    Wants to put deeper into my C 180 Esprit. Have currently 7.5 x 17 AMG rims on it (225/45R17). What can I do there. Only springs or direct suspension? But does not want to make any body changes. mfg

  • 230k VS. 323,325,328?

    Hi who of you has a 230k? can you tell me your experiences like it looks performance-defining against BMW 323, 325, 328 and much Golf VR6? Have opened my compressor (allegedly 230hp) But I’m not so sure. Has any of you also had the conversion done, how have the driving performance changed with you?

  • Top speed Kia Proceed GT 2019 DCT

    Good morning together, I have a question for you. Unfortunately I am also affected by the “pull-like acceleration”. Now I drove a longer distance (~ 25 km) full throttle on the weekend. The top speed of 230-235 km/h (according to the tacho) on the flat track was relatively constant, which actually can not correspond to 225 km/h. However, in sport mode at Kickdown ( 4.speed 150 km/h) the speed and speed remained the same, only when manual switching in gear 5 it went on treacherously. It felt like an eternity until I reached about 200 km/h. Did you have that extreme too? The above-mentioned top speed was reached in aisle 6 and not in aisle 7, is that correct?

  • ADAC – normal or plus membership ?

    If I would like to register in the ADAC, I think offers more than most protection letters. Which of the two would you choose? Drive about 10 tkm a year, mostly city, then follow highway and AB. Usually within a radius of 30 km, alone or for two. Almost exclusively domestic.

  • W108 or W115

    Hello and good day, after my friend told me a few days ago that he used his old Volvo 140 next to a Borgward Isabella Kombi every day, I had the stupid idea to get another oldtimer (next to my current bus). I would like to drive it regularly in the season, preferably daily. Besides a W115 I also found a W108 with nearly the same basic data and condition which both agree to me. Unfortunately I have with both models so far No experience. I had a W123 a few years ago. Is my project at all possible to use the Mercedes as a “daily driver” without excessive service/care and restoration effort in the fine weather season? I don’t want to start a “bar without ground” project and did not want a “water-soluble” car that has to be overhauled after a few summer thunderstorms. What would you take, with which motorization? Is the W108 more rust-prone and more sensitive than the W115? another model more recommended? Thank you. Markus
