  • Difference cooler for automatic and switch

    Hello, I’m looking for a motor cooler for my fat guy. Now I have the question where the difference between one for a switch (which I would need) and an automatic is??? Is it bigger from the automatic?? If yes, it fits in my switch anyway and would have an advantage in the Somer ?? Thanks for the answers..

  • Tailgate lock–I need your advice

    Good evening together, since March a Volvo V70 2.4L gasoline drive and so far very satisfied with the car. Apart from a few small things, he spared us with bigger defects so far. The problems were solved by the car dealership on guarantee and that without discussion-very pleasant as I find it. Last week our third brake lamp failed, we got a new rear flap cable tree and since that worked everything again. Until tonight:-( I wanted to drop the trunk flap into the lock, but it refused stubbornly. The car was open and the rear flap lock was closed. Of course there was no one left in the car dealership. So the Adac had to hit and he found a small spring that blocked the locking mechanism. The thing was removed and the lock is again doing its work-it closes;-) I wonder now where this feather comes from and which function the feather has in the rear flap to look at? If I open the flap now or close it is always heard behind the panel – I could present it to me, which is still something that I wanted to fold around?

  • Volvo S60 R AWD, 2005 compared to MB S55 AMG

    We had bought the car with about 36’000 km. Pure to driving is the car class, has a lot of steam, comfort and is visually appealing. However, the maintenance is extremely expensive and there are many soon expensive repairs on: with only 100,000km of crossbars in front, wheel bearings in the rear, in heavy rain there was a deafening whistle of unknown origin and the parking sensors in the rear failed their service. The outer shell of the exhaust pan peeled off, the blinker went only sporadically and although we did not particularly strain the car in any way the leather seats showed strong wear off and when side cushioning the backrest on the driver side had burst open the seam. It happened 5-6 times that the car didn’t make any mucks when you wanted to start it. Software errors hit it every time, cause is unknown. Since I can’t afford it like most of the old people can’t even get better at work 5-6 times a year ago, we sold the car wutent and bought us a Mercedes S55 AMG. Well, the car has been more amazingly easier than that car, but it’s maintenance has never been more expensive.

Are these now with socket WY5W or W5W? reason for the look, then I want to upgrade to LED, which I have already made good experiences.   • Change Volvo DPF yourself

    Hello forum community! I’ve been looking for a lot, but I didn’t really find a clear statement. Maybe you can help me: I drive a Volvo V50 2.0D from 2006 with 195Tkm. The car is running quite well, but it seems to be constantly or too often on the rain. I notice this by the way of driving in the partial load range (rumbling) and at strong oil dilution. I left off almost 8L at the last oil change (after 8Tkm). I was already in various workshops, no faults in the memory, all measured values ok etc…. Now advised me to change a workshop, possibly the DPF, as it may be short before the end. But quite sure you are not… Now I would have the opportunity to get a DPF out of an accident Fzg. (75Tkm). I wanted to do this myself, in order not to spend so much money. Screwing is not an issue for me. Now I can change the question: Can I just save it without something o.ä.? Many greetings and thanks!

  • Volvo newcomer has questions about C70 II

    Hello together, yesterday I bought the first Volvo of my not so young life: a Volvo C70 Momentum 2.4i gasoline with 125 kW. The car has only 71000km down, partly the previous owner (or his wife, because it was her car) did not drive 5000km a year. Nevertheless, the C70 regularly received its customer service. Also he had almost new summer tyres and also new winter tyres are included. Technically he seems to be very well maintained. Externally, there are some parking racks, but I want to eliminate them with the time. I am happy about my new purchase. But what bothers me, that’s the question about the timing belt change! This has not yet been done (is also no wonder with the low driving performance), but at least the car is already 10 years old! So my question: When should I let the tooth belt change at my C70?   • V50 1.6D Rucking

    What was the idea of my V50 1.6D MY 2007 (i.e. VFL) with approx. 180tkm is a little bit of a bit of a refuelling since the summer of last year? It was a strange thing to say, that there was always – not reproducible and apparently arbitrarily. At first it was only a small “slip-off” – the car went almost full into the engine brake and after a millisecond back to the previous gas level again (also Tempomat just stay on). There was no error in this case (have been read out in a contract workshop). So nothing changed and went on, was also not a bad thing, only a little bit surprising. Since I had it several times in a short time now, I took care to know whether any regularity starts up and the following thing occurred to me: – It only occurs on a warm engine – It occurs all 400 – 600km, sometimes a small Ruckler in between, but longer rucking again only in this interval. – Refresh it can be put off, wait, again, again, again it runs perfectly last week on the highway half the resounding was absolutely no part of the time.

  • V50 2.0D DPF Sporadic no power, emergency running program

    Hello guys, I have a funny problem with my V50. And it started last week that he jerked at speeding up. And now on the weekend he suddenly had no leistng, but went away again. There came out the following: OBD error code p2002: soot particle filter bank 1 – efficiency under minimum error code p2452 – diffusion pressure sensor soot particle filter, function flawed. Error code p2454: -difference pressure sensor soot particle filter, signal too low Now the workshop told me that they can’t know about it and do nothing. I should drive to Volvo. They said to me that the particle filter is full or a sensor is broken and I should make a quick lap on the highway to burn it free. Now I know the car has a good time to do it. I have a good time to do it.

  • Decode Shifts

    Hello together, I am unfortunately facing a problem. I had retrofitted the gearshifts a long time ago. Now I have dismantled them to sell them. Unfortunately, there seems to have been some changes in the coding during installation because I no longer have a gang indicator and a fault in the gearbox STG which says: Errors in gearshifts steering wheel. I already had contact with Zottel yesterday. He said I should look for it in Stg 46 and then delete the error. Unfortunately I find in 46 no fault and also no coding that I can change regarding the gearshifts. Does anyone have a tip for me? Is it a GP1 LG and thank you already.
