So, my 850 10v EZ10/95 has now also the ABS light problem with estimated 350,000km. Once after the start stopped and after a few minutes went out again, the next start it stayed on and lights up since then. After this can hardly be overlooked here in the forum, I did not worry at first –> Steuergrät solderen! Brav with the 4mm-six-edge three screws at the STG solved, in order to then miserably despair at number 4 (the most difficult to reach) then… I have now certainly 5 different hexagonal nuts, a Torx-screw with levers, various pliers and actually the correct outer torx-nut from the car mechanician tried out. The screw does not open! The head just seems to be too round… Now the question, to people who have built the control device apart already times: Is it in your opinion a way (manage?) to get the thing out without having to unscrew the screw and without destroying the board or other important parts is actually to be destroyed?

Error suspension workshop -> Level control disabled
Hi, yesterday I switched off my car without any problems – today I wanted to go off when after about 1 km loud metallic scratching noises came from the front left wheel box. So back and car changed. When I came back, I picked up the Phaeton with car lifter mode, the wheel was unscrewed – brake caliper and disc had to loose until the stone between the brake disc and the protective plate behind it fell out. Everything was assembled again, I had to realize that the car goes so deep that I can’t get the car lifter out. With the help of a 2nd car lifter I have the then also recovered … but the Phaeton lies at the front left deep. In the display comes the message “Failor chassis workshop”. He no longer pumps up. Now fix with VCDS and delete errors – it is a fact in the control unit 34 (Niveauregulation) the error “Regulation off” inside. Problem: it cannot be cleared! The compressor in the rear says no sound. How can I solve the problem?

Good morning, I’ve been in the P Club for almost 11 months now and enjoy every meter that I pull off with my living room on our streets. My 3.0TDI is from 12/11 and the mileage is now at 78000. Of course I bought the car with the VW warranty and used it once as a charging air cooler has acknowledged the service. Otherwise I had some cosmetics run and various maintenance work done (brakes, air conditioning re-filled and cleaned, ….). Now yesterday came the writing of the VW insurance, for which I have already been waiting. They offer me generously the extension for another year……. I expected that I would not get these, but under the line were sharply calculed 2,086€!!!!!! Since I once fell over well cared for and have dreamed of the night almost of insurance birds…. lol. Now my question to the community…. What have you made of experiences with the amounts? It really comes to me high. Nevertheless, I am inclined to pay this blood duty, because you can cause an economic damage to your electric gear.

850 140 Ps Don’t jump.
Hello, have installed the 850 with immobilizer pen from VDO 4638-9162608-03. Don’t sprinkle any more. With a long start then a light 1-3 cylinders run out and then again. Ignition sparks are on. Injection nozzles only slightly inject a then no more at all? Petrol pressure 3 bar. I guess now that it is at the immobilizer, or do I see this wrong?

Smart 452 does not start
Hello Smart community. I bought a Smart 452 Roadster coupé from 3 years ago. He had already 260,000 km on the Tacho. Sporadic he has problems starting. If he jumps, also by towing, he works a few weeks without murmuring. Several times I hoped to have found the error finally: – new starter, since the error often occurred with warm engine – the fuse 1 with 25 amps, cleaned and plugged in again – the mass contact at the gearbox cleaned and re-screwed – the mass tape in the engine compartment replaced – a new battery installed. The error occurs less often since the new starter. However, it is not gone. After the starter is started you hear the petrol pump and the magnetic switch in the starter is not controlled for at least 3 minutes. At some point the control unit then gives up. Currently I have lowered the engine and now all possibilities no more ideas.

Smart 451er CDI exhaust gas recirculation systems AGR
Moin from Hamburg, I have a Smart fortwo 451 CDI with 45 hp (the car has now 119,000 KM on the hump). Unfortunately I found the following problem last week, the car doesn’t pull properly (going into the emergency run) and then the engine control light already went on, Adac called error read out: P2355 Exhaust gas recirculation systems I had the AGR valve and the corresponding part removed and cleaned, all the faults etc removed looked like new. Motor started and the engine light went off by itself. When the parts opened, I noticed that the corrections were not completely dry but rather a little damp??? Maybe the AGR KÜHLER? The car only drives 100KM/h and has less power. After a few kilometers I noticed that the engine went back into the emergency run, i.e. only until the second gear and then I had to switch up the engine light by itself. After 70 KM the engine lamp already hit again with the same error: exhaust recirculation systems.

Torrifying sounds on the rear axle
Hi, everybody! For some time now I have noticed creaking/smoking sounds from the direction of the chassis at the rear right. Only occurs at step speed/ranking on uneven ground. Have my Ommi also swinged by hand, but there is nothing to hear. Last week the rear dampers + impact buffers were changed (because leaking), but the noises remained. KM-Stand aktuell: 108000. Who can give me a hint?
