I’m looking for brake calipers for my Skylark Custom. I asked for Cars & Stripes and they want 359€ per piece + 80€ deposit for the old part. With Rockauto you can find the one here http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,carcode,1022881,parttype,1704 Do I understand that those my calipers just overhear and then send them back? Hello, yesterday I asked a big Cadillac dealer when the diesel comes in the CTS and received the following answer: Dear Mr. xxxxx, thank you for your interest in the Cadillac CTS. Contrary to the announcements in the specialist press, the CAdillac CTS will not be equipped with a diesel engine. Instead, intensive work is being done on a bi-fuel variant. If you have any questions, I am very happy to be at your disposal. xxxx Can anyone confirm that? I was really interested in the diesel.

when I went home this evening (the last 3 km it goes uphill) and then put off the fox, I noticed a red glow (red as with a cigarette) behind the radiator grill (under the hood). when I opened the hood, what glowed (the curved one?) under a sheet cover. because I don’t know myself so well with engines and especially with vw motors: is that normal? or do I/my car have an arges problem? did not find anything in the operating instructions. however, I don’t want to know anything about myself either: is that normal? or do I/my car have an arges problem? in the wekrstatt embarrass. guaranteed I would have spent another month on the fox. what should I do? please help! thank you! gruss -pocky101-

Antenna broken away
Something very stupid happened to me today. I’ve had a Fox as a rental car for a few days. Parked the good piece in my duplex garage, there was already a lot of noise (as you probably noticed, the lower level of the garage) and I remembered again, the antenna. Was not too bad when driving in, but driving out, could not unscrew it, so someone held it while driving out, but then slipped away and the stupid antenna broke out of the anchor. What’s the fun at VW going to cost me? Thank you very much.

After 10,000 km brake discs defective – no culant !!
Hello Fox drivers, the Fox of my mother is only 15 months young has about 10,000 km (daily use!) down and when braking from about 80 km/h everything vibrates like crazy in the interior. Drive to the VW dealer: Brake discs are rusty in various places (hence at these places thicker), therefore the vibrating… Statement: Wearable part, brakes were used too little…^^ etc. no culant! Has someone ever had experience or similar problem and culant se itens VW? Would be by far the first KfZ which has broken brake discs after this mileage…is simply incomprehensible and indicates poor material quality. thank you for suggestions and or opinions

High oil consumption 300SL-24 R129
Hello you screwdrivers, the winter break is here and I still have a repair in front of me. For this I need some expert tips from you. According to Tacho my engine has now 170,000 km down and runs so far very well. Admittedly, the consumption in normal driving is 14- 14.5 liters in the city traffic, but that is not yet disturbing. Rather, the high oil consumption bothers me. It is at min. 4 liters at 1000 km. In the cold condition everything is good, only as soon as the engine warms up. is he pulling a blue cloud, or rather fog carpet behind him. The engine is absolutely dry outside, no water in the oil or no oil in the water. Is it enough if I only do the shaft seals, or is that too much oil consumption for the shaft seals? Roller no longer pulls properly and has lost to final speed
Hey together, ride a Tgb Bullet 50RR, 2013. The scooter always ran top, had a train and came to a final speed of 65 kmh. But now at 58kmh is the end! The scooter turns when starting up higher as usual, and takes longer until it is at final speed. I have already changed/cleaned/ and renewed a lot. There are no tuning kits installed!!! New is the spark plug, clutch, the suction nozzle, V-belts and weights. Air filter is not the latest but looks okay, The scooter has no drop-outs, and after 30 seconds of driving, it stands well at 2200 u/min at the traffic light. I also sealed the exhaust at Krummer and connection to the pot with Gum Gum. Oh yes the converter is also used New. Hope someone can help me to have fun again. And please no information that the scooter is going too fast anyway and …….think you know what I mean. Mfg SL
