Driving licence valid for only 15 years
Hello dear MTlers! Allegedly, the driving licence should only be valid for 15 years due to an EU directive. However, the old ones would still apply until 2033. There should also be no health examination necessary for the extension. (What in my view makes the whole project look quite pointless – there would have been a field in the identity card and the police probably have access to a current passport photo anyway.) On the other hand, you can also ask yourself whether the n Is it an entry into a system with a health test? It doesn’t take a lot of imagination for it to be a particularly unpleasant occasion, which then triggers a discussion going on. So if this thing comes for everyone, because Germany is still in the EU until then, then it is not unlikely that it will come with a built-in health test, especially a vision test. What do you think of it?

Disable immobilizer Twingo 2001
Hello I’m new here. I have already tried the search engine but found nothing suitable. I have a problem with a Twingo Bj 2001, 1.2l 16v. With the Twingo the immobiliser can sometimes not be deactivated. Now I was in a free workshop. There I was told I had to go to Renault and I need a new immobiliser that would cost about 1000β¬. Now my question I can not simply permanently deactivate the immobiliser? Or is the repair really so te uer? I find my 1000β¬ stuck in such an old car too much. Thanks already Steffen

Twingo doesn’t really take gas
Hi, everybody! I have a Twingo 16v, Bj2001, 76000km down! When I drove home from work today, I had the problem at the traffic lights when I was speeding up, that I at the same time had the feeling that someone would step on the brakes in a 1-second-stroke. That then pulled up for a while, but then was away again. I still went to Renault and left the car there to check through. I drive a lot of highway and don’t want to go there in the morning at 7 U So, now to my question: Do you have any idea what that could be? Would you like to adjust me to it quite a bit? I still have a guarantee, so I would also be interested in what falls into the guarantee and what is not (electronics stuff). Daaaanke already!

Mazda MX-5 NA purchasing advice
Hello together! I’m looking tomorrow at a NA Bj.91 red with 140tkm 1. Property and service well maintained. Apparently it is also stainless and in top condition. Price is 9,900, – is that too much for a well maintained NA? And are there special things to watch out for at MX5 NA? Have read up to now mainly about rust problems. I would be very happy about an answer! Have a nice evening still

Flashlight warner
Moin together…I noticed something strange today. I drive the same route to work every day and from the time I got my Xceed (now a good 2 months) the Biltzerwarner activated. Tonight I drive to the night shift and get on the highway and country road, flashes indicated and warned, which were built up in these places longer times, and are off and on. Yesterday and also before that I never got warnings at this St. ellen. Didn’t make an update or anything else. Could it be because the car is connected to my WLan at home, something is updated itself? Did anyone else find that out here?

Small accident with Fiat 500 at Car Sharing provider Share Now. High repair costs justified?
Hello, I recently had a small accident with a Fiat 500 car rental, which I rented from the provider Share Now. After the repair I received an invoice, which seems to me to be very high in relation to the damage. Since I have a driver’s license, but I do not own a car and had no accident so far, I would be interested in a second opinion. The following happened: When I parked again I missed a side-placed street lantern and am I looked at the back of the car and could only see a small crack in the rear bumper (see picture). The street lamp is made of solid steel and undamaged. Since there were no witnesses, I was now faced with the choice to cover up the incident and just keep driving (that’s not even so few doing it at car sharing), or to face the matter and report the accident. I decided to go for more letzeres and report the accident. e the accident. The handling was problem-free: fill out a phone call and a form. So the thing was done for me for the time being. Since basically only some plastic broke, I expected about 300β¬ to 400β¬ damage. So far so well. I was not surprised, however, when I got presented at the end of the last week an invoice of ~1300β¬. In fact I have to pay “only” 750β¬ excess. The invoice seems to me excessive: spare parts: 4 X S CHRAUBE 6.24β¬ 2 X LABOUR 7.44β¬ 4 X CLIP PROCESSING 4.85β¬ 2 X CLIP PROCESSING 3.26β¬ 2 X LABOUR CLOTHERS 4.32β¬ PROCESSING 12.00β¬ TOTAL SUPPLY PARTS …………………………………………….. 38.87β¬ Wage (189.00 EUR/STD): PREPARATION PERIOD VEHICLE: 37.80β¬ LABOUR SPEAKERS AND LOANS: 94.50β¬ CLOTHING: 103.95β¬ PROTECTION LABOURERS: 9.45β¬ DISCRIMINATION FROM INSTITUTION: 189.00β¬ TOTAL WORKING WITHOUT …………………… …… 434.70β¬ Coating: STOSSFAENGER H REP LACK UP TO 20%: 103.95β¬ DECKEL STOSSF H DECKLACKATION: 18.90β¬ ROAD TIME FOR 2 SHIFT LACKING: 302.40β¬ TOTAL LACKING INCL MATERIAL …………………………..616.61β¬ REPERATURE COSTS WITHOUT VAT………………..1 090.18β¬ REPERATURE COSTS WITH VAT…………………1 297.31β¬ Apparently, the rear bumper was not even replaced but painted very elaborately. ? The hourly wage of 189β¬ / h is already quite sporty… Has anyone ever had a similar kind of accident here and then got a similarly high bill? Is this so common in car accidents or am I being dragged over the table here?
