Hello all, I have an Escort 1.6 16V built 93 155 tKM. The following has happened, I drove about 200 KM at a time, with a rest after 180 KM I heard a sawing noise coming from the engine. I drove further, then after about 4 more KM occasionally lighted up the oil lamp, stopped and oil level checked everything i.e. noise was gone. I drove further at reduced speed, oil lamp came now more often, thought of cable break. gs rattle sounds of I assume at Hydros about 5 KM before the finish. I then drove to the finish, about 5 KM still. When turning off then the oil lamp almost always lit. I left the car standing overnight, had the hope that the oil was only too hot and thin to build up proper oil pressure. The next morning after starting the oil lamp does not disappear still there (Hydros)? To add to the engine was not unusually warm. The ADAC man I had then fetched said Perhaps oil pump. Now I wanted to know your opinion and the question how recklessly the change of the oil pump is if it were this. Thank you! Greeting Stephan

Hi, I have a 95 Essi. The most important date: – MK 7 GAL 5door with rear spoiler 1.6l 16V – 150t KM – dark green – unfortunately no ABS, otherwise Ghia equipment Plus points: – Timing belt set changed before 20tKM – Brake discs still relatively good ?! (<1mm shut down) - Drum brakes exchanged - Wheel bearing replaced - Quelekter exchanged - various cuffs exchanged - Underbody quite stainless, only the car lifter shots are no longer factory new - registered 15 inch aluminium rims - Test winner Winter and summer tire sets with 4mm ca each - almost silent - power absolutely no mucking - never had PRobleme, except TÜV preparations - ICh could sell it 90% with nail new TÜV and ASU Minus points: - no more the best paint... - had an accident on the right back of the side plate: Was skipped and spatted (but you don't see anymore) - both sides scratched, but I would still judge that - front bumper on the tow hook torn (smallness, nix big, you can hardly see) - Rear bumper bitle pressed (also not conspicuous, you wouldn't see it passing by) HOW DO I HAVE TO AGREE THERE? 900 Euros !? Hi The light from the alarm system does not shine, I don’t know if it has ever lit, but an alarm system is marked in the vehicle’s registration, so what could it be? Should I expand the dashboard?

So people it’s slow so far my carburetor doesn’t take much longer with me, I can get some parts today but not everything with me. today worries quantity divider suction trunk suction head hoses for the injector. what I still lack is the wire harness, and there are 2 differences! the XR3i Jg 81-85 which has only one ECU and 86-90 have two different ECUs( Believe one of them belongs to ABS).I’m slowly skeptical how to do now? the MK3 I find kei a share more for a wire harness and the one from MK4 is still a lot. so I have no other choice to pick up from MK4 but I need to know that I have to get the whole cable construction out of it. but my mind is not all I need but the one from the K-jetronic cable. who of you can help me to work on this system MK4? and pictures would still be for the benefit of MFG.GIova
