Hello dear forists, my wife’s space star (BJ 2017, 1.2 AT) has a problem: the internal windows are fogging incredibly fast and already at temperatures around 8 degrees (and of course even faster below) or if it is more humid outside. With activated climate it usually goes away quite quickly. However, in the morning it is sometimes so moist that the water runs down and my wife uses a rubber puller… is that still normal?! When you get in it it does not smell wet or the like… but that is really very annoying and not bearable for safety, if you have to constantly provide free visibility… The ventilation is also very weak and therefore not really effective. Does/had someone else have to fight with this problem? We now have in January anyway customer service but I would like to collect experiences or other input in advance.

Hello, I’m coming with another question: Yesterday’s first night trip. Unfortunately, the turn-off lights (NL) are kind of working at turn-off lights and steering wheel impact) During the day I had seen that the NL didn’t go on when cornering, thought it would be just like that, that only at night and turned-on lighting also the turn-off lights are working. Doesn’t seem like that. Seller insists that it worked. Solution? Can the “turn-around” in Stardiag, change from “Rest of the World” to “US” (because of receipt tone, see other post here) be the cause. How can I actually see how the vehicle was delivered? There are, as I was allowed to learn, equipment codes (e.g. 733 for chestnut wood) My friend somehow didn’t respond to my demand. Did someone read here the opportunity (if I send the WDB via PN) for me? I’m looking forward to your new help position. Maybe someone also has an idea of my other posthi hi hot heating today (I hope to read the steering wheel)

Hello, what would you recommend a 200K or 230K? Would you like to get an R170 Bj 98 with automatic, but can’t decide which engine osing it should be. What about consumption, insurance, reliability and fun factor?? Is the 200K a little too weak and is the sound as sporty as the 230K?? Thank you in advance!!

Engine Diagnostic Control Fault On, Disrupting Lambda Probes Right
Hello need help,on my 280sl V6 lights up the engine control lights.Have read out error memory,diagnosis Lambda control.That’s what I renewed all four Lambda probes,control pollution again and engine runs like a bag of nuts,error memory read out again result Lambda probe right before Kat no heating and no regulation the same with the Lambda probe Rechs after Kat!Have now changed the Lambda probes already for the second time with original new parts.The result remains the same control light on Lambda probe right no function. Can one of you tell me where else I could look for the error. with kind regards SL Bongo

I’m torn between EOS and Astra Twin Top. I like both of them very much. Opel already has a CR Diesel, EOS has the smarter roof for it. My arguments go back and forth. There is always a difference in price. The difference in price is not a decision-making aid for me. What do you all think about it?

Volvo Workshops overloaded – Note for buyers of a used Volvo
Hi, in great disappointment about Volvo I had to get back to this topic. The reason for my disappointment is an unacceptable long waiting time for a workshop meeting despite a total failure due to an electronics problem. I am also interested in whether it was similar to other Volvo drivers. In the radius of about 50 km from Stade, between Cuxhaven and Hamburg, when selecting 5 Volvo workshops a waiting time of 1 1⁄2 weeks is the best possible result, what could be achieved by switching on the central Volvo customer service. Before it went direction 2 1⁄2 weeks. Because of the previous failure of a Xenon-scattered workshop, which could not be solved by exchanging the Xenon-burner and Xenon-control unit, it should even be a date in 4 weeks. Since it was then considerably time consuming to find a free workshop at all (>10 asked for help), however, the advice given to a Volvo with an electronic problem already gives me as a layman to understand that the diagnosis of Volvos probably represents a special challenge. In view of this workshop there was no need for help.

My Omega is drinking almost more water than fuel
Hello, I have an Omega B 2.2 16V Caravan Bj.12.2002 First of all I have to say that I am really enthusiastic about this forum. Fast and mostly very experienced help, my compliment to all. My problem is the following, for 3 days my car consumes about 300 kilometers a half liter of water which does not appear visible again 🙁 and when I start it in the morning it runs completely unevenly, but what is done after approx. 50 to 100 meters. Also I notice that sometimes makes itself noticeable at approx.3000-4000 rpm a jerking. My fear is the ZKD where my nightmare would be a defect ZK. What makes me mean is that neither white smoke, bubbles in the compensation tank, or water in the oil makes noticeable. My question to you is if you have any other idea what could play out there.
