permanent full load is harmful for every car. Durable full load is harmfully clear when you hang at the limiter with the speed and the accelerator touches the ground. But how does this work when I give full throttle, but the speed as with me lies at 4100 rpm? Is this also harmful or not? With my car is at 220 close and there is the speed just at 4100. Bad or can I do it quietly until the tan k is empty? Thanks euuuch

Wheel nuts mounted wrongly!
Hello everyone, I changed the tires today with a car from known and noticed on the last wheel that I had put all the nuts wrong around (110 nm) because the ball band was on the outside. The car was moved briefly to turn (with the faulty nuts), otherwise the car was standing. I had screws on my own car, and did not think at all that the nuts could sit wrong around. I immediately turned all the nuts and the steel rims n checked for damage. Couldn’t discover anything the nuts turned nicely into the rim and let themselves be turned in nicely. I definitely intend to follow the nuts again. I am however not a mechanic and have thought of having overlooked something. Are there possibly people who have experienced something like this before, as you have been going on since then? I guess there is a risk. What do you advise me to drive to a workshop and have it inspected? I would have the cost so to take over because it was my mistake, but that will certainly be unpleasant to the known. Thank you for answers.

Brake the drive shaft directly at the differential?
Meal together, yesterday I muffled my old “offroadkart” again ready to go. Since this big rear wheel was then driven only one wheel and one ran ball-bearing with, so that the shaft can stand up to the duration of the load. Now I have built in a differential and nothing changed on the brake. The cart pulls at the brake extremely to the right. I don’t remember if it was that way with the stored wheel. Now to my question: Is it possible that I turn an adapter plate and mount the brake directly on the differential opposite of the chain wheel and have a reasonable braking performance or should I rather add a second brake?

C-Class, B-Class, Octavia or Insignia; 10,000 – 20,000 €
Hello to the round, my old Astra is ticking around more and more… A new used person has to come here. Here my coordinates: work path (one distance) 32 km, of which 18 km (city) highway, 14 km city also various service trips via highway and rural road in total I come to 25,000 – 30,000 kilometers a year I am 2 m tall and accordingly I need space. I am looking for a car that offers me driving comfort, is reliable and is affordable in maintenance. I live in Berlin. I prefer C-Class, B-Class, Octavia and Insignia. Which would you recommend and why? My cash budget is between 10,000 and 12,000 euros. An additional financing of 250-300 euros per month is no problem. I therefore also wonder whether a young star is worth it? I could easily finance it in 2-3 years. Or do you think a “normal” dealer guarantee is sufficient. I am grateful for all the hints.

Switching CLIO II passing beam NOT POSSIBLE
Hello, and apologize in advance if I have lost my way into your forum as a MB driver. Nevertheless: I only wanted to change the H7 bulb on a R-Clio II. Had to surrender after half an hour because Renault can’t guarantee the accessibility of the lamp. Moreover, the lamp socket (the lamp doesn’t have to be clipped, but is encapsulated by a quarter of a revolution) is absolutely impossible. Tomorrow I will turn to Autodoof, who sometimes like this. I am supposed to look at simple things like changing a “dirty light bulb” on the vehicles. I find something so absolutely impossible, you imagine, the light falls out at night on the highway and you have to get a mechanic to change the thing…..

Clio Grandtour IV; Mobility guarantee during the new car warranty
Hello, my Clio Grandtour is EZ 30.08.2016, so I have a new car warranty. In addition, I have a Renault Plus warranty for 3 years. Today, as part of the maintenance A after 8000 km, I have received a section for the extension of the mobility guarantee by 1 more year for my service booklet. In addition, the invoice stated: “Mobility guarantee 12 months 17 EUR ” That surprised me very much, because on the homepage of Renault it says: Mobility guarantee With If you want to keep us mobile After the new car warranty has expired, you can carry out maintenance at a Renault partner in Germany, you will receive a new mobility guarantee, which is valid until the next maintenance. This way you can secure a vehicle life with mobility guarantees. With the Renault mobility guarantee, you can trust in the pan-European performance of the Renault Assistance. It helps you immediately and organizes, among other things, breakdowns. The mobility guarantee does not involve additional costs. I take this explanation from Renault: New car guarantee includes the mobility guarantee; the mobility guarantee costs nothing. 2. Questions from me: is the mobility guarantee included in the new car guarantee? is the dealer entitled to charge me for the mobility guarantee an amount? what is the mobility guarantee after the new car? ngaranti, if you have a Renault Plus guarantee? Where can I read the conditions in detail? Thanks and greetings

Clio RS, Leasing, what’s the cost?
As a former Clio driver (but it’s been years since Clio B 1.6 16v) and the urge to let some fun factor ride along again, there is a Clio RS in the focus. Forward braking time should be limited, 2J ahre. Driving performance is at best 10-15000 km per year, rather less. Leasing offer is available, fits everything. Nevertheless, I still have a few open points for myself – Welch e current costs should be planned as a driver of a Clio RS ETWA every year? Refuelling and changing oil out of the way. Is the inspection yearly or every 2 years? Which winter bikes can be taken in good conscience? Storage and removal is no problem, because we have someone. How long does the summer tyres installed during delivery last with you on average? With which driving method? Is there also “recommendations” Does anyone have a approximate house number at the delivery time? No one can answer me g erade. Leasing agent estimates 3-5 months thanks!
