    hey people, am just thinking of buying me an omega b, have found a very cheap one that comes across optically inside as well as outside very well. the only problem of the medium silencer is torn at the connection point to the end pot and sounds murderously loud :/ well is not so the big problem it is an omi b 2.5 v6 bj.mitte. 96 and I have already read several days after macking and sonsteigem to the cars and my problem is ….. where do I find the bender??? dragily embarrassing actually but you have to admit it also if you have no clue or? 😛 so if you can tell me that then I would be very grateful and if you still want to give me a advice on the way / can I would be very grateful. am still quite loosely on the road. how should the oil look to know that it is in order? if the cool water drips the bad?

  • cold motor=undefinable noise

    Moin, have the following problem: If the engine is still cold I have the first km a metallic rubbing noise from the engine. After at least 1 km the haunted is over and it purrs completely clean. No speed fluctuations and otherwise no abnormalities. For every suggestion or tip I am grateful…. Greeting rock

  • Question on battery voltage measurement

    Moin! When I use the China Cracker to measure the battery, I have the stand 11.9 volts. If I use the multimeter, I get 12.7 V. When I measure the idling speed with the China Cracker, I have 13.2 V, with multimeter 14.0 V. For all consumers and idling speed, the OBD 12.0 V ,the Multi 13.6 V shows. If the speed is up to 3000 rpm, the display does not change, with both. Is this normal that the OBD shows less and less than when I measure directly at the battery? I have a Bosch Lima installed.Now I wanted to install a new controller. Are all of them the same from Bosch? Or do I have to expand the Lima now and look at which number is on it? Because that’s how you can’t recognize anything, you have tried it with a mirror, nothing to see. Thanks already.

  • Motorprolem with Volvo S70 2.4

    Hi I have a problem with my Volvo S70 2.4l 144PS BJ.98 automatic. Recently, after driving on uneven road, I simply ran out of engine. Couldn’t start it after that and had to tow the Volvo. I no longer have any sparks of ignition, neither after the ignition distributor or directly at the ignition coil. But I measured the ignition coil, which is still ok. What else could this be? No fault lamp burns and the starter turns normal. The petrol pump also works. Between pin 3 and 4 on the plug A52 of the ignition coil are 12V and the ground points I checked. Thanks for the help!

    Moin to everyone It’s about a 98 V70, 144hp, gasoline. History: Sometimes it starts very badly. It doesn’t sound like a lack of fuel or too little amperes but rather like the whole engine is booming. MKL is working. After several unsuccessful selection attempts in two free workshops I drove to the Volvoglass Palace today. O-Sound:”I have to look for the old tester first”. Read out, error 3-1-4, camshaft sensor signal. The encoder sits under the top moto bearing and seems to be attached only with two cocks. Question: 1) Can you change it so easily (so unscrew it, pull it out, plug it in and screw it) or is there even more to consider? Exact position; release oil before; etc? 2) What exactly is the name of the part? camshaft signaler? camshaft sensor? camshaft sensor? I can’t find anything at Skandix. Note: The “friendly” wants to have about 150€ for changing?

  • Front axle flappers

    Symptom: Front axle clatters in a single articulated state no matter if right or left- impact on unevenness ( e.g. Kopsteinpflaster ). Was today at the TÜV on the rüttel – plant. Not reproducible. Engineer found nothing and means everything top. Also the steering is tight and has no appreciable game. So everything save. Nevertheless, what clatters. Independently of speed, so drive shaft is also not. Have now everything through: SD new ( incl. dome bearings ) coupling rods transversal handlebars Stabi track rod heads and track rods are good and have no lockable game. Klammers sounds metallic like a rod against thicker metal. Could it be that the auxiliary frame is not right, or too far behind or front, so that the rod clatters? Any thoughts???

  • Our first Volvo……worses us.

    Hello, our Volvo V70 D5 MY2012, now 57000km is worrying us. The following problems we had were buying (Volvo dealer) at the time 52000km. – Front disc leaks, it dripped water into the passenger room. Has been fixed by the Volvo dealer. Disc out and re-glued. – Then a short time later the climate compressor was wide. Has Volvi dealer replaced. – Then we had some cool water stains on our patch. Volvi dripped out now. Has also been fixed at the friendly. And now, my wife was traveling 100km, home arrived the car said no more mucks. Battery dead? Tomorrow again Volvi call. It sucks slowly. All these incidents occurred between November 2014 and today. Volvo already does not charge us any more for the many car hire cars we have received. All errors were repaired without any repair. Warranty runs until November this year. What do you need to change?

  • Upgrade V70 III heater with Volvo Oncall remote control

    Unfortunately, I don’t get the expensive paid OnCall remote control for the ERS heating in my V70 in Austria activated due to legal concerns. Is there someone here who knows how / where I come to retrofit a classic pre-heater with OnCall and CAN integration? The material is with approx. 6,700,- in the list (excl. installation). My dealer would give it to me due to the wrong order for 3,500,- and install it. Compared to 1250,- ex factory (incl. installation) however, this does not seem to me particularly favorable.
