    Volvo 850 Brummen beim Gasgaben Good evening, I have a question I drive a Volvo 850 144ps automatic with Kat cold-running regulator on Euro 2. When giving gas, the Volvo is already buzzing quite well and I wonder if this is normal? My mechanic thinks the exhaust and fan manifold is fine and that could be normal that it is so buzzing. I also had a 850 with switch before and it didn’t buzz like that. Is it automatic? In a thread over a Mercedes, a flush to Tim Eckhard is recommended.

    Hello !! I think that you can post that again at Peugeot and Citroen at the same time. Motor EW10A 2.0 16V 2007 Marelli IAW6LPB CAN. The engine goes after a good 2 min in emergency run, that sounds as if also 2 ZYlinders are switched off, the throttle valve goes to a measured value of 0.8 volts ( emergency run position). Error entry P1160 air flow rule deviation. The values of the throttle valve are always in the green range.

    Hello for now, I’ve been in this forum for a long time, but new with a “Peugeot” here. I’ve had the 2.7 Ltr. Coupé with 204 hp for a week and am so far really positively surprised by the comfort and driving characteristics. But here comes my first problem and I hope the community can help me. The electric seat adjustment of the passenger seat does not make any noise! Nothing at all! Dead! The passenger seat can only move forward with the hand to let one get in the back. On the driver side the adjustment goes, however, the seat does NOT fold forward with the hand to allow entry to the rear. Not to mention an automatic ancestor of the seat….there’s nothing going forward there, also the steering wheel does not work up if I want to get off. Please to know if someone has already had and what to do. At the Peugeot dealer/workshop I was already able to find out more about it….I’m supposed to bring the car after appointment and leave it there for 3 days.

  • Oil lamp goes on when the car is standing.

    Hello everybody, I have changed the engine oil and the oil filter at my Volvo V50 2.0D (140tkm, 2004) today. As stated in the instructions for use, I filled in about 5.5 liters. If the car is driving everything is good. But always when I stop, then the warning lamp goes on. As soon as I give a gas shot it goes out and then goes right back on when the car goes into the stand gas. Does the car now have too much or too little oil? Thanks and Gruss Enrico

But now here is the old Bolide and here I need your advice: 850 from 95, 144 hp, automatic, 562 000 km. We have driven this one year and 20000 km actually only long distance … first of all the good sides: Tüv 4/22 engine and gearbox run flawlessly, powerful and soft switching exhaust system up to Kat new 3/21 new light engine 10/21 new axle front left 10/21 The previous owners (one family) have renewed: driver door, rear flap, engine hood Now the difficulties: Vorkat does not function, therefore loud and the engine inspection light burns therefore stone blow in the front window and for us the most difficult: Thanks to the front left the wheel holder is rusted off and let itself be snowy because of lack of mass.

  • Brake lights illuminate even without ignition volvo v70 I

    It’s me again. I just had to find out when braking the yellow warning light on the left for the braking system. Otherwise everything is normal. Brake lights ok. Brake fluid ok. Then I tried around and had to fix that even when the ignition was switched off the brake lights light. Hmm that is somehow new to me. First I typed a broken brake light but they burn all three. One a little brighter than the other I find. Maybe the brake light switch. When braking I don’t notice anything like always???
