  • Lidl exhaust hood 😉

    Hello, I rather like a nice suction sound, I don’t think so much of the exhaust tuning, yet: I find the original and oval standard exhaust pipe rather boring. My little brother (12 years) brought me today from Lidl such a 5.99€ stainless steel exhaust panel, he just gave it to me. Since the original pipe is already oval, I removed the whole bracket in the aperture and see there, it fits perfectly on the original pot and lifts without fixing. So he wants to beautify his exhaust and keep the original pot, he should buy such a thing. The nice thing is that it looks like it’s original. Felix

  • What’s there– brakes??

    Hello, I have a problem again with my audi 80 type 89 Built. 90 1.6L 51KW !!! For a few days I have had the problem that it squats at the front left while braking, it sounds like it’s already on iron brake^^ But that can’t be because the documents are still relatively new (1.5 years). At first the noise only hit when it was wet so when it was raining! Now I have the creek while I brake (you can hear it only from a speed below 50 kmh) But the creek is not t only there while I brake but also after I let go of the brake and it is only then again when I drive away. When I was just on the way home, I noticed by the way a clacking or grinding front left. What could that be? Brake it does quite normal (yet). Otherwise I also notice nothing while driving everything like before just this loop noise. I don’t think it’s the wheel bearing that sounds somehow different. ken but maybe you have had this before and can tell me what it was with you?

    hello my ladies and my dear participants at the forum meeting. I just say thank you very briefly here for appearing in the resin and thank you all for your enthusiasm to make us a super nice week. the reader of the exit has already explained ulli-g in the previous read in detail and thanks ulli for that you were there. I personally was very pleased about that. I hope that you all come home well now, or have come and I am happy to see you and hopefully some more, in the coming year for the 2nd resin forum meeting again. @uli: the people had spoken out mostly for a rest in the same location on Saturday evening to get to know the resin even more. the central location of the resin in Germany was a 2nd argument. the pictures and possibly videos of the meeting will then also provide me for inspection for everyone else if all those who have photographed here have sent the cd ́s h aben. my address I will be happy to send you via PN. otherwise everyone will have a nice Sunday and I’m curious what will happen here for resonances in the coming week. your bb-blue

  • Harley Wiesbaden

    Hi! I don’t know if public blasphemy is allowed here but I really have to get rid of something. I was a customer at Harley Davidson in Wiesbaden from 1996 to 2008. I had my Sporty waiting there for 5 years and since 2001 my Deuce. The owners/managers changed several times during this time – I never really felt really comfortable or just welcome there. I always stood there like ordered and didn’t pick up, often they spoke out. Ortkarg and Griesgramig and after more than 10 years they still looked at me as if I were there for the first time. But that is not even so important to me in the end. Worse I found that the workshop work was carried out there partly very sloppy. I already came home and found that the belt guard, several screws were not screwed to the axle mount of the fork and other fastenings, the choke clamped (was an inspection pu nkt) and so on and so on. On recommendations I switched to Benno from Benno’s Custom Road in Bad Camberg and am very happy there so far. Now I had my bike for a repair and an inspection there. Benno tells me at the pick-up he changed the air filter element for one of K&N. Strangely, I think I used one of these years ago. I asked him if he is sure that there was not already one, but he was 100% sure, that only one of these papers was HD air filter elements in it. I had already thought about it a few times- “whether the ones in Wiesbaden that is a K&N air filter is NOT to be thrown away?” but then never looked at it. Finally, you can see at first glance. Well, I guess I was wrong. Anyway, it doesn’t matter if they changed my €90 K&N filter element for a cheap paper filter element from HD – I find it simply schice! How this dealer can keep himself despite moderate customer friendliness and workshop work is a middle riddle to me. Anyway, they have seen me as a customer! I just wanted to get rid of that.   • Coupling and brake line problems at Road King

    hello again… I want to be brief: started my ape conversion! wants me to make brake lines, but needs the exact winch measurements on the container and on the brake itself. (he told me something of 10 or 11,.. mm, with newer harleys the connections could probably also be already metric… true that? can I hardly imagine) besides I need a coupling train in 205cm length… have first been able to identify a supplier and that can only train for what was then changed then? they really don’t fit after that anymore or can you adjust them? and where else can I get a clutch train over 2m? my RK is year 2005, model 2006 and therefore has the 88 tc as a one-pointer.   • Oil leak on the engine housing left-HÜLFÄ

    Hi! Just spent a cool weekend with the bikes in Alsace and the North Vosges. Before cleaning up then I noticed an oil stain (two three teaspoons) on the ground. Under the moped crawled and see there, the whole left side of the crankshaft housing and the left frame train were quite smeared and there were a few drops at the bottom of the protective hose running down long. Have checked all sorts of suspects: oil filter, crankshaft sensor, oil pressure sensor all tro There, where the cables come from the alternator to the voltage regulator from the engine housing (Stator Connector Plug) the oil seems to leak. Does anyone know the problem? Does anyone even have a solution ready? How dramatic is the oil loss? I ask because we want to take a 4000km tour to Sweden on Friday and I don’t want to get this thing into the workshop until it starts. Only hints of possibly injection pump, traverse hoses, fuel pump etc.. Here is the problem description: engine run about 209000 km. Runs for three years on three glow candles. At the cold temperatures in Dec. November and January he jumped some more measurements after about 15 to 20 seconds. There I once put a can for cleaning the injection nozzles etc. as an addition in the tank and the bee jumped better. 3 days later bee had to pull a hanger, so about 300 km. At 110 kmh she was really thirsty. When giving gas, she always gave off a small black cloud and the hanger tarpaulin had diesel or oil drops? I think it was diesel at the consumption. The car jumped but the next 3 days still good. And then: In the morning long gurgling starts. 3 to 4 times under smoke formation. At the end he came into operation. The battery fats flatt. The next days fed with start pilot and it came to itself faster. So now to the FOH and problem described. How in the chats fuel return lines changed, valve covers checked in and expanded?? and traverse seal. Success? 80 euro issues. Next the probably fixed drall flaps should be made manageable.     Greetings , my Calibra Turbo makes me mad, he jumped early normal at then I stopped briefly and since the end is!   • Difference 1.8t, 2.0t and 2.0T engine and gearbox?

    Hello together, recently I acquired a YS3F MJ 2007 as 1.8t. After recent research I found that apparently all have the same engine. Therefore the question of what is the difference of the 3 variants. Bzw maybe also how I can upgrade a 1.8t to a 2.0T. Other loader? Charging air cooler? ECU? What is the difference? The transmission also seems to be different, because Vmax varies between 210/225/235 km/h. Verbated is a 5-speed switch with 210 km/h. I still have a 6-speed gearbox switch from a YS3F 2.8 V6 MJ 2006 with Vmax 250km/h. Does that fit? Drive shafts are the same (different from the YS3D gearbox comparison 2.0i and 2.0T).

  • T-Max Compressor – Matching blower?

    Hi, everybody! I’ve now given myself a compressor ( https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07J5PLTNP/ ) From T-Max – but with this name (T-Max AM1857_312.8072200) you can’t find it anywhere, except Amazon. 72L/min is on the type plate. a request 🙂 Can someone link me a suitable “exhaust gun” for this?
