Hello forum community! am new here and at the moment researching whether I should buy a v70 offered to me, the dates V70 bj. 2006 92kw 2.4d equipment is quite complete (seat heating, parking aid, standing heating, tempomat etc.) current kilometer level 247,000 !!!! the current owner (in-law papa) who would sell us the car cheaply, has made every service at volvo (so about 4-5 services in the year !) and has driven about 95% long distance with it, the car was moved as good as never in the city and certainly not “driven” up to normal service activities was no lack or error to fix. In terms of price there are enough comparisons in the internet and there would be a real family snag only now the question: how long does it make such a car really? I know people driving a toyota with 350 tkm or a citroen xsara picasso with 240tkm, but there would be a real family snippet with an extreme of 120 thousand kilometers and can count for the old one thousand kilometers.

Is an XC 90 still available after the Chinese takeover?
Hello, I’m still looking for an XC 90 successor. Actually, I wanted something else, because there is no further developed XC 90. However, since I still like it, it was/is still an option for buying in January/February. I had noticed the rumors that the Chinese would take over Volvo, but I had always suppressed them in order not to be regarded as a counter-argument for buying a Volvo. Now it’s probably time, according to the media, the purchase by the Chinese is probably perfect. Can one then buy another Volvo? Sure, the XC 90 is not produced in China and the supplies remain the same, but what is in 3 – 4 years? Reselling chance for a “Chinese”? What about Kulanz? Is my good Volvo dealer no longer a Volvo dealer in the near future…. How do you see this? I haven’t made any good experiences with products from China so far (I know the XC 90 does not come from China). I also know what comes from Chine. I still don’t like to strengthen the Asian market.

C70 Gear changes
Moin people, with my Volvo C70 2.0T MJ2000 convertible, seem to say goodbye to the synchronous rings on the gearbox for gears 4 and 5. Since I would replace the gearbox as a whole, the question would be which gearbox would fit at all. Must it be a gearbox of a C70? Or can it be one of a V70/2 or V70/1? What else should be taken care of, except for the correct translation?

Interior trim tailgate V70
Hello, have the following problem: The lock of the tailgate no longer works… Close the door, monkey dead ? To get to the lock the tailgate should be opened…just like without a ZV (I think the actuator is broken) and without the possibility to open with a key. I get the disguise even if the flap is open, or does someone know what I could do (without the friendly) ? Greeting Peter

Does anyone know what tape this is for “tweaking”?
Colleagues, in Vadis it is recommended by Volvo to “tweak” parts of the dashboard with a tape (Article No. 3537385). The tape is glued between the different plastic parts (see also photo) My question: Does one know this tape, what is the alternative (doesn’t come to the Volvo dealer at the moment)? And of course even more important: is it worth the effort? That can be done in some places of the center console, especially in the area of the armrest it always crackles.

Need urgent help V70I TDI no longer in the car
Hello, it’s really good for you to have a good time. I’ve already got a lot of tips here. But now I’ve got a big problem? I’ve got a V70 TDI Bj.1999. The driving pleasure was quite great during the test drive. Made a good impression. The V70 has an EZV which also worked……so I thought. My V70 has only one lock on the driver’s side. All other doors have no locks.Unfortunately! So now it comes……….. Since I have a season KZ 11/04 and V70 only wanted to drive in the winter I didn’t want to jam the mass cable of the battery (and that was the big mistake) closed the doors and the engine hood and made a short close test. I thought the driver’s door can open at any time. But unfortunately wrong thought! The driver’s door can’t open the only lock on the V70!

Cooler fan, but which of them???
So now I need a piece of advice, which is the fan that is responsible for cooling the engine???? In the now I help myself is unfortunately not described. There I read only that the fuse that flies out for the fan is and that’s with me who is sitting exactly behind the radiator grille. (so that would have to be the engine fan or ??) That runs to the engine compartment with me so that would have to be the one for the climate???

Opel Omega B Caravan, 2.5L V6, 125 KW Built `96: CO value too high
I have a question for you: I was at the DEKRA last time because of the ASU with my Opel Omega 2.5L, V6 125KW, built in 1996. The ASU didn’t give because CO-value would have to be 0.3. My Omega unfortunately had 0.56….. is the verdict not to deliver me the ASU ok. or do they ask themselves a little petty? Also on my question, where could possibly be a source of error for it, they could not really help me. They only thought that it might be the cat or the Lambda system. In clear text this could mean: ellenlange Messerei, which u. circumstances could become really expensive or? I would be extremely grateful about every helpful tip from you. ….. By the way, did the car only have about 1.5 weeks. Greetings, Aki
