  • Speedometer and cruise control

Moin, I have the following 2 problems with my Omega. I tried the “search” already, but found nothing about it yet or the matching probably overread. 1) Tacho Since last winter my tacho spins. Sometimes he doesn’t go … a cheerful back and forth during the ride. Accordingly, the on-board computer also delivers “interesting” results. It came out of the blue, no repairs were done ect. during this time … also no radio changed (has the original inside). Where to start looking ? 2) Tempomat This is already about 2 years without function. Suddenly he didn’t want any more, at the beginning he felt briefly (approx. 2days) when driving with high-light… Where should one start with the diagnostics here? The two errors occurred with approx. 1 year distance, insofar I don’t necessarily see a connection.

  • Another new problem – engine no longer starts – slow to despair

Hello community, I turn to you again. I hope that this time I get a little help, because my last two problems did not come up with an answer. I changed the spark plugs today, so the jerking (see other thread) seems to be gone. Then I drove with my girlfriend full of euphoria to the lake for a walk and I was happy about a seemingly problem-free car. Min. 40 km and approx. 10 smooth engine starts later the engine did not work anymore. Then the starter does not spin at all, but it just cracks or there is a hint of usual start noise ( 1/10 sec) and then silence. Lights continue to glow everyone, radio, window lifter, everything battery-powered works perfectly. Then every 7th-10. Try it also jumps again as if never was anything. I have no idea where to look at all, please someone will have nothing to do with the candles.!! Voltmeter, everything battery-powered works perfectly well. Then every 7th-10. Try it also jumps again as if never was anything else. I really have a problem with Andy. I don’t know what to say about it again and I’s a long time again.

  • Confused! V70 (Type24) Bi-fuel, flexi-fuel? Vulnerabilities / recommendations?

Hello together. I have a change of vehicle in the next 6-12 months. Actually it was clear that there was a 5s again on the 5s, but honestly I am not really convinced of the F10, so we are looking for alternatives. I also came up with Volvo, more precisely on the V70. A little research with Dr. Google has shown that there is the V70 of course with petrol engines and diesels, but also as a flexi fuel for E85. According to Wikipedia there is no longer a Bi-Fuel version for the Type24. Now I have found on mobile.de but various vehicles with Bi-Fuel. Click me. So I would like the car very much. Low fuel costs and sufficient power without the disadvantages of a diesel. But supposedly there is no such thing as the car, and I could not find any tests or driving reports on the motorization anywhere. Are the vehicles converted by the dealer, or did they have to be a Bi-Fuel factory after all? What do you have to pay attention to the engine?

  • Trouble with winter tires

Hi, I just experienced something really crazy. I could “take” my winter bikes from the Evoque to the XC60, Pirelli Scorpion were raised. When changing the wheels (summer to winter) my tire fuzzi noticed that the tires had been pulled up against the running direction on two wheels. But he himself screwed up and I drove around with these flaps a winter (2014-15). He pressured around so a bit and then the tires were mounted again properly. I have now the two wheels on the rear axle (new one in front) and it polishes like stupid. Was already twice balanced out, without improvement. From about 100 the axle starts to hobble. I assumed to him that this comes from a season “wrong around” so that the profile is damaged…. entered silence… Saturday I get new tires, but I will not pay him completely, because the old ones would have kept 1-2 winters. Question to the community: sometimes apart from security aspects (you don’t even think about it!) – because of the damage!

  • Buy V60?!

Moin, we have a new car and we like the V60 very much. I found a car that would fit the overall impression and price here. Now my question: Does the car do what from your point of view? What about the engine (heicotuning problematic?)? Thank you for your help!

  • V70 III – Assembly wiper water tank, container never completely filled?

Hello together, with my V70 I just have the front bumper repainted. In this connection I noticed that the wiping water tank never appears to be completely filled. The wiping water is already at the top of the filling tube, but the container still has 5 cm of air. Has anyone noticed this before?

  • Consumption V70 170PS

Hi people! And I want to know from you what you consume with your V70 with 170hp and switching. In pure city traffic of course. My Schwegerin is now driving for almost 3k km with 9.8l. Since this is however in the V50 forum a little “pragitive”, because the V50 1.8 with 125hp is already indicated with 9,xxl and that the heavier V70 can not underbid, I want to know your experiences. Can soon also attach a picture. mfg chris

  • to despair: S60 & stroller

Hello, I am with the small boot opening at the forfeiture. May I ask the family fathers and mothers with S60 what they get for a stroller (combine car, i.e. prams with conversion possibility on sports cars) through this small hatch??? I have found up to now only one: turbo 4 of ABC design. With this you can fold the rack fully and also take away the attachment completely, the wheels anyway. So it is really small and should fit also in the Nissan Micra K12. However, the strollers of ABC design do not exactly correspond to my ideas of quality. If you read through the opinions at www.ciao.com you get the horror knows even another stroller that fits in the S60?? The consultation in the so-called specialized trade can be forgotten smoothly, that also affects the children’s seats. If you don’t read in and try it yourself you are opened up Ciao, Eric, who doesn’t want to buy a V70 because of that!!!

  • Should I buy an XC90?

Dear Forum Fellows, my question may seem a little strange, but it is serious to me: It is about deciding whether I should buy a new car this year or next year. My current FZ, V70, full equipment, EZ 04/2004, now has 165Tkm on the counter, next year I will definitely exceed the 200Tkm limit. The vehicle is paid off. I am very satisfied with the car, it drives well, reliable and comfortable, also for the family (2 children, 1 dog) is enough space, so no objective reason to change. After some emotional moments (new car is always great, and I find the XC90 also great!) I come to the sober realization that another car does not offer me any real added value either, so only the question arises whether an economic disadvantage arises due to the fact that I still wait with the replacement purchase. Factors that for a new purchase (or a new car order, it should be a new car by the way) are still in 2007, as well as to a possible high discount for the first part of the quota, not used for the next part of the price, but for the next part of the price.
