Opel Omega MV 6 Overheating at hooker operation A lot has already been reported on this topic, especially that no one knows what it is about. Now I have been told that it is a mass-prblem ! Does anyone know anything about it ??

  • Retrofitting rear spoiler – paintwork?

Hello guys, after I bought my second V70 yesterday, I would also like the rear spoiler again. Although no friend of Spoilerwerk – had a S60 sport for me from factory, was not so nice – the rear wing fits very well to the V70. Without this I find the rear somehow “naked”. Well, the want unfriendly Eur 760 for rear spoiler with mounting. My love for the Bürzel then does not go that far. Skandix offers the wing primed from Eur 170. Now the quite simple question: How do I get to the Volvo original varnish? Just go to the paintr and say the Volvo code? Thanks for information.

  • Gas silencer installation tailgate

Hello, after I got a good tip from “Ulle” about cheap rear flap dampers, the things are now there – but don’t fit in. There are a few millimeters to press in. The dampers are from Skanimport Flenner – top price and super fast delivery. Unfortunately just a little too long … The tip was from “Ulle”, unfortunately I can’t find the old thread anymore (has also been long ago). Since the dampers have a pressure of 1500 NM, one of you elk drivers (not mean bad) knows how to get the things in???? I don’t want to expand the tail flap somehow. Thanks for all the posts and nice evening greetings from the wild south Thomas

  • Which S60 gasoline should you use?

Hello dear Comunity, I am playing with the idea of buying a used S60 and having it converted to gas if necessary. Which gasoline engine is generally the best in the S60 and which one can best be converted to gas? I think a not turbo engine would be the best choice for gas, right? Would that be the 2,4 with 140hp? I would be happy if you would give me a few tips. Thank you!

  • V70 D5 or A6 2.5

Hello, I am thinking about whether my next car should be a Volvo V70 D5 Bj 2004 up or an A6 Avant 2.5/1.9 with automatic / multitronic. Audi is of course more dignified by the equipment. However, he has problems with the multitronics. I want to pull my caravan on holiday and make sure that the transmission does not fly around my ears, even after high running performance. Your experiences in this regard would interest me.

  • Volvo 850 dies at a standstill

“Dear Volvo connoisseurs, I hope someone can help me. My beloved Swede, a 850 automatic Bj 96, is having problems. I have him in the family since my wedding and he and the woman are still there. Now he’s been having real trouble for a few days. When driving, he doesn’t have a problem, but sometimes when I have to stop at a traffic light and stay in D, for example, what’s normal, or when driving very slow (<30kmh)? he starts to jerk and jump, the speed goes down and sometimes he even dies off. If I switch off quickly in N, the whole thing becomes normal and I can then return to normal in D. But if I switch off from N to D at a standstill, he immediately starts jumping again and tries to die off. It feels as if the gear is not completely separated from the engine at a standstill. What could that be? The converter gear? What would cost something like that. Can you H be able to accept someone in the room of my old Munich?

  • Overpriced?

Hello, yesterday my V 70 II 2,4D was in the 120,000 maintenance. This is supposed to be a somewhat more expensive inspection, because various things are done, which are only to be done every second or third inspection. In addition, there were two “extra-scheduled” repairs: – new brake pads and brake discs at the rear as well as – replacement of the engine suspension due to wear. I paid a lot of 890 euros. That shocked me quite nicely. Is this okay – or overpriced taking into account all the work done? Especially since I was also dissatisfied with this maintenance for the first time with the whole round. I got an Audi (würg) instead of the promised V 70 as a rental car and for a small problem with two sometimes failed control lights in the display field could not offer any other solution except the lapidary information that one could only exchange the whole combination instrument, which would cost 1200 euros. I said, no thank you. To all evils were also seat and steering wheel so extremely disfigured that I had been used forever to achieve the optimal inspection.

  • Oil under driver’s floor mat

Hello together, someone had the problem that he had oil under the driver’s foot mat before? Hadn’t done anything so far, because I thought that something had run out of my previous owner, but the oil is currently licking more, silk my servo pump, resp. Servo oil dripping anywhere down. At the back of the foot mat, is a really big oily spot. Unfortunately I can’t see (feeling) whether it is servo oil. I can’t explain where this should come from. Greetings, Anton

  • Purchase decision Volvo V70 D3

Hello professionals, because my Volvo V70 EZ 1997, 2.5L gasoline, 144PS, 365TMM unfortunately has a damage to the steering gear, I just look around for a new V70. This time it is supposed to be a diesel. Driving performance about 30,000km/year (the current V70 gasoline I had taken very cheaply from my parents and 200TMM with it – before questions come why petrolers 😉 I lost myself in the D3 with 136PS (from 5/2012) because the CO2 values is very good and I don’t need more PS actually. I drove the D2 with 114PS and found it a bit too weak. The predecessor with 136PS (2.0D) is apparently more expensive in the maintenance – I read here in the forum. Budget is up to 20,000€ – rather natural less. Did this here at the Volvo dealer discovered:http://…oechst.selekt.volvocars.de/…/D3 Edition-Pro-p5bm53w Is it a bit too risky a car with 106,000km to buy at the price less? But there is not enough for me to have the same level?

  • DPF burns free?

Moin On the other hand, I need some advice from my favorite forum. Yesterday again (after about 6 weeks of short-distance operation) I was on the highway. So at approx. 160 km/h I had about three times in a row a dropout, I could not give a gas for a second, then everything was good again. Engine was running perfectly, even the feeling that it was running minimally free. Then right at home the i Carsoft 906 made, everything ok. no mistakes. Did then take today the device again to check everything exactly. I just don’t get some messages, Sufu and Google don’t help either. For example: whirl actuator, position 43,83% whirl actuator PWM 1,16 % Commanded exhaust gas recirculation 100% AGR sensor 0% fuel pressure nominal value 327900 fuel distribution pressure 331800 AGR 100% AGR error 99,2% and quite great engine oil temp -273,14 degree C will now be able to download an update for the icarsoft, the engine oil temperature makes me agreeable. Achcho, my car is not free.
