  • Will upgrade Xenon…

    Hello, unfortunately I couldn’t find anything useful in the search… Have C4 with “normal” DEs and nem Xenon retrofit kit in it! Did I finally want to install original Xenon! What solutions would there be now? And for which models were there even the Xenon, only in the S4 and in the S6 (Plus)??? Did I actually have Bi-Xenon in the Audi back then? Do I have to change the headlights completely, or would it be enough if I changed “only” ECUs, burners and disk? the D2S/D2R burner in??? Have you read where one of the xenons of the VW W8 built in + TÜV?!*hui* P.S. I am grateful for any help and will then also set up a complete conversion report… WITH photos!!! THX @ all

  • How do I build the floor carpet?

    Hello, today at my coupé I removed the front seats as well as the back seat to bring them to the leather conditioner. in the same train I want to remove the very dirty beige carpet and let it shine again with such a carpet cleaning device in a new shine. I also unscrewed the carpet everywhere. except at the center console (the part under the climate control part, under the air vents of the footroom). That’s where it still hangs. Does anyone know if it is only “clamped down”, od is he somehow screwed up? Or does he ever go down and I have to build out all the stuff under the A board in the center console???

  • Sound system in the Audi 80 B3

    Moin people.. I wanted to bring some sound into my Audi at a bit warmer time (when this will come sometime)! The problem is I’m a poor student and I lost my 400€ job 3 months ago. At 140€ insurance for the good old one there’s not much money in it! But a little bit can always be gotten! Now my question: What can you recommend me?   • Proceed 2019 – Keyless Go & Start – Experiences or concerns about increased theft risk ?

    Hello together, I have recently become aware of the Procced GT / GT Line … a very nice car …. “..for a Kia …” 🙂 Design can now … Am currently looking for a new car and because of the Proceed became aware of Kia for the first time. Conditions I could get / use very good .. However, “disturbing” me a detail extraordinary: the Keyless-Go system … it is installed as standard and one hears meanwhile some about increasing theft rates w egen Interception of radio signals of the keys (possibly with range extension) … Did I quickly calculate the insurance rates and am somewhat surprised / scared like “high” / “price” the classifications are for a big city …. A VW GTI eg (without Keyless) is significantly cheaper ? Has anyone thought about the Keyless-Go system ? Does anyone have information / experience with the radio signals ? ADAC and Co. have many manufacturers or their systems classified as “unsafe”. Only recently Ford responded and announced in a short time to improve the keyless system and equip the keys with a so-called resting sensor …. as soon as a few seconds no “movement” (e.g. drop off at home) is registered, the key switches off the signal …

  • Rim damage, can it be repaired?

    Hey, wanted to ask a few questions about your opinion here. Unfortunately I missed a small raised step when turning back at a blind spot today. Now I have demoted my rim and probably scraped the tire. Do you mean the rim can be repaired? I have no idea what is possible here, since I have never dealt with it. The rim costs original at Kia around 800 Euro and at a second manufacturer (original replica) 400+. At least the car dealer has these prices to me n year ago t. I then got the Ceed GT rims needed here in the forum. My insurance broker clarifies by tomorrow whether new tyres (should probably 2) would be covered by the insurance and what it looks like with my classification. As far as I know, there are no steps with my comprehensive (Austria VLV) and the liability is not possible anyway. Otherwise I have a free damage, which I do not necessarily want to use for such a thing. Will probably be a question whether the self retention is worthwhile or not t. 🙁 LG

  • No traffic information in the Navi (Ceed SW Mj23)

    The large navigator in my Kia Ceed GTline Mj23 does not show any traffic information. No traffic jams, no alternative routes. Nix. Whether I turn on traffic information in the settings does not make any difference. Unfortunately, this makes the navigator little usable. Had problems to activate Kia connect at first, but Workshop fixed this. Don’t see any error messages but information doesn’t come in. Does anyone have an idea?

  • Exhaust system of the Proceed GT

    Good morning dear KIA community, here’s a little observation that I want to share with you. Now that it’s a little fresher in the morning, you can see the smoke development behind the exhaust system. I noticed that when I stand behind the vehicle, the fog only rises from the left exhaust. Nothing comes from the right side of the system. So it looks like you don’t have a 2-toothed exhaust system at all for the inclined observer, so change as if that were a fake exhaust. I don’t know myself in the car technology now. Is this normal in the cold state? that there is only one exhaust line used first and then the 2nd one is switched on? always looks a bit strange. You also see it clearly in the return camera.

  • Capacitor for Head Unit – Internal Resistance??

    The topic has been discussed before and I know there are different opinions about capacitors that buffer the current in front of the head unit… I don’t want to discuss that now either. I just have a rather general question on the subject, and that’s in the data sheet of a capacitor that I think would be suitable for this application: ESR@100Hz: 16 mOhm… Isn’t that a bit high, or would the ESR be much lower at DC voltage?     Hello, I just took 3 hours and drove with a friend to two dealers. To my buddy : He wants one or two subs, which only makes noise, and the magnet looks nice. Sound doesn’t matter to him. The main thing is to look nice. To me : I’m still looking for a front system, sound is important to me. 1. Dealer : My buddy thought about subs of audio track. The guy said they don’t have something that they don’t want to recommend to their customers. When asked what the “bad” audio track is, he didn’t know the answer and then recommended my buddy a sub from Spectron. I asked him for the Andrian Audio 130. I only heard good about it so far, especially tonal it should be recommended. He immediately replied that I would probably often be in forums and therefore have the recommendation. In his opinion, Anselm himself would have had an influence on it, but it would always be recommended. But he would have something to do with it. As a result, he suggested to me the ECP25XT3 emphaser (239 €) and the Radical Audio RA13.2 (339 €). I couldn’t listen to both of them, and the question whether he had heard the AA 130 before, he skilfully blocked off. (I would have been interested in it anyway). By the way, an Audison Vr 209 should serve as a stage. Since I prefer to have it installed, I also asked about it. He said installation 250 € + 200 € insulation.
