Hello together, I have a problem with the climate on my elk (V70, petrol, 144hp, Bj’97, 5-door, B5252FS/S M56). No matter what setting I choose, the front windshield is slamming every time. No matter if winder or summer. My screwdriver has already read out errors and as protocol we got that interior sensor, actuators, flaps,… are defective?!?? Just my guess was that the control panel is probably broken and wanted to get me another one. Can someone tell me which control panel fits with which number to my climate automation. At Scandisk I didn’t get any further… Does anyone have an idea or information?

Angle, dimensions and exhaust

XC90 D5 – More power with superdiesel?
Hello dear elk community, although I still haven’t managed to set some photos of my XC90 (coming yet, but then right), I would like to ask for your experience. For a good four months I have been driving an XC90 D5 R design. I have now tried out the super diesel variant on the tank more often – and, I imagine, it’s a noticeable extra power there. I know the comparison with a “normal” summum XC90 with the D5 machine, so without sports suspension and double exhaust, the pull-through is much worse there. It could also be due to double exhaust, as I once suspected. However, I suspect rather that the increase of 4% promised at the petrol stations is due to the currently (still) affordable diesel types as Supershell or Aral-Ultimate. Is there any similar experience with the expensive diesel variant? Or is there anyone in the forum who drives a 2009 model as R-design. Thank you very much!

Steering blocked
Hello all, my V50, 2,0D, Bj2004, has a serious problem. The steering does not work properly. Especially the faster you drive the more often blocks this or you have a very great resistance when steering from just on impact?! Especially on the highway it often comes to very dangerous situations. One just drives out, wants to steer, the steering blocked, when the power on the steering wheel increases the steering at once and steers again. However, the problem occurs only when you want to steer then. The problem strengthens in case of cold or after driving. After longer driving becomes better. My mechanic says the power supply to the engine is fine. Could only the engine/servo pump be? Or the steering gear? Maybe someone has a hint? Fan connection Interior connections? (SLK R170)
Hello guys, can someone tell me how the fan connections of the interior fan are switched under the glove compartment? The Puster regularly fails and jumps arbitrarily again. A system behind it is not recognizable. We could not provoke any wobble contacts. We removed the engine yesterday and cleaned everything. Defects are not visible. Collector and coals look good. Bearings run easily. To circle the sporadic error, I want to measure or connect a test lamp to the supply line before we expand the whole switch element. Can the controller be also? The fan box has 3 connections, which go inside on the controller. And the other side probably to the blower step switch Only what is what and how occupied? Plus, mass and control line? A circuit diagram of the overall circuit with the ventilation step switch would be great.

SLK R170 200er electric almost 100% without function
hallöchen, my slk was now unfortunately a week in the sun around. today was time again. start attempt worked only after the 4th time. wanted to fill up the climate. after a certain time in the workshop the air conditioner was free. unfortunately then I could not start. the error reading resulted in mass errors. moreover after a few minutes ‘ignition’ of the cooler or climate fan. the ki worked completely. nevertheless with a certain hope the k40 was expanded and tested. “unfortunately” totally in order. now I am with my ideas at the end. has someone still nen tip? gruss paul

For some time now (without anything special happening, my interior lighting no longer goes out, no matter in which switch position (yes, even in off position! I have already tried another lighting unit, the same problem… what could this be? I don’t know where to look, is my first Mercedes, and actually I love it now… I hope someone can help me!?????

D4 – Geartronic Automatic Tribe
Hello, my elk (01-2013, D4 Geartronic, Ocean Race, 83tkm) ruptures more and more often and more violently when I switch from P to D or from P to R or from D to R and vice versa. Hello have a question my volvo v70 Bj 99 b5252s goes out rather rough when making out as if the motor would turn a bit … and you hear a short ratchet clacking as if you were moving the drive shaft back and forth such a noise in about …..gear side.
