Last week we were with the motorcycle in the south of France. Unfortunately, when I was parked, I brushed a curb, which resulted in a leak in the oil tank. Fortunately, we made it to the next BMW motorcycle workshop. But there we were opened that one had only six or seven weeks for a repair. That was of course not an option for us. So we contacted the BMW-Pannendienst, whereupon the motorcycle allegedly slid off to another BMW workshop. Unfortunately it has not arrived there until today. The telephone demand at the address indicated by the towing service only led to the information that the dealer is a BMW dealer who only leads cars. Also no motorcycle has been delivered. At the BMW towing service we are comforted for more than a week, one will contact the local towing service to clarify the whereabouts of the motorcycle. This so far without success. We travelled back to Switzerland with a rental car. There is still no trace of the motorcycle. The fact that BMW apparently takes care of our problem with very little commitment is extremely frustrating.

Two questions I’ve always wanted to ask
Question 1 There are three ways to turn off the engine of my 850 R 1) Open the side stand 2) Turn the key switch 3) Switch the emergency switch on the right-hand steering Erbende to the left or right n. Does it play any role in how to turn off the engine? Is there a “better” or “bader” way? Question 2 When my motorcycle is up on the main stand, I get up and move my upper body forwards with a swing so that the motorcycle moves a little forward and the main stand collapses.. Do you do so? Does this happen one day after the main stand breaks? Thank you for your answers

E10 – European or not?
Quotation: Directive 2009/30/EC of the European Parliament obliges all Member States to market petrol with a maximum of 10 % by volume fuel ethanol (bioethanol) under the industry abbreviation E10 (of ethanol 10%), thereby reducing dependence on the oil-producing countries. According to the EU Directive, for vehicles which do not tolerate this type E10, the existing petrol as a so-called conservation site must continue to be offered at least until 2013 After that, only the petrol type Super Plus will be available for the vehicles that do not tolerate the fuel with 10% ethanol. Diesel vehicles are not affected by the change. So it is in Wikipedia. Now, however, I read in the local press that car manufacturers from other European countries do not align their vehicles at all to E10, even warn against refueling this fuel when visiting Germany. Does anyone know more about this? Is E10 again a German (tube-creep) drive, similar to the exhaust badges, whose effectiveness today is proven to tend towards zero? Many greetings, Markus.

Overtaking with obstacles to cross-border traffic
Hello together, can one of you tell me from when there is a barrier to the oncoming traffic while overtaking? In my case it was like this: I and my co-driver drove on Sunday two weeks ago on a country road as the last car of a total 3. The first car turned left into a dirt road. The car driving in front of me came as always no longer into the corridors and crept in front of me with about 40 km/h. Then I looked at the opposite road and had approx. 400-450m clear view to the next place I quickly overtook the car and snapped again. The only stupid thing about it was that the police came to meet me. The police immediately turned around and made a roar of blue light and siren uprising to stop me. The extremely unfriendly policeman accuses me of overtaking me with a hindrance to the back traffic, as they apparently had to slow down. But don’t understand why they had to slow down, since my opinion is that nac h there was enough distance. Anyway, today there was a fine of more than 123.50 euros and three points in Flensburg in the mailbox. I feel pretty fucked up and would like to know what I have everything for possibilities. Accident and insurance
I made a total mess: I had a car accident, because of the circumstances completely guilty, even if the other road user was busy with the mobile phone and drove too fast. Just ran quite stupid. I was classified because for years I had no own car in level 1/2. Now came the report that I was upgraded to 0 in the new insurance year. I just made a price comparison and saw that still with do insurance the costs not hoc h gehen. So, what now? * I must probably look when the new insurance year starts here: either 1 year after the insurance start or the new year. * At the moment I have no points, but probably there is still something, if no driving ban. So what would you do in this situation if the new insurance year starts at 1.1.2022? Now immediately complete a new insurance before a point may come or doesn’t matter at all? Audi 80 (81) Light engine problem
Hi, I’ve got an Audi A 80 year 1986 with 124000 km, so now have the following problem, when I jam the battery starts to smoke the light mesh! When I start the car everything Ok only the battery lamp lights up sometimes and sometimes not, after 5 times the car start the battery is empty! I tap on light mesh but nothing more precise a joy of me (KFZler) has also avoided it could have broken some ECUs in the car, Knows one of you this Prob. lem or knows where I get a guide from where I can test as is broken or not!? Help with the extreme sound??
So it’s time for people, my age B3 with 70 hp should stay the same as it is. For that sound has to be pure that has washed itself. Of course money plays the role of the roles. Because without MOOS NIC LOSS So I’ll start… With the boxing: How would the performance be if I built a box… And how high can you bring the performance maximum, with self-built boxes. because completely new I can’t afford. Shouldn’t be small and should give me unique sound. Who can give me tips? n, pages where I know what I need for such boxes and possibly also some costs can specify.. The second problem: probably not so easy, I need an amplifier that has washed itself. Maximum 130€ to 150All at most… I know about amplifiers 0 and need your top opinion… And maybe you can also give me a pair of names where you can talk about since or where you can be satisfied… please also pay attention to RMS and OHM details…because otherwise I don’t look at them. The third and last problem… Sound is always nice, but what do I do with my battarie? I know that I have to connect amplifiers to the battarie, so now I’ve done it and turn it up full, I know my car has to be on it. Because otherwise my battarie is empty at the time I don’t want to. Audi 80 Cooling system problem
Hello! I bought a 93 Audi Quattro 2,6L V6. Since the radiator temperature indicator did not work, I thought it was due to a cold soldering point in the amarture board. Everything soldered=> problem not solved. Now I sprayed up the temperature sensor (4-pole) contact spray. Result: After about 20Km drive the pointer goes up to 100 degrees (motorway), when I drive slowly it goes back to 90 degrees. I honestly don’t know what it is. Is such a behavior known to you ? Luis!

Honda CBR 600 RR PC37 hoses on the gear shift
Hello together, the days I covered my Honda PC37 as usual with a tarpaulin. The next day I noticed that the tarpaulin was very “oily” at the area of the gear shift in the foot area (left side, middle, bottom of the motorcycle). I checked everything, no excess chain oil, no engine oil which leaks out somewhere. My question now: does someone know where all the hoses that end there are connected or what purpose they fulfill? I think it comes out there. like what comes out exactly there what my tarp so messed up 🙂 Best regards
