  • Urea engine failure Berlingo Diesel Euro 6

Urea engine error Berlingo Diesel Euro 6 first registration production date end of 2016 and day registration January 2017, acquired February 2018, 5 km. dear people, I bought a Berlingo 99 hp diesel Euro 6 with mileage 5 km in February 2018. On the first drive the engine block symbol and the hint, Urea error appeared after 100 km. But the Urea stand was full. The workshop then probably only replayed the software, the error was then gone for 12000 km, i.e. after pretty much exactly thirteen months the error occurs again, at the same time the display I could drive 1000 km. The day after I had to drive a longer distance again, and it was a bit strange. At the first 50 km the engine was jerking/vibrated easily and quickly, so at about 2000 revolutions per minute, in the 4th, 5th, and 6th gear. Another 50 km later the engine was then warm, this jerking was not to be provoked. Error memory: no message. Any tips, how I deal with the workshop; the cause of the error from last year has probably not been fixed? Ciao Schwipp Oh, one more thing maybe is because of the error: I read that the Urea tank(?) has to have a certain pressure. In January before the maintenance I refueled about 3 liters of Urea, but I can not get partout closed again firmly, it claps loosely on the filling socket, no idea how the tight locking works!

  • WhereMo Fiat Ducato built in 2021 AU did not exist

I went to TÜV with my vehicle for the first time after three years and did not pass the AU. Up to 1,000,000 particles despite 70 km of warm drive. The workshop has now ordered a DPF. Cost point approx. 3500,- Euro. Fiat does not give a culant because I did not make an inspection after 24 months.

  • Brake pressure Foot brake

Hello, I have a problem with Ducato 290 with the brake. When the brake is pedaling, the brake point is at first quite low. I pump once or twice the brake point is already slightly higher. Disc brake pads in front and drum brake pads together with springs etc. in the back have been changed. The hand brake has also been adjusted. The problem still exists. Does anyone know that? What else could it be?

  • AFR 195cc SBC LT4 Eliminator Street Cylinder Head

Hi V8-Lover, after an in-depth test it won’t be anything with the LS2 as a replacement for the LT1. The engine compartment is just too small for it. MIST. Anyway now it will be a 383 Stroker and my question to you, possibly also Rüdiger in particular, is: Has anyone had experience with the AFR 195cc SBC LT4 Eliminator Street Cylinder Head??? I’m just about to go through the component-sizing and reprogramming. Maybe someone can say something to the heads and suction track. Thanks for every meaningful n Note 😉 Merlin

  • How does the heart of GM beat?

GM has over 8 millards minus, a number that worries me, because I care a lot about Chevy, Pontiac etc., ask what happens now with GM ? Can GM still save itself ? A SuperGAU would be a takeover of Japanese, the 2nd insolvency . Nothing against Jap. cars but GM should remain US., the at Chrysler has just gone well or has sat down in Positve (Challenger, 300c etc.) Also with Ford I hope the best, on the old days !

  • Brake not ventilated

Hello together, I had to change the front brake hoses with my vehicle, because the old porous and barely permeable ones were. Then I logically wanted to vent the brake and with the help of a cheap ventilator, as you get it at ebay, amazon and Co.. Unfortunately, the device did not put up any pressure, then I pumped the pedal, which had the same effect in the end. But after the first test drive I had the impression, that the braking effect was already better and wanted to air out a second time. With the rear brake calipers this worked immediately, but at the front then directly air bubbles came with and more and more air and finally only air. It looked from the outside at least as if brake fluid had flowed continuously into the container. But then I screwed up the container and found that it was almost empty. I finally filled up by hand and the chi ng-thing thrown into the corner and wanted to try it without, but no matter how often I pump over the pedal, there is nothing, neither left nor right. But the container is still full, so there seems to be nothing to follow. What now, do I have so much air in the system that no pressure can be built up at all? If so, how can I get the (possibly with home supplies) out again? Plan B would be driving to the next workshop, but they have a. no time and are b. lying on the mountain. At least in the rear circuit there would have to be still liquid and thus also brake pressure, so a short drive should be possible within the place, I would still have to have the hand brake. But what irritates me a little is a warning in the workshop manual: it says, you should not let the servo pump run for more than 2 minutes at a time during the venting. Now I wonder, what happens to the servo pump, if I drive with air in the system, the then also hot? Supposedly one drives with a defective brake hose and one of the circuits runs empty, as the pump should not give up the spirit? Thanks and greetings Olli

  • Insurance does not want to pay costs for estimate

Moin, unfortunately, did not find an exact answer to my question in the old topics. I had a recent accident without fault. An ugly thing with a driver’s flight etc. But then could locate the culprit. I had a cost estimate made as requested by his insurance. This cost me €50. Since I do not want to repair the damage, I asked to transfer the money without VAT. Now the insurance refuses to pay me. the 50€ for the estimate, because these 50€ would not be incurred in the event of a repair. I do this correctly? (only for information: the damage is less than 750€ therefore no expert) To others I have a part of an expense fee that you get in such cases. How high is this and is this fixed somewhere? I thank you already.

  • What car is it supposed to be? I have no idea!

Hello ,liebe US Cargemeinde. Wanted to get me next year a Mustang V6 but the idea is now on ice because my situation is changing. well, I need another car anyway and I could get a 91 Pontiac firebird V6 now but there’s my besere half against it because she wants an E class as a combi and I think that’s good too. Above all, the new and safer one. Or? I really didn’t find the firebird as a child already quite great and And then when I was 13, I said he was going to be my first car, well, the car has to be suitable for everyday use and had to be old on the highway for a while. I’m kind of torn back and forth between the two cars that aren’t really like each other at all. Please help me. mfg
